Le Ruth's Chris Steak House a été fondé à la Nouvelle-Orléans, en Louisiane, par Ruth Fertel, une mère célibataire de deux enfants qui rêvait d'une vie meilleure pour elle et ses deux fils. Elle y a donc acheté le steakhouse « Chris » qui comptait déjà 38 ans d'activité au cours des années précédentes. Après un incendie qui l'a conduite à se déplacer de l'adresse d'origine, elle rebaptisa son restaurant « Ruth's Chris ».     Came in for Mother’s Day. Asked our server for straws and she insisted for us to wait till she came back, 15 mins in we finally get our straws after I asked about them the 2nd time. She seemed to be lazy, not to hurt anyone’s feelings Our food was almost delivered to the table behind us. Before that, lobster balls almost incorrectly got delivered to my table. I ordered wine and it was delivered to my mother, whom been sober for 4 years. We were told to sit down instead of take a seat outside until being called in. We went to the restrooms and they stated they didn’t see us come back outside so that’s why we were last to be seated, but bigger parties went ahead of us and were seating before us when they arrived after us. The customer service was not the greatest. The food was okay. Will more than likely not be returning as we weren’t treated fairly.

    Staff were friendly, we sat in the very back which I assume isn’t used very often. A few glasses were dusty and the table clothes had crumbs, my sisters dish came out cold she sent it back to be warmed up it came back still room temperature instead of sending it back she kept it. Our server was mediocre and the lobster Mac n cheese had barely any cheese. Overall it was a med level dining experience

    Nice location upstairs at a shopping center in Marina Del Rey, beautiful inside as well. Only downsides were when our party of three requested a booth rather than being sat in a high traffic area we were told they were all unavailable and reserved? But we had a reservation and not only were they mostly vacant….throughout our lunch and by the time we left there were still many available. And as I was hoping to avoid, there was quite a bit and a constant flow of people walking by and close to our table, so much so that my chair was bumped into multiple times and mostly by our waiter? When our dishes and appetizers were removed fluid was spilled on my chair and it was seafood so I had to wipe it up myself and switch chairs with the one we weren’t using. So not the end of the world but not the level of service we normally get at other Ruth Chris’.

    Amazing experience overall. The server and every one involved made our time the best. Food was very good and well portioned.

    Our server Ammie was great . She was very attentive and did her upmost to accommodate us. I say that because our reservation was at 9:00 pm , when this location closes for any new guests. I loved that she informed us when the last call was for drinks and food. She made sure we placed our entrees in on time before the kitchen closed.
