Not worth the hype. Overpriced and overcooked steaks for all of us at dinner. Staff was very understanding in compensating us for the poor quality of food served.

We were there for our daughter’s college graduation. We had a lovely seat in the mezzanine. The service was TOP NOTCH! Food was amazing as usual! ❤️

Always EXCELLENT! Service is unapparelled when it comes to hospitality and attentiveness. Bryan our server is so gracious and accommodating. Of course the plates were gear as usual. The parmesan should was a real treat. Thank you Ruth's Chris - see you again soon.

My wife and I came to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The food, service, and surroundings were all excellent. My only critique is with my cowboy ribeye. It was prepared perfectly (medium rare) and the flavor was excellent. However, it was excessively gristly. To the point where it was very difficult to slice in areas of the cut where that shouldn't have been the case. Again, this had nothing to do with the preparation and seasoning, both of which were right on point. But I do feel that for an almost $80 menu item, and given Ruth's Chris' claim to fame regarding their prime beef, the quality of this cut was sub-par. Which for a fine dining restaurant, equates to a failing grade in that regard.

It was another great RC experience. The service was perfect, the drinks, food (filet and salad) and ambience were great, and everything went as we have come to expect from this outstanding chain. Kudos to all at RC and of course, we’ll be back! Keep up the great work!!

We normally really enjoy Ruth Chris. Our steak was extremely fatty and very under cooked and the sides that we really liked in the past were average at best. Hopefully this was just an off day?

The food and service was outstanding. We were surprised when we walked in, we were dressed up and ready for an experience. It was not the experience that we were expecting. I think I was the only one in the room with a tie on. I did not feel comfortable in the oversized chairs. Other than the great food prep it felt like we were sitting in a Denny's restaurant.

The quality of our food & service wasn’t just good, it was ‘perfect’. These were the words of our amazing servers Brian & Ian when they checked on us, “is everything perfect?” And it was! And so were they! My 21 & 23 year old were treated so professionally. I was so impressed. There was also a spectacular host named Kennedy who visited our table a 2-3 times who was especially nice to us topping off our evening. We could ask for no more. WE WILL be back! Thanks for an incredible evening.

We got sat at a table, waiter came over almost immediately and asked what we wanted and we ordered drinks, and then nothing. No one came to table for over 32 minutes. We left went across the street and had a great experience. Save yourself go to the Chop House.

We were first seated in a remote room by ourselves. I complained and we were moved to the main dining room. We have been going here for years and the service has always been top-shelf. Maybe because it is spring break for MI this week, but our server was well below standard. He did not open our bottle of wine at the table and when it did arrive I had cork in my wine. The steaks as always were very good but the service was a real distraction to an otherwise wonderful evening.

Simply, there are better steaks in Grand Rapids at a better price point. I don’t mind spending that kind of money for a meal, but I expect an amazing meal in return and it was just mediocre.

We had a great experience. Food was cooked perfectly. Our waiter, Kurt, was excellent!

Our family dined at Ruth’s Chris for Easter. We had Salmon, Shrimp, Scallops and SeaBass. All of the seafood was prepared to perfection. The accompaniments are large portions and can be shared.

We go to Ruth’s Chris once a year for my wife and I birthday. First off we sat next to the entrance it the weather was cold out so a consistent draft, our fault for not saying a thing from the get go. Our server we barely saw little to no attention from them. The assistant we saw more but still someone different brought out our salad, our steaks and our dessert. We never received bread or was asked if we wanted any. They next swept yes the crumbs from our table or straighten things up before the next course. The steaks where made correctly but the sides seem to be getting smaller, almost to the point of not be shareable anymore. We have high expectations since we have been there multiple times. This visit was absolutely the worst we have experienced. A complete let down to our birthday celebration together, our date night out from the children as well as being a higher cost dinning. The amount of servers working we definitely should have had better service.
