At The Chateau Louis we strive to provide the freshest top quality products available. Our beef is Alberta Triple A, the wild sockeye salmon is from B.C. , the lamb is local Alberta. All sauces, salad dressings and desserts are freshly made in the hotel kitchen.
We believe that meals should be enjoyed and not rushed. Good food takes time to properly prepare and we will endeavour to make every meal memorable.

Watch the fish lapping the salt water aquarium as you listen to Mr. Dennis Begoray playing your favourite piano medleys. Indulge on our sumptuous set menu which changes every week. All items are freshly made in the hotel kitchen using the finest ingredients available. So good that if we didn't tell you it was gluten free, you wouldn't notice. Music starts at 6:30. Reservations are recommended as there is limited space. Sorry no minors. The menu is also available in the Royal Coach Dining Room and for take out. Hope to see you soon!

    The staff are all so friendly and kind. The buffet was delicious, and all gluten free, which you would never know unless told. Even the deserts were gluten free and you'd never guess it. They were delicious. My only small complaint is the there was only fish and beef served. The beef was a bit tough, and I'm not much of a fish eater. Chicken would have been a nice alternative. I would return. Overall, a very delicious meal.

    Great ambience and comfort in the adjacent lounge. Food at the buffet bar was excellent, Service for initial coffee was very slow. Coffee could DEFINITELY be better!

    We were seated in the lounge because the table reserved for us in the dining room was still occupied when we got there. We liked our experience there very much, and Tracy looked after us very well. We will be back.

    The dining room is very dated and has a strange odor. Most of the customers were seniors, so the food was pretty bland and simple. The food was okay. Not a huge selection for dessert. The clamato used in our Caesars was watered down. Our server was kind of a dick, but whatever. Was it worth $49? No.

    I really wanted this to be a good Easter buffet. Here is what was good. Staff. Attentive to refilling overpopulated buffet. Kind and friendly. Here's what needs work. Booking. They overbooked. People were mad. Vocal heated discussions held near our table that we had to hear. Ruined any hope of a nice evening. Food lineup. The buffet set up was on one side only so the line moves at a snails pace. It is situated in a corner alcove near the entrance so people were crowded around the food mingling with people who were waiting to be seated and snaking through a labyrinth of tables already seated eating their food. It was chaotic, classless, pandemonium. A hillbilly hoedown would have had better seating / food line separation. Overcooked / precooked food. Some dishes were literally mush. Move the buffet station to the center of the room and make it double sided. Put tables in the tight alcove. Don't overbook. Have your staff take belligerent angry customers take there conversations away from non participant patrons.

    We tried the Saturday Roast Beef Buffet. Fantastic food. The roast beef was delicious. Well seasoned and you could get well done to rare. The buffet had very good quality and selection. The staff are exceptional. Go for a wonder experience and truly great food.

    Very enjoyable. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was impressive. The popcorn ceiling was a little distracting with everything else going on. The service was also really good.

    The food and choices were fresh and tasty. The only food item missing was the omelette station that we always look forward to at breakfast brunch. Not sure what happened but hope it's available the next time we bring our family for Sunday brunch.

    thank you for your comment. just about the omelette & waffle station we always have it on Sunday brunch . we never missed it because its part of our brunch and people enjoy it. next time feel free to ask your server or the chef , than we can do walk through the buffet. hope to see you soon.
