Yummy to the last bite! We enjoyed a filet mignon, spinach with garlic, asparagus, mashed potatoes and a veal chop. Great busy ambiance in classy surroundings.

It was busy and some elements not ideal but the manager on duty did an excellent job at every turn of making it an excellent experience - well done to the manager

RL is the perfect place to have a delicious meal whether it's a special occasion, a business lunch, or a break from shopping. Everything from the service to the food was positively outstanding. This is a can't miss spot if you're on the Magnificent Mile!

This restaurant is the best in town. Considered a locals place but welcomes all with impeccable service. I haven’t seen this kind of service anywhere else. They are personable, professional and oh so friendly. And I’ve never had a problem with any orders from them. Best cappuccinos for after brunch or dinner. This place has talent like no other. So many places just serve without much eye contact let alone conversation. It takes a special group of people who enjoy serving and engaging. The decor is classy but relaxed. The lounge is so Ralph Lauren and the dining room is more on the formal side but not over the top. Check out all the artwork on the walls. Sketches and paintings of the familiar and interesting. The bar tenders in the lounge will always remember you if you come back just a few times. It’s my favorite place since 1999!

As as always, the food was delicious. Scott, our server was amazing. Michael the manager is always a delight and makes it a great experience. He runs the restaurant at top notch.

Ariel is one of my favorite restaurants within the city of Chicago. The service is absolutely superb The food is delicious. Service was second to none. I recommend dining and RL to celebrate any milestone event.

RL has always been our favorite but our experience this time wasn’t so great. The bread basket was stale- we sent it back and not much better the second time around. Our meal was fine and our server was great however it was very noisy. My daughter’s glass had a large crack on the rim. So not the nice elegant lunch we have had in the past.

Always a treat and always where we take family when in town. Best restaurant for food, atmosphere and going away feeling that you've had a very good time in an elegant place without it feeling it was overbearing. If you like being treated like a second class citizen come here. I loved the restaurant decor, food and my waiter. However, I found the place to be cold and unwelcoming. The host was rude. Made me feel like I didn’t belong. Was wearing casual street chic. Had a reservation for 2, was sat at table for 2 in the main dining room. Some girl would just point at a table without speaking. It was odd. Then I sat there and people kept staring as though I didn’t belong, and made it quite uncomfortable. Some weirdo wearing sunglasses with a table of girls next to me, kept making comments in reference to me. It was highly awkward. I was never greeted by anyone when I sat down. I watched the hosts interact with everyone else in a pleasant way, why not me? Even when I left they didn’t say anything like they did everyone else. I will be back, just too be as rude to everyone else as they were to me.

Perfect day to be seated at the patio! Had a bottle of sparkling, salad of avocado and crab was refreshing and light, the hamburger is one of the best in the city! Service was attentive. Wine though is expensive.

RL doesn't disappoint. Loved our server, Peter. The Cremant is delightful. The avocado and crab salad yummy. RL was packed and we had to wait, despite our reservation. The good news is that we had Peter and a decent table.
