I loved the food and service but it was gnats flying all around our table. Felt like I was under attack. Even had to replace our Mac and cheese because the gnats got it. Couldn’t fully enjoy the food from fanning gnats away!

Celebrating my daughter’s 13th birthday. We were seated in the bar/lounge area by 8:40p and didn’t receive service until 9:06pm. At one point I flagged someone down to ask who our server was and he politely offered water and said he’d find out who it was… then we waited some more. Finally I flagged another person down and asked for the manager. I asked if we could be served the manager said “oh no one has been here?”. I said “no and we’ve been seated here for 20 mins.” (Note: It was not busy). He leaves and finally our guy comes back. He was exceptional so I feel bad for not being able to give higher marks on service. I was disappointed we weren’t offered a discount or something complimentary as is customary when time to be served takes that long. I frequently visit steak houses exclusively for the quality of service and to date this was one of the worst aside from our waiter who again was 10/10 once he started to serve us. Maybe it was an off day. You’d think with there being so many competitors in Houston R.C’s would be on their A game. I can’t imagine going back :(

Celebrated our anniversary here on a Thursday night. They decorated our table with rose petals and gave us a nice anniversary greeting card! Food was superb, we ordered from the pre-fixed menu which was IMO very affordable for steak and lobster or steak and shrimp, a starter and a side and dessert!👍🏼 The restaurant was so quiet, almost too quiet. We found out later the sound system was not working. Overall our dinner was experience was great!

We waited 40 minutes and finally flagged down a helper as a waiter had not come to our table. The manager apologized for the error and assigned a waiter to our table. The quality of our filets were not as good as it was in previous years. The manager did not return to our table to see how we were doing. It was our anniversary celebration and quite disappointing. We did receive a substantial discount. I don't think we want to return mostly because of the quality of the steaks.

I was shocked what this restaurant has become. People were dressed like they were at a pool party. The service from the very beginning, was awful. We were begging for service, whether to fill our water or tea, remove dirty dishes or even if we needed anything. NEVER again, there are too many great steak restaurants in this city. What a shame.

I wasn’t really impressed with the food. I had to send my steak back to the kitchen because it wasn’t cooked properly. They did cook it properly the second time but it had a funny taste like they added beef bullion to it or something like I said not really impressed.

Delicious as always. One steak was overcooked but I decided to eat it. They've changed breads and the new bread is awful, course texture and hard/tough. Very disappointed. Caesar salad was not up to par. This review is comparing my meal in Houston to the one in North Dallas (which is my primary Ruth's Chris).

We went to celebrate a family member's birthday. We were so pleased with the whole experience. Our waitress La Keisha was very good. We hope she is there the next time we come. We each had a petite filet and each was very good. The restaurant was quiet as opposed to other places where it is so loud that it is hard to talk to each other. Also the seating was nicely spaced so I didn't feel like I was on top of other people. We have been to another well known steak house down the road 2 times and both had been somewhat disappointing. Ruth's Chris made the birthday very special by the excellent service, atmosphere, and food. We will be back for other special occasions

Celebrated our 2nd year wedding anniversary. The table was decorated with a personalized card. Our server, Jose, was amazing. He had a great personality and sense of humor. We didn’t have to wait long for our dinner and dessert had a personalized touch as well. The food was cooked to perfection!!! Thank you RC for making our dinner special.

I made reservations for Friday table 106 on Monday 8:3pm. When I got there they didn’t even have my table I asked for I even put it in the comments when I made the reservation. It was another table similar to mines and we couldn’t sit there cause…SOMEONE HAD RESERVATIONS!! …that’s craaaaazzzyyyy!! The waitress was really nice and she made my date and I night better, but I don’t remember her name (Ayooba) sorry if I’m saying it wrong. This is my favorite place to eat and I pay really well and tip, so I would like the table I asked for 4 days in advance.

It was good but we were given a to go dessert for my wife's birthday instead of it on a plate with a candle like the other guests who's birthday it was which upset my wife greatly. Food was good.

Only problem we had was the Birthday setting!! They just put anything cause they was out of the birthday card and the lil birthday stuff for the table !! But the manager on duty apologized and gave us free dessert!!! See yall next year

I was very dissatisfied with the service today, I brought my mom here for her birthday as she had never been and she was pleased with the food but our waiter left us hanging? He didn’t take our plates when we were done with our food until maybe 20 or so minutes later, it wasn’t until I walked to the bar to ask another gentleman to just bring us the check once he brought the check the other guy took up the plates and claims that the original server was trying to get my moms cake which we just ended up taking to go because this was taking to long especially for it not be so busy at that time, it last a bad taste in her mouth as well as mine

It was my wife’s birthday and our first time to Ruth Chris. Everything from the host to the wait staff and food was incredible. We honestly can’t think of a problem. Definitely will be doing dinner again at Ruth Chris. Awesome job

We've eaten at Ruth's Chris for over 40 years in various cities nationwide, from New York City to Hawaii to Houston. The food is always of high quality and comes to the take hot. The bread pudding is to die for.

I haven’t been here since before the pandemic. I can’t believe how much things have changed here and how the service has changed. I chose to come here for my birthday because it’s my number one steakhouse and I’ve been several times in different cities. I arrive me and my wife we are greeted with a smile and she lit up the room with hello welcome in and so on. I should’ve turned around and left at that moment because the minute she turned us over to the lady that was bringing us to our seats it was down hill from there. The lady says hello we start to follow her and I were going to the main dining area that’s completely empty other than one other family she brings us to some table directly next to a door that the staff is coming in and out of. I was like your bringing us back here and why she looked at me like What set our menus on the table and stormed off. I decided to stay it’s my birthday and I came to have a good dinner and then the waitress comes and greet us she ask a few questions tell her to bring some water and that takes twenty five minutes. She comes back we order a cocktails and appetizers and the drinks come back in fifteen minutes and some other guy brings the appetizers to the table. I don’t see the waitress for another Thirty minutes so we’ve been here over an hour and haven’t even been able to order our dinner. The waitress finally comes back from where I don’t know because it’s not a lot of people in the restaurant and I say could you please take our order she puts it in the food comes my wife mashed potatoes are cold my steak is not cooked the correct way the shrimp is not right. I get there attention to see if they can fix things and that didn’t work at this time we are two hours in and the manager finally comes over because I said take all that cold under cook stuff off my tab and that’s when he kicks into super manager let me fix it for you let me prepare everything for you and so on. The Service Was Horrible AND I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!!
