My reservation was set for 5pm, I arrived around 4:30pm. Even though I was early the staff accommodated me. My original table was near the main entrance and I asked to move to another table and they fulfilled my request with no problem. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. My server Alyssa was delightful. She recommended certain menu items, my food was delicious and service was impeccable. I definitely recommend Ruth Chris on West End/ Nashville.

Elijah was an outstanding server. He made my dad’s 70th birthday very special. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, food, and overall experience. We plan to return.

Our first visit to Ruth's Chris in Nashville was for Mother's Day, 2024. It lived up to it's reputation. Our cocktails were served quickly and tasted great, the service was perfect, attentive but not overly so. Our steaks were done to perfection with all the sides and condiments requested. We look forward to returning.

Ordered an 11oz filet and ribeye as well, steaks were ordered medium rare and came out well done. They were sent back and came back with no flavor, and were just as done. For a meal that expensive the steak should be superb. This meal was a sheer disappointment!

Over all, the food was simply not worth the price. We both had the 11oz fillet and shrimp. The shrimp was overcooked and rubbery, the steaks were undercooked, tasteless and mine was full of gristle. I’d say 1/3 of mine was inedible. The garlic mashed potatoes were ok, but nothing to write home about. The Cesar salads were excellent as was the goat cheese artichoke dip. Our server was great. For 250.00 for two people, I could have made a much better meal at home.

I come from a rural community and its fair to understand steak really well. Ordered the specialty new york strip which is often interchanged with sirloin in the uk Steak cooked as asked but it was rubbery, tough and clearly hadn’t been hung for as long as it could be. Mentioned to the waiter, was offered an alternative but was starving.. Although wasnt even asked if food was ok until i got one of their attention. Was charged full price, poor all round

We have been to the Nashville Ruth’s Chris several times for our anniversary & several other ones across the country. Never disappointed, always get a filet, best steak I have ever had, always very tasty, tender & juicy. Service is always great, N’ville has valet parking, sweet. It is on the expensive side, but worth it occasionally.

Hannah was AMAZING! It was a date that ended up being solo because my boyfriend’s flight got delayed. Hannah was kind, attentive and wonderful. I would definitely come back every time I’m in Nashville. The food was excellent and the wine was incredible.

Our waitress did an outstanding job serving our table. The food was cooked as requested and was very delicious. The staff was continually checking to see if we needed anything. Enjoyed by all six of our party. Look foward to returning.

My son said it was the best steak he ever had. Service was a disappointment, they brought our steak without ever bringing appetizer and salad we had ordered. They did comp us two deserts, but still, steakhouse service at this level for this price should be impeccable.

The steaks were overcooked. Our server never came to check on us after the food was delivered. I finally found a manager and had him come over and look at my steak and he totally agreed that it was over cooked. No one ever checked on us again until the bill was delivered and at that point we were just ready to leave.

This was my first time attending a Tastemakers event, but not Ruth Chris. I love the environment, the people, the food, and the wine. I have already signed up for all events in the future. I would love to be invited to any surprise events in the future.

We have been to Ruth's Chris on several occasions in several different cities, and the consistently excellent experience continues to bring us back. That being said, it has been a few years since we've been to this location, and this experience was certainly an outlier. My steak was overcooked and my wife got the Oscar topping for hers...and the crab cake tasted overly fishy as if maybe it wasn't as fresh as it should be. I don't mind paying up for a fantastic steak...but at $71 for a 16oz ribeye I would hope it would be significantly better than what I could make myself at home. In this case it was not. Maybe this was just an off night...but I would hesitate before making this reservation again.

The food was great , especially the steaks, I had the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly! Our server was very nice and consistently asked us how things were and if we needed anything. That’s A+ service in my book. The food is a little pricey but the product was excellent.

Service very slow and forgetful s constant reminders were needed. Food quality not great. Steaks wrong temperature, sides (au gratin, brussel sprouts) underwhelming. Not sure what happened to them over the years. This is not what I remember and at this price level there are many credible choices in Nashville.

Aside from the icy welcome from the hostess, our server was THE BEST! Our food was good and paired wonderfully with the wines! This was a business dinner and I had to return a few days later for the receipt. The hostess seemed irritated with my request so I didn't expect much. However, I was appreciative of the quick turnaround from the chef who emailed me the receipt.

The food and service were great. The temperature of the room was the problem. It was VERY cool almost cold. The table next to us was fortunate as they brought their coats in. We had sweaters on but it was too cold to really enjoy the dining experience. Thank you Bill

My wife and I have always been big fans, and have gone for just about every special occasion. It has been a while since we’ve gone to Ruths Chris. I feel like it has really gone downhill, valet was awful, and the food was just not very good. The server was excellent.

Actually had a quick dinner since we had to fit in between end of work day and tickets at TPAC. Valet parking and an accommodating waitress got us an enjoyable dinner and to our play on time. Hated to leave the leftovers but they would have spoiled in the car.

The food and service was spectacular. This is my husband's favorite restaurant. It was my husband's birthday so l surprised him. Our 2 young children joined us as well. We were all very pleased. Ruth Chris never disappoints. The food was superb and our waitress was fantastic.

The overall experience left a great deal to be desired. This once stellar steakhouse has seen better days and the cavalier hostess and unimpressive staff did nothing to make you feel welcome or encourage you to return. The steaks were good although not cooked to order and the valet went MIA for some time.

Delicious food from start to finish. Spicy shrip appetizer was indeed slightly spicy and very flavorful. Steaks cooked just as ordered, in this case exactly medium. Tender, juicy, and a flavorful crust complimenting the flavor of the beef. Garlic mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth with the perfect amount of flavor without being to powerful. Lobster mac and cheese was buttery and rich, full of cheese. Great staff. Clean and comfortable seating. The music was a smidge too loud but I wasn't eating that!

I absolutely love this Ruth's Chris. The service was amazing. Our waitress was a young girl. I think her name was Danielle. She was amazing, attentive, and had great personality. The decor was standard RC decor. No complaints there. 👌🏽 Now for the food. It was the same greatness as all RC foods. I've never been disappointed and it won't start here. My salad was ginormous. I was full just from it but I pushed thru and tried my best to eat my steak, spinach, and potatoes. I failed miserably but boy did I try. It was all just so good. Then, to top it all off, they now an oreo crusted chocolate cheesecake 😋 God blessed that cheesecake cause we ate it in under 5 minutes. If you want a great experience all around, you will find it at any RC steakhouse you find. I have always and will continue to always patronize RC.
