First time here. Place is about 1/4 full. 6:30 Sunday evening. Were soda drinkers, took 10-15 min to get refills even after we placed our empties at the end of the table so easy to see our drinks are empty. Server would walk by our table minimum 3x and do nothing... disappointing. Ribeye steak my wife and I both had was tougher and stringier then expected... 6 out of 10. With tip our bill was $289 again no alcohol. The Keg Rib steak is tastier, juicier, allot more tender for half the price. We did enjoy the quietness of this place. My wife and I both would recommend The Keg for half the price, better service and better food. When your prices are this high your expectations must go way up. Unfortunately we were underwhelmed, maybe an off night but never the less wont be running back.

Exceeded high expectations. Excellent food, as expected but the highest of praises was for our waitress, Aggy. Aggy was exceptional, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and skillfully guided us through a lovely evening.

This is our second or third time recently, the service is very good. The mains and the sides are ordered separately. We have Salmon and a filet with brocolli and brussel sprout for sides. Everything was very tasty. Our meal was about $350.00. It was a very good meal, may not the best we've had in Edmonton but this restaurant does a great job, we will keep it our rotation.

We had a birthday dinner with five in our party. They had some birthday decor and a card on the table when we arrived. We enjoyed appetizers, steaks, salads and desert. Be prepared to be full! Everything was cooked to perfection and was nice and hot. This isn’t an inexpensive meal but they do provide a premium experience for your investment!

The food is expensive but it’s a treat. However the server we had was not great…its a shame as when you go for an expensive meal, I expect the service would be top notch. However the people who cleared the table was awesome.

We had an anniversary meal here, it was something to remember…. Remember why we don’t dine at place like this. Obviously the wait staff were phenomenal with absolutely zero issues very attentive staff. The restaurant itself is very nice, quiet and pleasant to be in. Not much more to say on the building portion of the review. Parking available right beside the restaurant. The food is where we have the main issue. We had ordered two steaks, a filet and a ribeye. Now I preface these next parts by saying we own a smoker at home and if you’ve ever slow smoked a steak and seared it off nothing compares in tenderness and flavour. The fillet was ordered medium well and it came out more well. The ribeye was ordered medium rare and came out more rare which wasn’t a large deal for myself otherwise I would have sent it back and gave them the opportunity to fix it. The ribeye was unevenly cooked though, one side was medium rare while the other closer to blue with a strong visual line throughout. Honestly we didn’t feel like waiting for them to fire another fillet and try to cook one side of the ribeye. Flavour wise the steak was somewhere between meh and ok. I feel like any proper steakhouse always finish seasons their steaks before being sent out and these definitely weren’t. We enjoyed the sides though hence the 3 stars for food otherwise it would be a 2 based on the steaks. Harvest salad was decent, the fingerling potatoes were amazing and the carrots (from the seasonal menu) were also amazing. The potato’s had a very strong smokey/chili flavour and had a phenomenal exterior crisp. All in all this feels like another place where people place value on the experience more than flavour and let the dollar signs mute their taste buds and common sense. Because it’s an 80 dollar steak they feel like it was so much better meanwhile I’ve had equal steaks at any number of bbq chain restaurants.

Our steaks were a little undercooked, but they regrilled them and brought out fresh sides and free dessert! Lovely waitstaff but I’m not sure it was worth the price, the flavours weren’t the most significant but you might like it if you like clean, simple flavours.

Food and atmosphere is always outstanding. Our server Don, was fantastic and even made my kids feel important. Is definitely a pricey night out but always enjoy going.

Ruth's Chris as expected, steak cooked perfectly and lobster bisque with lots of lobster chunks. Sides were great and top-notch service from the team. Pricey but worth it!

Dining at Ruth's Chris is expensive! The extra care in preparation and product are evident, but we go there only for a very special event. Our server was attentive and the assisting staff were very efficient. Unfortunately, both the appetizer and entree that I initially ordered were unavailable. I wish I had been advised of this circumstance prior to placing my order. My wife's fillet was good, but not excellent as anticipated. My lamb chops were very flavorful but served medium, not medium rare as I had ordered. My onion soup was good, but again not excellent. I found it a little thin and not as rich a soup as anticipated. Our guests really enjoyed both of the shrimp appetizers that they ordered, and their steaks were done perfectly. The chocolate sin cake that we all had for dessert was superb. Cocktails were good, beer menu limited, and wine list very pricey. Sticker shock! We would return again for another special occasion, with cautious expectations. As an experience, I would rate this at 8.5/10. For value 7.5/10. For service 9.5?10

Visited Ruth's Chris Steak House as part of Edmonton's Downtown Dining event. Oh my, it was lovely! Service by Don was excellent with the assistance of the many assistants bringing food, filling up water glasses and seeing to our every wish and desire. The steak was to die for, thought the steak might be on the small side but I had trouble finishing the buttery-topped entree. Finished off with the banana cream pie; an individually made puff-pastry filled with banana cream and topped with sliced bananas torched to sweetness. We will return.

My best friend from Vancouver wanted to have the steak of his life and he got that at Ruth Chris Edmonton. The staff were very accommodating for he had issues with his eyesight. We were seated promptly at a very accessible table and from start to finish the service was excellent and the food, especially the petit ribeye that we each ordered, were amazing. All I wanted was my BFF to have a memorable experience and we got that. He can't wait to return.

Ruth's Chris likes to advertise itself as an elite steak house and it is. The steaks are top notch, service is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, and the surroundings are impeccable. This is not a "let's grab a few beers and nosh" restaurant. It is a place to go to for a quiet dinner with friends, family, and/or significant others. Yes, it is expensive but you will have a top tier dining experience in return.

Service was great, we had Aggie and did a great job. My steak came out way underdone ( asked for medium and was rare) but they fixed it quickly.
