First time visiting Rothmans, we went for Mother’s Day. Great and attentive service, genuinely went above and beyond to make our dinner great! Food was absolutely delicious and they have an extensive wine list to match. We started with Kung Pao Calamari and Baked Clams. Both were delicious, my fave was the calamari. Was not your typical fried calamari, had so much flavor and we couldnt get enough of the sauce. For dinner mom had Filet, dad and I had bone-in ribeyes which were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Sides we decided on were mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, truffle fries and sauteed mushrooms-all delicious! Had to follow up with desserts. We ordered 3 to share: key lime pie, raspberry sorbet and creme brûlée. One was better than the next. Overall a truly great dinner with great service which is especially hard to find on a holiday in a busy restaurant. Mom also mentioned it was surprisingly quiet considering how crowded it was which was nice. Never had to scream over a crowd to hear each other. Great ambiance.

The service was pretty good. The food was OK. The atmosphere was very loud and very overcrowded. We were practically sitting on top of each other. The waiters kept bumping our chairs, some said excuse me or sorry some just kept going.

We don’t live in the area but had our wedding in Bayville. Every time we would go there to the venue we always wanted to go to Rothmann’s. Recently we went and the service and food was excellent. Highly recommend.

A great dining experience. Everyone tried to make the meal special - from the maitre d' to the waiters to the gentlemen who offered to take photos of us. The hot towel service, which included fresh lemon squeezed into our hands was a nice touch!

Rothmann’s was nice but a bit disappointing. I ordered the grilled octopus appetizer, filet mignon, Brazilian lobster tail, baked potato, and Chocolate Molten for dessert. The grilled octopus was leathery-tough and lacked flavor. The filet mignon was not buttery soft, which I’m accustomed to, and both it and the lobster tail also seemingly had no flavor to them. I don't know if everything was long frozen or what. The baked potato was good; it was a potato, and the dessert was a decent pre-made confection for the restaurant. The decor was classic but drab, worn out, and needed a refreshing. It was nice that the maître d' stopped by my table twice to thank and welcome us to the restaurant. The wait staff was good, but not great. They could have been more attentive, and some personality wouldn't hurt. Overall, I gave it a try. Maybe some enjoy the underwhelming experience, but I would not recommend Rothmann’s. There are other options not far that far exceed this experience.

The event was my wife’s birthday and our reservation was at 5:30. Parking was excellent, and the staff made us felt like we have been coming to the restaurant for decades. The server “Dominic” (Apologies if I misspelt it) was really nice, a great sense of humor and gave great recommendations. We had some appetizers, Tomato and Onion, Foie gras and Market oysters and I must say everything tased great. Our main course consisted of the porterhouse (Classic) for two and the New York strip and hands down it was the best steak we have ever had. My wife truly enjoyed her birthday meal. Thank you everyone.

This was my second time visiting this restaurant and I’m glad I came back, the drinks were amazing the bartender that night didn’t hold back! All the food that was order was tasty and well prepared. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. There was a birthday card on the table before our arrival which was very thoughtful. I will definitely visit again.

Had a fantastic night catching up with a friend and enjoyed the three course special dinner. Caesar salad. A delicious filet, mashed potato and cheese cake. Add a glass of wine and who could ask for more. Everything was delicious and we were not rushed at all. A wonderful evening. Service was as good as the food.

I’ve been going to Rothmann’s for 20 years. It’s such a phenomenal place. The food and drinks are so fresh, delicious and unique! The service is 5 star all! The manager even stopped by several times to ask how we were doing. Just stellar food and service. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Steak was great!! Cooked to taste, service was good, side orders were not very good. Hash browns were pretty tasteless and the cream spinach was good not great or as you’d expect from a steakhouse. Ceasar salad was bland, no anchovies, and pretty tasteless.

Food was great. My family goes to this restaurant several times a year and always happy. This trip however the service was the worst I’ve ever seen in my 10 years going to Rothmann’s . Hopefully it was a one off. Please contact by email and I will give more details.

On this night, the restaurant was very crowded and the food took much too long to come out. In addition, we asked the manager if we could sign onto a secure Wi-Fi because the general Wi-Fi was impossible to sign onto. He commented that everyone complains about the Wi-Fi and there is no way to get on it because there are too many people who tried to access it and their systems are not adequate. He went on to further say that there was a meeting being held Tuesday and once again it would be brought up to the owner who has turned to deaf ear to the issue. The reason the Wi-Fi is important is there is very poor cell service at the restaurant so if you are a doctor or someone who is on call, you cannot dine at Rothman’s

Couple of friends got together on a weeknight for our first time at Rothmans. Nice crowd but not Jammed. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. We wound up ordering off their 3 course weekday pre fixe menu. Many delicious choices to please everyone. The food quality and portions were spot on as was the professional steak house service. Will definitely be back and will recommend to others.

I had heard from friends and family about how great the food is here and read the reviews. I decided to take a date there. The food was great. The service was great. We both had the filet-mignon. It was fabulous. The best steaks we had in a long time. The Caesar salad, spinach and mashed potato’s were great, too! And my date loved, me for taking her there, too! Woo Woo!

I truly don’t think it could have been any better. Food was incredible, service was attentive and polite, parking is easy and the atmosphere is large and spacious without too much noise despite being packed. The mid week price fixe has everything I wanted to order all combined for a very fair price. A true five star experience from start to finish.

Extensive alacarte menu, amazingly wine list, prixefixe menu during the week outstanding and a bargain for what they offer, Ricardo and jimmy highly skilled veterans of the business making it a perfect dining experience..and Sunday brunch the best you will ever experience.. the wine room or a booth will solidify your evening as for the best seats..

I had the filet mignon and my wife had the surf and turf. The meals were outstanding. The managers came to introduce themselves and welcome us to the restaurant and checked in with us twice to see how we were enjoying the meal. Our serving staff were fantastic. Very professional and allowed us the time to enjoy the meal at a very relaxed pace. The atmosphere was lovely.

The wait staff at this restaurant is not good. We go there all the time, and the Waiters tend to be very curt. It would be a much nicer experience if the waiters were more hospitable and attentive
