Every time at dine at Ruth's Chris Steak House is a special treat. The service is always superb and the food phenomenal. I grew up in Nebraska and I know filet mignon at Ruth's Chris will be cooked to perfection. They have excellent seafood dishes, salads, and side dishes as well. Plus a nice selection of wines by the glass and/or bottle, and cocktails.

Zay was an awesome waiter and the entire staff anticipated our every need. Several asked how our meal and evening was going. Management also engaged us at appropriate times to inquire about our experience.

We typically rate the service five stars but had a few issues with that last night and mentioned to the manager that this was atypical. He graciously listened to our concerns. We like Ruth's Chris because of the consistency of food and service and will definitely keep coming back. The 4:00-6:00 p.m. Happy Hour is excellent!

Food we’d good as usual waiter did his very best to accommodate every request but the hostess was obviously (t least I would hope having a bad day the table across from me had a little boy around 8 years old who wore a ball cap and was reminded to take it off a couple of time finally at the end he put it back on as he was walking out and very large intimidating hostess started hollering that she told him four times terrified child and when parents said we are on our way out she berated them and from my table I could see her with her finger in the face of the child’s parents( you can eat somewhere else ) I am talking about a scene my elderly mother out for Mother’s Day was completely amazed at behavior

The steak flavor was good but not spectacular & not cooked to my request The mashed potatoes were tasteless and had a mealy texture. The shrimp was overcooked. The service was very good & when we voiced our opinion about the potatoes they brought us their au gratin potatoes free of charge. The bill including tip was $220-IMHO it was not worth the price

Steaks were cooked perfectly. Good sides. Bisque was good, wish they had French onion or another choice. Not a cheap night out but you know that making reservations.

It was our anniversary had an excellent experience. We were welcomed with confetti on the table. Rhett our server was great , very attentive and gave great advice about various items. We ended our evening with a complimentary delicious crème brûlée with a happy anniversary written in chocolate on the plate. Thank you!!

I loved how our steaks was charred and the manager right way got our steaks corrected, explained how that could have happened but it was alright correct with no problem. Polite conversation enjoyed my food and drinks will be back

We are regulars, understandably this review is a bit askew because we know what to expect...but...dang if the team didn't elevate the bar higher. Cassandra was our bar tender and Brendan was our server for an annual Anniversary Dinner. They were on point. BRendan checked in on us just enough and had some great suggestions of things to try as we contemplated what to have for the evening. Cassandra knows I enjoy an extra cherry in my predinner cocktail and took the time to come over and ask about "our story". This personalization was evident at all the other tables, so it wasn't like we were royalty; the staff at Ruth's is just that genuine! We prefer the bar area ambiance and it just made for a very pleasant dinner experience. The Steak House Salad still is a treat, but we tried the Creme Brule for the first time in a while...will definitely have to have that again...though I was torn on the AWESOME cheesecake...I just had to try something new to share.

We used love the tastemaker dinners. This most recent one was still great, but the large tables impeded on the ability to chat with the guests you came with. We did not like the large tables of 8 people for the wine dinners. It was so much nicer when you dinned at 4 tops that accommodated one’s group size. Food was magnificent!

Excellent pairing of wines to menu. The Zinfandel was exceptionally good as were the scallops and filet. Dessert course would have been improved with coffee but it was never offered.

Our waiter, Scott Adams ,was awesome. He told us about his favorite remoulade sauce for our shrimp cocktail and brought us a ramekin of it to taste. Made some great suggestions on the filet too. We had a great time!

I come to Minneapolis for an annual conference and this is one of the restaurants that pop up to the top when I search for restaurants. The food and service are excellent. I ordered spicy shrimp, grilled sprouts, and classic brûlée. They taste amazing! Also, even though I booked a seat at the bar but when I got to the Rey, there is no available seats at that time and they are very flexible to place me at a table! It is even better! Thank you!

Excellent dinner once again! Ruth Chris is always accommodating. I made my reservation a little too late to get to our show in time. They found a way to squeeze us in 15 minutes early which made a world of difference. This is my birthday spot and come every year and never disappointed. Jesse our waiter was fantastic. He even tried to make small talk with my 3year old granddaughter who is extremely shy. Thank you for once again giving me an excellent birthday dinner!

Had a very lovely, romantic evening with my wife at Ruth Chris the other night. The food was excellent, except for the very salty butter, which could have been used less aggressively. The service was excellent and, most unusual these days, the room was actually sufficiently quiet for us to speak with one another in a normal voice. We will definitely need to plan another tryst there again.

As always the best dining experience. Beginning with the seating, which is quiet, but you have a view of the room, prompt service, friendly servers that make you feel welcome. food was excellent beginning with the spicy shrimp and ended with the lamb chops always our go to restaurant. We celebrated my parents’ 65th wedding anniversary - Ruth’s Chris is a special place where we have had many memories over the years. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the staff was so caring towards my parents. It’s no wonder we keep coming back. Thank you, Minneapolis staff - you are the best!

One of my favorite steakhouses. They've never failed to disappoint me. I had lambchops which were broiled to perfection. The server was excellent as well. No complaints whatsoever.
