The Coaches Room honoring past and present Notre Dame coaches is an intimate private room and seats up to 16. The Malpass Room named after Scott Malpass, Vice President and Chief Investment Officer, University of Notre Dame, seats up to 10. Our Upper level also offers a larger private dining area with seating up to 50. The lower level private dining rooms can accommodate up to 150 with a private bar. Food and service were excellent. We were slightly underdressed but treated excellent. Definitely recommend this restaurant

We were sat almost immediately, no wait. The wait staff was professional and made us comfortable at our table. Shay was our waitress and she was very lovely. We ordered our drinks and got them in a timely manner. We also got bread which was cooked perfectly. However; when it came time to ordering, that’s when we ran into some issues. We informed Shay that we were all vegan/vegetarian. She took note of it and was very sweet. When our food came, the hash browns that we ordered came with bacon on top of them. Also, we weren’t informed that the mushrooms we ordered were covered in veal. We told the wait staff and it was corrected and the food was changed. However, the food that was brought out to us was burnt on the outside and not cooked on the inside. This was one of our guests’ first time going there and usually the manager comes around to see first time guests, we were very disappointed with our experience. I’ve been going for years and have never had a bad experience until yesterday. Hopefully this note will serve as a reminder to take allergies and dietary restrictions more seriously. Thank you.

Our experience here, per usual, did not disappoint. A lesson that I learned with ordering a thinner steak is that it still continues to cook on the hot dish and turned my medium rare into a succulent medium. To be clear it was delicious but missed on the beautiful pink middle that I was looking forward to. Management followed up with me on the concern and offered a desert dish to even out the experience even though it had no real negative affect on our experience. Much credit given to my wife's fillet that was not only tasty but also was cooked to perfection and the absolute perfect pink throughout answering her desire.

Food was OK……May 24 •Steak ordered medium well …came medium rare NOT properly seared to seal in juices/flavor….. *Loaded “hash browns”…..NOT so loaded. Bill around $230.00 even/gratuity around $280.00….. • Went to same Ruth Chris’ March 31……MUCH better experience
