We have been here several times to celebrate family events and tonight was by far the worse experience of them all. First, the hostess felt my daughter’s attire was not up to their dress code, so we were sat in the bar area instead of the dining room with no one explaining the situation to us. They just kept us waiting until after our reservation time and just sat us in the bar area. I thought this was interesting bc we saw several other people who had on more revealing outfits not to mention one of the hostess had on a very short tight skirt. It was handled very poorly. We come back here time and time again bc of the wonderful service. Tonight, we had to ask a manager for water refills which we only got once. We ordered a tomahawk steak and usually it is brought out, presented, sliced, and then served. Tonight, it was just sat in front of the person that ordered it. Some of the sides were on the cold side and again no refills. Everyone has a bad day, but when people are spending $400 on a dinner and celebrating a big milestone for a family member, the management needs to be more attentive and aware of the waitstaff. There was a big difference between the bar side and the dining room side which is really unfortunate. Don’t think we will be back, but if we do, we will make sure that we try and wear what they deem appropriate so that our reservation for the dining room can be honored.

One of the best meals this year, and maybe a long time before that. Excellent food, excellent attentive service and the restaurant was wonderfully quiet. No unwanted music. No people talking loudly. Could not even hear the people at the next table. All-in-all, a delightful experience.

Our server (Kate) was awesome! She recommended a cocktail my wife loved. She was always available to refresh my martini and check to ensure our needs were met. The filets were delicious as well as our sides. After finishing our dinner we were full and unable to order dessert. Kate sent us home with a delicious chocolate molten cupcake! We will ALWAYS visit Ruth’s Chris when we visit Savannah!

Excellent from Nakeema at hostess station to Josh our server. Josh went above and beyond every step of our dining experience. The food was beyond excellent and the anniversary celebration was super thoughtful! Thank you Savannah Ruth Chris team.

We came up to Savannah just to get away from home for a day or two, made an early reservation (4pm) for our first time and it was divine. There were no other patrons yet so we had a lovely private dining experience for most of our dinner. I loved that- I’ll definitely repeat this “happy accident” in the future. Over all, we had the best experience at Ruth’s Chris Steak House for our first time ! Louis was our server and he was AWESOME ! I had the wedge salad (pictured) my husband had the Cesar. Both were delicious! For our entree we each chose an 11oz filet (pictured) mine was blue rare, Pittsburg style (VERY crispy seared exterior with a melt in your mouth center. Try it, I dare ya !). We tried several of the family style a la carte sides just to get a feel for this place and finished out the meal with their delicious crème brûlée (also pictured). We have a steakhouse like this in our area and I enjoy going there (Marks Prime). I must say, Ruth’s Chris beats MP hands down in the steak department ! This filet was melt in your mouth tender and cooked to perfection with only their basic (requested by me) salted butter. My husband had a filet medium, with garlic butter. He said “This is a perfect steak”. We may forgo Marks from now on just to enjoy our steaks in Savannah. As for the sides, they were good but not “over the top good” like our steaks. They were all cooked well and over all it was a very delicious meal ! The creme brûlée was PERFECTION ! Definitely try it if you like a sweet treat. Over all, I would say it was a wonderful place to dine. I will probably be back many times in the future as we come back and forth to Savannah. The prices definitely reflect the experience and the food. Not a “cheap date” place at all. But, if you’re into fine dining and elevated experiences, I highly recommend this place.
