Named after the owner’s youngest son, Satchel’s on 6th is the place to eat and drink. Our Chef has created a contemporary, eclectic, New American neighborhood menu using seasonal ingredients that results in refined flavors and inspired plates. We've put our heart and soul into this place and it gives us great pleasure to serve you.
Warm wood tones and exposed brick highlight this cozy, 50 seat space that has made its home on East Denver reinvigorated 6th Avenue. Says Casalini, Our goal is to become the best go-to, indispensable restaurant in the neighborhood. Period. End of story.

Chilled English pea and crab soup blew us away - it could not have been more delicious and well suited for the Spring season.

This was a second visit and we took guests who had never dined here before. They LOVED it. The food, service and ambiance were excellent. An outstanding dining experience.

We have been to Satchel’s numerous times and it always is enjoyable; love sitting at the lively bar! I love the fresh, seasonal Ingredients the chef uses and last nights meal with a salad with a few different kinds of spring peas combined with the pasta and morel mushrooms was amazing!

Satchel’s on 6th was an unexpected delight. My wife and I made a reservation and made a couple of requests. As first-time diners, we were pleasantly surprised when both of our requests were honored. This is a neighborhood/bistro-type restaurant with an apparently very loyal following. It was mobbed with a corresponding noise level on Saturday night. Many of the guests were embraced by the owner who was tending the outdoor grill on a rainy and cold night. The menu is small but varied. The small wine list on the reverse side of the menu listed an undistinguished list of wine by the glass only but we were told by our server that they have a separate and more extensive list upon request. Each of our dishes (burrata, salmon crudo, grilled oysters, halibut and lamb loin chops) were expertly prepared and attractively presented. If you are interested in a place that emphasizes quality but isn’t fancy, this is a place for you. In this day and time when restaurants with big reputations often disappoint and don’t deliver, give Satchel’s a try. Hopefully you won’t be disappointed. It was a special occasion for us, and the staff knew it and honored our patronage with complimentary glasses of champagne. This is a place that values and appreciates its customers. No surprise that they have been operating in the Cherry Creek area for over 15 years. We were first-timers but will become regulars. All in all, a lovely evening in a place with lots of vibe and atmosphere with food and service to match.

The food is the reason to go and most of what we had (no beef though) was very good. The pasta and bursts were excellent. The drinks were meh for us. Service was superb.

We love Satchel's on 6th and come here often. Last night's fare was good, not great. The burger was too greasy and the halibut preparation did not make the most of the ingredients used. It was interesting but was not particularly tasty nor memorable. Service was fantastic. Overall value for the money was just okay.
