Their Express Lunch is a good deal, but they recently eliminated some of our favorites; that is, eggplant parmigiano and lasagna. The salad was ample with many good things on it, except the kitchen sink! Fortunately, the items we like is still on the Supper Club menu. The waitstaff is the best!

We had the chopped salad with dressing on the side. Don’t make this mistake as the dressing is super thick and impossible to toss yourself. Our Eggplant lasagna came out cold and flavorless. Very disappointing, we were hungry so we just ate it. The shaved brussel sprouts were grossly over glazed with a balsamic reduction. This created a sugar like coating or flavor which destroyed the dish. I would suggest more olive oil, fresh garlic and spices. The shinning star of Saranelos is most definitely the banana tiramisu. We didn’t have it on this visit. Although will be back to experience after dining elsewhere. The food was similar to an inexpensive buffet that I’ve experienced in my days just starting out. Our waiter Bobby was an absolute pleasure! Plus, the house Pinot noir was smooth and delish with a nice lingering finish. Maybe an off a night. However, I’m not willing to part with another $100 to find out.

Mother's Day dinner . Place was packed!! Waitperson was terrific. She and her colleagues did the best they could but kitchen was very slow and some things were wrong.

The service was impeccable! The server did a fantastic job! She was the right amount of attentive. Kind and warm. She greeted my wife by saying happy Mother’s Day. She was also very engaging with my 8 year old daughter! While the food overall was good, two dishes did disappoint. The Lobster bisque had very miniscule morsels of lobster, at least I hope it was lobster, and very little of that. In a lobster bisque, I expect to at least have a few identifiable pieces of lobster. My wife had the king crab pappadarrel (sic). While she said the flavor was fine, there was very little king crab. If you put something first in the name of a dish, I would expect that ingredient ( lobster and king crab) to be more featured in the dish.

My birthday and Mother’s Day. Waitress was good but had too many tables so the service was slow. We’ve had her before and she’s great so not Blaming her. Not as many vegetarian options as before and 3 are vegetarians. Missed pizza and garlic knots. Doubt we will be back. Prior we had the side room and much quieter also. Had a 4 year old with us and after 2 hours decided to skip dessert which for us is definitely part of the celebration. . Waitress felt bad and gave us cookies to go but just wasn’t an enjoyable experience.

The manager put our table of 10 at a wobbly picnic table and mouthed off too f**king bad to his other server when we asked to move. Way to treat us during mother's day for $45+ a person meal. We won't be back, worst lettuce entertain you restaurant I have ever been to.

Really HATE when restaurants pass on their cost of doing business onto their customers. Saranello's does a 3% service charge.

The service was good and attentive. Appreciated the newer presentation of the buffet table set up along the window wall. This made movement along the buffet table easier and the area less crowded than when it was set up in and around the bar. My family appreciated the server taking omelet orders from the tables rather than waiting at the omelet station. This was our 2nd year spending our Mother's Day at your brunch. We do come for your brunch about 2 other times a year in addition to Mother's Day. Sorry to say, though, I have a complaint. My daughter and grandson really missed the devil eggs. We will be back again soon for brunch.

We went for Sunday brunch on Mothers Day. They didn’t crowd us and fill every table constantly. We were never rushed. The food was displayed nicely and was at the right temperature. Our server was lovely and didn’t rush us to leave.

We ordered Halibut instead of Salmon as the Waiter suggested & it was so delish it came with shaved Brussels sprouts also perfect with the fish! The Service couldn’t be better & we had a great chopped salad before our fish, talked & visited with my grown Grandson (24) & he was truly impressed with the Service also! We finished with a simple piece of cheese cake which he loved! Yes he loves sweets just like his Grandmom!!

So disappointed that they changed their menu. We only go when we are In the Chicago area. But it is usually one of our go tos. They have removed the Chicken Vesuvio (Their signature dish) and the garlic knots. The food and service was still good. But next time in town. We will probably skip our visit

My friends and I meet at Saranello's every other month. The food is consistently good and the cocktails and wine are delicious. Once in a while we will have the dessert and that is always good.

We enjoyed Saranello's Supper Club menu. We also enjoy their Express Lunch menu, but we couldn't make it this time. Everything was delicious. I just wish the restroom was not on the 2nd floor. I don't like elevators, so I walked up and down the stairs.

We love the Express Lunch. The salad is huge with lots of fixings. The entrees are ample, and the tiny dessert is perfect for lunch.

Food, ambience, and setting all above average. If with a larger group, could be conversationally challenged given noise level in main dining area. My issue had to do with waitress Consistently ignored specific members of my party. Omitted asking all table members for drinks, only faced one person when providing information though it was a party of five, and while pleasant, seemed very rushed and short with her interactions. This impacted the quality of our dining experience

I had the Limon Chicken. It use to be my favorite.This time it was very undercooked and tasted rubbery. I couldn’t see our waiter to send it back.

We celebrated Michael’s birthday at Saranello’s. It was a beautiful, 80 degree evening. The server was friendly and efficient. The food was, as usual, delicious and fresh. We have always had nothing but positive experiences here. It’s a very nice restaurant that everyone enjoys.

The FETTUCCINE WITH MUSHROOM ALFREDO was somewhat misleading. I was expecting a traditional Alfredo crème sauce but instead was presented with a Parmesan sauce instead. Not sure how the two were meant to complement each other but it didn’t work. The arugula garnish was VERY bitter and the sausage, while good, seemed to have very little flavor overall. Should have stuck with my go-to entree and ordered the lasagna.

Had the supper club menu before 5:30. All the food was wonderful but had the chocolate marscapone pie and it was a great finish. One of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time.

Left message and asked for a private table but we got a table in the middle of everything. Servers kept hitting everyone's chairs while they move around. The server for the table spilled the soup all on the saucer and she never asked if I need another drink. It's too noisy inside that I almost felt like I had to yell when I talk. Food was good, but not exceptional enough to come back.

Our server, Damon, was very attentive and friendly. He did an awesome job making sure all of our needs were taken care of. The food was great. Honestly, the eggplant Parmesan is probably the best I’ve ever had. I will say the gnocchi was slightly overcooked, though. Other than that, everything was very, very, very good. Thank you !

We missed our server Randy, but the Express Lunch was more than ample and quite good. And our server, the bartender, did a very nice job, too.

We were wedged into. Tiny table that would have been suitable for 2 people only. Half the table was in the aisle and was bumped throughout the meal. My guest was hit with purses as people walked by. We were seated for 20 minutes before Anyone even acknowledged we were seated. We were finishing our meals and who I assume to have been the manager asked us to finish up our meals. ( Reservation for 7pm, it was 8:15 when he did this) our food order wasn’t even taken until 7:40 Parking lot was packed, we had to drive around for 15 minutes for a spot ( granted it was 4/20 and they share a parking lot with a dispensary). It was recommended to me but I will never go there again. I have been a lifelong patron of Lettuce Entertain You restaurants and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I was embarrassed to have suggested it friends for our dinner.

We have been going to Saranello's for years, we loved it there. Last night, we ordered a pizza for appetizer and were informed that they no longer have pizza! Then, I saw no chicken vesuvio, my favorite. They had already done away with the chicken and peppers, which was another one of my favorites there. Due to their limited menu, we will be going to one of the many other great Italian restaurants in the area
