Waitress was not as attentive as we’ve grown a custom to receiving. Late on wine delivery and forgot sorbet order all together.

Rudy and Paco is our favorite restaurant. The food and service is always amazing. The crab bisque is delicious and their scallops are the best. So many wonderful dishes. Come often and try them all!

This is a first class restaurant with delicious food and wonderful service! It has been our favorite dining spot in Galveston for years and never disappoints. From the plaintains served when you fist sit to the last sip of coffee before you start for home - wow - it always meets or exceeds expectations every single time.

Excellent in every regard - food, atmosphere, service. Remarkable that the owner, Paco, is so attentive and even helps deliver food and greets every table. One of the best restaurants we have been to in years. Not the most expensive, just the best.

It’s been a few years since we’ve eaten at Rudy & Paco’s but thankfully nothing has changed! The food is still deliciously prepared and served and the service is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Food good just not as good as in February. We should have asked not to sit by large table but didn't. soon it was filled with a large company group, with loud people explaining personal issues like biopsies, and other details we didn't need to hear. Rather stressing time.

Overall a really good experience. I had been before but wanted my partner to experience the classy atmosphere too. He was very impressed. I love how the servers present the food altogether. The service overall is impeccable and the tall man in the dark suit helping out and greeting people is perfect at his job. Our server was a little off this evening I thought. She said it had been a long day. We enjoyed the plantains and salads were delicious and fresh, placed our order and after a while she came over to ask if we were ready to order and we reminded her we already had. Our meals were delicious and we enjoyed the wonderful special bottle of Pinot Noir that was offered. After desert we got ready to leave and partner paid with his credit card and I paid for another bottle of wine to go. We got to our car and realized our cards had not been returned in the sleeve of the check presenter so we went back and the doors were locked for closing. Called the number and it went straight to VM. After a short wait we saw someone leave from the back door and they were able to let us in to retrieve our cards before leaving. We enjoyed our visit along with the ambiance and look forward to returning. It feels like old school fine dining which we really enjoyed.

When the owner greets you at the door and makes sure that you are attended to, you can be pretty sure that your experience will be good. The restaurant was very professional as well as having a personal touch, and our wheelchair needs were thoughtfully accommodated.

Ceviche, poblano soup and red snapper were incredible. Service from Amber, Andy and the rest of the team was top notch. Will return on our next trip to Galveston.

There are so many good things about Rudy and Paco’s, but yesterday’s food did not impress. The empanadas were not good, I could get better ones from Costco, to be honest. The snapper was an excellent quality fish, as was the crab meat, but they covered it with waaaaay too much sauce, you could barely taste it. The quality of the salad was about the same as McDonald’s. Dessert was decent, but the drinks were very good. Ambience and service was awesome, I will say. But the price tag with the quality of food did not match. I understand that this restaurant is not in Houston, but with that price tag, it should have been the same level of quality. Disappointing.

Food was substandard, I ordered Red Snapper but was not sure what I was served but it wasn’t Red Snapper, the sauce tasted like A1 Steak Sauce, my wife’s shrimp was very tough, the “award winning”bread pudding was average at best and the ice cream was generic. Service and atmosphere was very nice but the food was poor!

As always, Rudy and Paco’s never fails at every corner. From the moment you walk in, you’re automatically thrown into nothing but the best. Everyone’s very friendly, making sure you have everything you need without waiting. The food is absolutely wonderful, including the delivery. My wife and I love this place, and look forward to more visits.

We dined here for my wife’s birthday, and the food and service were outstanding! Server recommendations were spot on, and the teamwork among servers was impressive. Even Paco got involved! This is fine dining at its best.

outstanding as always!! The best fine dining in the Houston/Galveston area. Waaay better than Brennan's, for example. Bruno was amazing. The best Crab Cake ever, chock full of crab, no fillers. Fish must have been caught that morning. Hands down the best restaurant. Thank you Paco!!!

What a gem! This is such a special place. The service is top notch every single time we come. The food is always excellent. The owner has been there each time we have been and always serves right alongside his employees. Truly one of the bright stars in the industry.

Rudy and Paco’s is a must go to when in Galveston. Food is always outstanding and the service is next to none. The chicken fried steak today was not as good as it has been but still one of the best in Texas.

Our first time dining at Rudy & Paco did not disappoint! Our server Oliver was expert at his craft! He was also friendly & knowledgeable about everything we asked. We took his recommendations on cocktails, salad & entrees and they hit the mark. It was small & quiet with a seemingly loyal, local following. It came highly recommended by a local friend. Worth every penny!

Excellent as always. Rudy & Paco is Our very favorite restaurant. We usually spend birthdays and anniversaries at Rudy & Paco. This time We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. The service and food were top notch as always. Our waiter, Oliver, was outstanding. Everyone and everything was perfect start to finish. We even got to take a photo with Paco as we always do! Thanks for unforgettable experience.

Always our favorite stop in Galveston. Paco is the best. Service is exceptional…. all meals served at once to everyone at the table… hot and correct. Amazing to see the precision. The meals are prepared expertly and full of flavor.

Alexis was our server and was great. Escargot and lobster bisque were great as well as sea bass with crab topping also great. Had our photo taken with Paco. Will visit this again. Not a tourist hangout but when a tourist finds it, they will return on the next trip.
