    Usually reliable, on this visit we found the service and food at Roaring Fork to be poor. We waited very long for drinks; in fact when a second drink was delivered after we had finished eating, my friend refused it. Both the burger and trout were very salty. I wish our waitress had told me that green beans were served with the trout as I would not have ordered the asparagus side. All in all, not what we’ve come to expect from Roaring Fork. The restaurant was loud and because we were seated near the open kitchen, we heard restaurant staff yelling orders.

    First visit. Very impressed. Steak, fish, vegetables, wine, and cheesecake were excellent. There is a nice view of a small lake. We will be back on special occasions. It is a little too pricey for us to go on a weekly basis,

    Disappointing that our reserved table was in a spot where happy hour didn't apply. Seriously, make happy hour available at every seat. We were moved to a different patio table outside of the bar area with a view of the lake. However, the only fan was pointing to an umbrella and the manager was terse when we asked if they could bring out another fan. He claims they didn't have one. Our server and our food were great, though.

    Our table was ready right as we arrived. The food was outstanding and the service was perfect. Roaring Fork North Austin is by far our favorite restaurant in town and always a great choice!

    If you're looking for quality food in a classy dining atmosphere go to Roaring Fork. Service is outstanding even if you just order their famous, less expensive Big Axx Burger. The menu isn't extensive but there is something for everyone. Their food is top quality & cooked to perfection. Over several visits I've tried their burger, steak, pork, chicken & fish. OMG so yummy! A first class restaurant where I'm proud to take family & business associates to dine!!

    We haven’t been to Roaring Fork in a year or two. The wood fired steaks were so flavorful and yummy, as was the asparagus. Don’t know why we waited so long to return. The mashed potatoes were fine, you got some big lumps in them. Some people like that. One thing that drew us in was the buy one get one free entre on Memorial Day. We both got ribeyes. I think they were $56 each. There was no max price listed in the email advertisement. It said buy one free entree, get one free. We only got a $50 deduction. It would have been nice knowing the EXACT promotion. I went back to reread the promo. I saw nothing indicating the $50 limit. Thank you! It was still delicious!
