We had a great meal with excellent service. The dipping sauce for the bread was amazing (so much so, we bought a jar to take home). Michael (our server) was excellent. Best service we’ve had in a very long time. Very personable, friendly and seemed to anticipate our needs. I would come back just because of Michael and the service we received.

The service was excellent. Very attentive wait staff. The chicken parmigiana was perfect, with just a little crispiness. But the linguini with clam sauce had one bad clam and there was sand in some of the others clams. I recommend the restaurant but avoid the clams.

We dined here at the recommendation of our hotel staff, ordering the mushroom ravioli and tagliatelle alla bolognese. The cream sauce for the ravioli was good. However, we didn’t taste much mushroom in the ravioli; it was pretty much cheese ravioli and tasted fine. The tagliatelle was more undercooked than al dente. At another table, we observed someone adding salt to their fried calamari—who knows if that diner likes things extremely salty or if the dish really lacked flavor? As for us, we will probably dine elsewhere in the future given the quality and price point of the entrees here.

As has been consistent for the last three times we’ve taken guests there, the food and service were excellent. Several of our party had the amazing saffon pappardelle with prawns and mushrooms. Everyone at the table tried it and it got rave reviews. The special was uber fresh Mahi-mahi with polenta and asparagus. Equally great reviews on that meal as well. My rigatoni and sausage was also delicious. For those of you who haven’t been here, the pre-meal special olive oil and red onion sauce with fresh bread is one of my favorite things about the place. Also a shout out to Lexie who was our server. She was very attentive, but not hovering and gave us excellent service for our birthday celebration! We’ll be back soon!

What a disappointment. Trading on reputation is fully apt in this situation. Our food arrived less than 10 minutes after ordered and was clearly not made to order, but was pre-made and assembly line produced. The saffron pasta with shrimp was almost tasteless; the side of polenta with meat sauce was too sweet though the polenta itself was ok, but understated. The saving grace, if there is one, were the cocktails which were very good as was the friendly service. With so many amazing restaurants in the area it is a shame to waste time or money on a place that lacks.

The calamari was about as light as I’ve ever had. The pasta was also delicious. My wife had the mushroom ravioli and I had the pappardelle with shrimp.

The food (we both got pasta) was fine. However, we ordered an appetizer and never got it. The dinner came out quickly. We asked for a recommendation on wine and she gave us one but then she brought a different one and opened it. She poured it before I saw the bottle she brought. (My date did the tasting)

We went to this place as our first dinner in Napa city. This is the best pasta we have ever had in our life. Our sever was great and super nice explaining the best things on the menu (Alexandra). If looking for a cool little place to get dinner in Napa city. This is the place hands down.

Solid spot! Love the atmosphere, great waitress and food was delicious. Chicken parm was a little small. Best dish was mushroom ravioli add the sausage it is worth it. We sat upstairs a little quieter than downstairs. Our service was awesome!

Had a great lunch with friends. The saffron papardelle with mushrooms and shrimp was outstanding. Friends loved their pasta with white wine and clams. We always enjoy the onion herbed olive oil and bread served before the meal. It’s our go-to!

The restaurant was just OK. We sat outside, and there was quite a draft because the plastic covers were not wide enough and did not go down all the way to the ground. The food was just mediocre. My husband’s pasta, my crabcakes tasted a bit plain. I actually returned the crabcakes. Salad was good and Service was good.

We had a great dinner here, celebrating my wife’s birthday. Richie was our server and he was fantastic: kind, hospitable, and warm. My wife had the swordfish and I had the pork shoulder lasagna; they were both some of the evening’s specials. And our daughter had the mushroom ravioli. Nobody went home hungry. We look forward to going back. :)

This place is terrible. It's an embarrassment to Italian food. This is the kind of place old Napa locals have probably just been going to for years and years and it's all they know, and think it's great. They're wrong.. please don't waste your time or money here or you're like us and experienced in good eats/restaurants! We just went for dinner last night on a Saturday night. You can usually tell how the food is going to be from the bar/cocktail options/bartenders so we knew right away seeing how limited and naive the cocktail menu was (and how the bartender looked confused when we asked about the possibility of making a black Manhattan... he looked like he'd never heard of a Manhattan in his life even though they offer one on the menu ) that we were going to be disappointed. The blood orange martini had no balance to it... it tasted very artificial and one note. I had to change it out for a dirty martini (something difficult to mess up). Even the Negroni we ordered was too heavy on the Campari. The bread was really plain, boring, and served with an olive oil, balsamic, shallot, and onion dip that was wayyy too much onion. It really needs to be balanced out with maybe pieces of olive, garlic, red peppers, chili flakes to commit to the muffaletta vibe that they seem to be going for there or just keep it simple with oil and vinegar. The pasta was terrible. The gnocchi were dense, dough filled pieces in a flavorless pesto. The rigatoni con salsiccia offered dry, frozen sausage drenched in basic marinara and box rigatoni. Definitely nothing made from scratch here. Carpaccio also left much to be desired. It was also flavorless and underseasoned. It's not wagyu guys... it needs some salt. Definitely will not return here
