Dine in style at the Andover Inn's signature restaurant, Samuel's

Created with skill and passion, the menu features an exciting array of seafood, steaks, and signature items from our Executive Chef and his culinary team.

We offer a wide variety of spirits, local brews on tap and an ample selection of domestic and international wines complimenting our newly created menu. The Bar offers a lighter fare menu of sandwiches and appetizers to share.

Samuel's also features the Abbot Room, a private dining room that seats up to twelve guests, perfect for hosting a family party, business dinner, or gathering of friends.

Our restaurant offers high ceilings together with warm mahogany and eclectic décor creating a slightly contemporary yet comfortable feeling.

Very disappointing lunch. Server was slow to greet, to take order, to serve it. Salads were drowning in dressing and chicken on the side (weird way to serve it) for salad was dry. There were only 4 other tables but noise level was difficult for elderly people in our group. Menu was uninspiring. Too bad since the location on the campus of PA must draw many people--parents, faculty, alums of the school. I won't hurry back.

Excellent garden salad (house?) and my hubby’s favorite lobster roll so far on this trip! Classic old school restaurant in a beautiful setting…..Loved it!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Mother's Day buffet brunch at Samuel's. The selections were absolutely top quality and plentiful. A special shout-out for the raw bar - absolutely fresh clams, oysters and shrimp. Three kinds of salmon lox were a very nice touch. And the tiny desserts were a perfect ending to a delicious meal. A special thank you to the staff who made sure that plates were cleared quickly, and special requests taken care of. it was a delightful experience and meal!

Food was really off last night. One person had the short rib and was unable to finish as the glaze was overly salty. Other person ordered the haddock cioppino and was told 10 minutes after ordering that there was no haddock but he could have extra seafood??? The broth was more like a marinara sauce. Other person had the steak frites and asked for medium - the outside was overcooked and half of them were overdone on the inside.....Server was great and this was too bad as we were taking a friend to dinner who had not been before and was looking forward to trying it.

Upon entering the lobby the first thing our eyes fell on was the exquisitely decorated dessert table and buffet. The ambience was excellent. The buffet was highly pleasing with a wide variety of perfectly prepared meats, side dishes, condiments, et all. We returned to the buffet for seconds and thirds! The variety of desserts enabled us to taste of several different flavors of confections. Service was excellent. The dining room was comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed our Easter Dinner at Samuel's immensely. Thank you so much.

I had high expectations for this place. It was average at best. I made a note on my reservation that we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday, expecting at least a greeting from our server (there was none). I asked for a steak knife from a wait staff, he gave me another dinner knife, the same as the one I already had. The server didn’t come to check on us after we got our food. The people we interacted with were not rude or bad, they just did not seem pleasant. It felt like an unhappy place.
