Same as 10 years ago , needs total renovation , no AC in Cancun ? Very expensive for the quality , Will not return

While the setting and service were great for a seafood place they have some issues. We were a party of 4. We split 2 orders of stone crab and an order of scallops as appetizers. The stone crab was cooked beyond over done. The texture was totally off. They didn’t crack some of them which was beyond frustrating. The main course lobster tail was also way overcooked. Circumstances didn’t allow me to let the restaurant know about these shortcomings but had I been able to I would have sent everything back. The restaurant was fairly empty. There is no excuse, especially at these prices, for such poorly executed dishes.

We have been coming to Lorenzillo’s for many years on our annual trip to Cancun. This was our first time back in a couple of years, post covid. The service was exceptional, Miguel, Angel were terrific waiters. What shocked us was the escalation of prices. My husband ordered a grilled lobster tail entree. Over $100 US and we didn’t know the price until the bill came. My pasta seafood dish was over $60. There wasn’t a bottle of wine under $100. This used to be a favorite place of ours but I can’t see spending over $200 for the dinner we had.

Excellent food and service. The best lobster you can get in Cancun. And to top it all we had the sighting of a crocodile 🐊

We hadn't been there in years and it seems to have really gone down hill. The French Onion soup was terrible. One hard piece of burnt bread with a small piece of cheese. No flavor at all. The "El Captain" didn't come in a marinara sauce but small chopped tomatoes and onions. Really not tasty at all! Definitely won't be going back?

My husband's favorite place to go for his birthday. Great food Amazing Staff, Beautiful place to watch the sunset. We come here twice every year while on vacation.. LOVE IT!!!!
