Le Ruth's Chris Steak House a été fondé à la Nouvelle-Orléans, en Louisiane, par Ruth Fertel, une mère célibataire de deux enfants qui rêvait d'une vie meilleure pour elle et ses deux fils. Elle y a donc acheté le steakhouse « Chris » qui comptait déjà 38 ans d'activité au cours des années précédentes. Après un incendie qui l'a conduite à se déplacer de l'adresse d'origine, elle rebaptisa son restaurant « Ruth's Chris ». Aujourd'hui, il existe plus de 140 restaurants Ruth’s Chris Steak Houses à travers le monde. Vous serez les bienvenus dans les tout nouveaux locaux de Marina Del Rey, en Californie.

    Ruth Chris is a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion. They always make you feel with sparkle on the table and a wonderful dessert plate. All this in addition to their great food and service. We love the marina Ruth Chris.

    Our 6th or 7th Anniversary celebration and so far as we can remember, it was the best. Our server Eric, although busy, made us feel as if we were the only ones he was helping. Including taking our picture, which I'm sure is not in his job description. The food, oh, my God, the food...perfectly cooked and ... well, my mouth is watering just thinking about it! Highly, highly recommend Ruth's Chris Steakhouse!

    Breonna was our server and she was phenomenal. She made suggestions regarding food choices and drinks. I definitely will be back.

    We had a great meal. The service was excellent and I will go again. Next time we will sit at a table. I’m 5’8” tall and sitting in the both the table was a bit high. Ok, let’s hear the short jokes, 😂. I felt like a kid needing to sit on a phone book. This is Not a complaint, just the facts like officer Friday used to say. Looking forward to going again.

    Requested outdoor seating and started our night off by being told no heaters available outside, so they recommend sitting inside. Which was totally fine! Then got to sit down inside and our waiter took our drink and appetizer order. Comes back 10 minutes later to tell us the drink we ordered was not possible due to shortage of ingredients. We switched up our drink and he asked if we’d like an appetizer. We made sure he put our appetizer in when he asked us the first time. He said no he didn’t so we ordered our new drinks and re-ordered our appetizer. Received our drinks that were a bit mixed up (the blue cheese olives were placed in my boyfriend’s drink instead of mine and he cannot stand blue cheese…ok oh well) we fixed our drinks and had a sip. To my surprise when I bit down, there was a pit in my olive! Ok, not their fault, but at this point, this experience is so bad so far. I brought my own bottle of wine and asked for it to be opened so it can sit and breath while I have my cocktail and wait for our main dish. I had to ask 3 times to just have the bottle opened. My boyfriend ordered a different, new drink since he doesn’t drink wine and it never came. We asked if the drink was coming and they brought the same drink we had initially…martini with blue cheese in it and he had ordered a Negroni! We said that’s not what we ordered and that we did not want the martini, as I had my wine and he’s so done with the blue cheese they keep putting in his drink, so they took it back and came back with a well made Negroni and just dropped the martini on our packed table and said drink it or don’t drink it, all good. But our table already had our meal and sides which made it a hassle to navigate around since we knew we didn’t want it. Ordered my steak medium, it was well done…I was so done sending things back or calling out issues, and it’s not like I hate well done, so I ate it. We’ve been coming here for years and it’s been a great experience except for the last 3 months.

    Ruth’s Chris had been the go to for a good steak in an elegant environment back in the day. Well, the Ruth’s Chris restaurant in Marina Del Rey was a rough & unfortunate experience! Confusion among the hostesses staff from the beginning… To a very clunky experience that included long waits, empty water glasses, and a LOT of looking around for our sweet, kind and over worked waiter.  I took someone out for a special occasion, he had never been… I left there embarrassed for the restaurant and I was disappointed that I could not provide my friend a better experience, I will not go back.

    The food was perfect as always. But the Brussels sprouts were not sweet, they didn’t put the glaze on for them to be slightly sweetened, that was my only issue.

    Everything was good except we couldn’t enjoy our Wedge Salad because there was more blue cheese the lettuce. Our server Kevin was a complete Jewel he helped to make our Anniversary very special.
