The food was delicious, the people who brought out the food were amazing and very nice (different from your server). Our server was nice, but we waited a long time for soda refills and our boxes for the left overs. It didn't seem very busy and she also had a helper that would come by and fill waters and so on, she seemed a little "stuck up"... I hate using that term, but she really did act like she was too good for the job ) : I would compare this to Morton's, but Morton's cajun ribeye beats anyone's ribeye hands down. Pricey, but good. Overall it was a good experience.

The cocktail sauce for for shrimp cocktail is the best in Sacramento. The chipotle aioli on the crab cakes was a phenomenal suggestion from our waitress. Highly recommended the blackberry sidecar beverage if you want something a little fruity and their raspberry espresso martini was a great way to end my meal.

We went to celebrate a milestone birthday. Excellent service, including a lovely low-key recognition of the special day (no singing, thankfully--tasteful birthday confetti on tablecloth, "happy birthday" greeting by our wonderful server, "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate on (complimentary birthday) dessert plate). Our food was excellent--steaks cooked perfectly, terrific crabcake appetizer. Service was outstanding. Highly recommend!

We recently dined to celebrate my son’s birthday. The pro’s: excellent service, delicious steak (filet mignon and T-bone) and salmon. The con’s: sea bass that seemed gristly, high price. My husband did not want to call attention to his disappointing meal as it was a celebratory event.

Food can’t be beat. When we arrived I asked if we could have a booth but we were told they were all taken, did notice at least one of them was still open when we left, disappointed about that. Mocktail ok but way too many mint leaves! About a third of the glass! Couldn’t taste the blueberries in the drink! My grandson and I both had the fillets, they were done to perfection and very tender. The crab cake appetizer was good but I prefer McCormick and Schlick, I’m an East Coast gal where crab cakes have less filling and more crab, not so mushy. My grandson does not eat “ green” but after I coaxed him to at least try the spinach he asked if he could take the leftovers home with him. The Mac and cheese was amazing, enough for 4 people, very creamy, again, leftovers for grandson. Did not care for bread pudding, it was too spicy and dry, needed a sauce, whipped cream or ice cream on it. Grandson said mine is 10x better! Actually, for a birthday, I think a cake of some kind would be more appreciated. I don’t think I should have had to ask for a slice of lemon for water 3 times and water glass was never filled up. Maybe they were short on waiters and bus boys the night we were there. Our waitress was very sweet as well as bus boys. Wondered why they needed 3, at times 4 people at the reservation desk? I will return as I love the food here and figure they were probably short on wait service that night.

Service was great as was the Caesar Salad. However, the steak and baked potato were not of the quality we anticipated from our past experiences at Ruth Chris. Bread pudding was a disappointing choice also. Very dry - needed to be warmed more thoroughly and whipped cream should have been added.

I love the steak that was just done right. Christine, the server was wonderful. I know her for a long time. I am glad she took care of us well. However, the price went to up significantly.....

For the most part all things were fine except the waitresses messed up and possibly my part for not better explaining that we wanted the priz fix meal so we ended up having to send back the 11 oz filet for the smaller 6oz and small lobster tail So we had to wait sometime to get het meal back and then the steak was undercooked so. They gave us a free desert but that is a small consultation to having the meal feel very disjointed.

We were welcomed by many people at the door sat right away everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Waitress and assistant were great. Waitress was knowledgeable about the story of the founder and was very helpful and walked us through the menu. And recommended wine when we told her what we like. The food was good but not worth the price. Maybe a choice for dinner for two meal like black angus.

We have been going to RC for years and at locations across the USA. Over the past two years we have noticed a serious drop in the quality and level of service. The plates have become smaller -- smaller salads, smaller appetizers, and the steaks have increase in fat content. The prices have skyrocketed. The other night at the Pavillions, three people; two cocktails and one glass of wine, one bowl of soup, one shared appetizer, two Caesar salads, two ribeyes and one NY strip, three desserts. With a good tip (not a percentage tip) we were at just shy $500. That is crazy expensive. Had we gone to Ella's Dining Room, we'd be at $350 and I consider that to be expensive. The ribeyes had way too much fat. Service was sub-par at best. I doubt we will be returning to RC, end of a good long era of great food.

The only negative I can cite is the young man clearing the table was a little too zealous. I felt like we had to hold onto our plates if we weren’t done.!

We enjoyed our visit to Ruth’s Chris, service was excellent with staff, especially Julia, food was great with the exception of our T-bone steak, it was salty and honestly tasted like liver. Atmosphere was great as well.

I made a reservation it was my husband and mine anniversary I specifically asked for a romantic table they sat next to the kitchen 😡! They threw cheap heart confetti on the table. my husband and I are fine diners the inside of that restaurant needs an entire overhaul the carpet is disgusting the drapery is tired . The prices vs the atmosphere don’t add up . The scalloped potatos were under seasoned with a blob of cheese. I ordered fillet & Lobster the lobster was over cooked and over seasoned with Paprika. The asparagus were good . My husband had the cowboy ribeye and he was pleased. Let me be clear we will NEVER go back . The worst anniversary dinner complete disappointment!! So this was the first time for my wife and I and alongside that we were celebrating our eight year anniversary. Lena was our server, and she was very attentive along with patient with our questions, and always made sure we were doing well and satisfied with everything look forward to coming back again.

Our first time dinning here and our waitress Diana went above and beyond for us. All the food we ordered did not disappoint from the appetizers to dinner and sides. I would recommend the calamari, spicy shrimp, Caesar salad, steaks and garlic smashed.
