We had the charcuterie with meat and cheese. It was very good but I think it could have had a little more to it for the price. Crab cakes good but needed seasoning, so did the shrimp and grits. Not bad though and I would go back.

Mother’s Day pre dinner. Excellent service. Great selection of wine and dinner menu offered numerous choices many gluten free which I need for celiac. Tried smoked cheddar cheese plate for first time and it did not disappoint. Best gf crackers I ever had. Service was friendly, hard working and competent. Will return.

Service is always great. And the food is always wonderful. Last night I had the new seafood salad, which was phenomenal. And the wine I was served was excellent.

The wine flight and Bibb salad were yummy. We split the Coq Au Vin and the server brought us our individual portions already plated. We also enjoyed the acoustic guitar duo during our visit.

The staff is so friendly. Amazing wines by the glass at great prices. The food is wonderful. Lots of tasty sharing options as well as entrees.

Our server Aimee was a delight. We have been to many restaurants lately and the service has unfortunately been very haphazard. She was attentive and didn’t get anything wrong with our party of 9!! Than you so much! It really made our day special, as we were all there, as a family, for a 21st birthday. I can’t say how much your server really made our experience. We will be back because of your wonderful food and service!

This restaurant is a neighborhood gem. I go there regularly. The food is unique and the wine opportunities are the best in the city. You can get 3 or 6 oz. pours. Try the charcuterie. It is fantastic.

We are not first timers to Robust. We find it to be a typical quaint Webster Groves establishment. Pleasant and consistent. Since it was early in the evening it was still quiet, and we could have a conversation. My cocktail was a delicious work of art, my Pinot Noir was excellent. Our food was very good. My Coq au Vin had a perfectly cooked crust and a very tasty broth, albeit a bit salty. My husband enjoyed his chicken flatbread. All was delicious in manageable appetizing proportions. And all very reasonably priced. The service was excellent.

Excellent food of various types. Last night I really enjoyed the lobster bisque — outstanding!!! I let the staff choose my wine. They never disappoint.

We realize it was Valentine’s Day, so that may have been the culprit here. But… we were encouraged to order all our courses up front, which we won’t do again. Each subsequent course arrived long before we were finished with the previous one, leading to a crowded table and a sense of being rushed, which wasn’t what we were seeking for a VD meal…. Food delicious, wait staff lovely, all else good. But timing of the courses was oblivious to the pace of consumption.

I Llke Robust a lot, and our food was good. Unfortunately, even though there were only a few tables seated, the service was slow. Put a damper on our lunch

We always have a great culinary experience at Robust. Awesome atmosphere! Love the options… shareables, big plates, wines & cocktails! Our servers are always fun! Knowledgeable and friendly. Last night we had Maddie and she was delightful!

Two girlfriends in for lunch. I had the chowder....DELISH. She had a salad. And we shared the mushroom tart. Delectable. A couple of glasses of wine, and a friendly and helpful server, made for a lovely get-together. Highly recommend.

It was very busy last night but the food still came out timely. The servers were very attentive. I had only soup and it was delicious. The wine is always excellent. I always get the red wine flight.

The atmosphere was nice and the live music was a fun bonus! The wines we had were tasty, as well as the food. My only real gripe is that the food was overpriced. The Mushroom Tart was laughably small (and boring and depressingly underseasoned) for someone to want to throw 16 bucks away.

For the price the portions were extremely small. Went back to the office and made myself a salad. I would recommend your place to a friend but would also let then know about the cost and portions.

Great service from the time we walked into the restaurant. The cocktails were quite tasty. Food was good. Fish was a bit overcooked but nothing bad at all. over good experience.

This was gathering of old friends, who hadn’t seen each other in a while. We wanted to meet at a place where we could have conversation, some good wine, and some great food. Robust checked off all those boxes. To top it off, the service was outstanding, and we had a great evening. .

I guess I did not pay attention. I did not realize that it would be a pre-set menu for new years eve with the minimum price for a dinner at $85 per each. I also did not realize that the wine pairing was in addition to the $85. I was on a first "real" date with a nice person and I guess I just dealt with it. The options of scallops or prime rib were both items that I don't like, but I dealt with it. I like robust for a casual wine bar, but the bill was $240 for what I consider a not so great dinner with entrees I did not like. We could have eaten at a very fine high end restaurant for that cost. I am a regular working person and I am not used spending that kind of money, The wait staff was good, but we could have had a much better time and meal for a lot less somewhere else. I am sorry to make this type of review, but this was the most expensive dinner I think I have ever had and I did not enjoy the food.
