Le Rebirth est la seule destination du Warehouse District à proposer une cuisine cajun-créole sur le principe de la ferme à l'assiette. Le chef Ricky Cheramie, originaire du sud de la Louisiane, crée une nourriture réconfortante. Vous pourrez notamment déguster le flanc de porc de style barbecue du Mississippi, les pétoncles noircis accompagnés d'un maque choux tasso au homard et la crème brûlée au café au lait avec calas et grains de café enrobés de chocolat noir. Le restaurant presse aussi son propre jus de canne à sucre pour confectionner des sirops simples, des vinaigrettes et de la laque moutardée à la créole.

Chef and his team make even a one night stop in Nola memorable. Gumbo / tartare / scallops. And a masterful cocktail from the bar. Skipped the bread pudding this time but another not to miss item from a menu packed with flavor.

From being met at the door till when walking out hours later this was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a very long time. The chef sent our birthday girl a special appetizer setting the stage for a special evening. The food….oh the food. Every bite was a pleasant surprise with each plate beautifully presented. We chose to share plates as it was difficult to choose just one appetizer or one entree. We had shrimp and eggplant and the pork belly. Both were excellent choices with the barbecue sauce on the pork belly made you want to have a jar to take home. For the entrees the fish of the day was Maui Maui. Not only was the fish cooked to perfection the gnocchi and vegetable were delicious. We moved from there to the blackened scallops where we enjoyed fried fennel pickles which I had never tasted and what a treat! Restaurant Rebirth will be a go to place when we are in New Orleans.

Really enjoyed our meal here. It's quite small so make reservations if possible. Tables are a little closer than I prefer but the food is so fresh and delicious. I'd give a 5 had the waiter asked if I'd like another cocktail or a different drink with my meal. Otherwise it was a perfect evening for a birthday dinner.

For years I've been recommending Restaurant Rebirth as one of my favorite places in NOLA. We go to Restaurant Rebirth every chance we get. However, this visit was not good. I was there with my husband and two of my sisters. My husband ordered fish of the day which he enjoyed. My sisters and I ordered Blackened scallops. I love scallops and was looking forward to my meal. The scallops came served with crawfish & tasso maque choux, fingerling potatoes maison, fried fennel pickles, and sweet chili saffron glaze. All of these things -- I love. However, the flavors were not there. All three orders of Blackened Scallops fell short. the potatoes were burned, scallops overcooked, seasoning was too heavy. Anything that could go wrong in one dish did go wrong. For this reason, I won't be recommending Restaurant Rebirth again.

I only had one night to eat out while visiting for a conference and I'm so happy I ended up at Rebirth. It was exactly what I wanted. It was quiet when I got there and had filled up when I left but still not loud. I was solo so I sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly and I felt catered to. She offered samples of some of the drinks and made a delicious custom Salazac. I'm get full quick so ordered the crispy oysters on black pepper angel hair pasta and the brie and blackberry salad so I'd have room for dessert, which was the bread pudding, natch. Each was unique and delicious and I savored every bite. I highly recommend this gem on Fulton Street.

Food was well executed. To my palate, sauces were a little sweet with not enough fire to balance. Scallops cooked perfectly and nicely paired with fingerlings. The coated bacon fried green beans were unremarkable - plain, simple would have fitted better. Fish of day mahi was small portion for USA, but altogether a very nice dish with the accompaniments. Space is set up like a joint with white tablecloths. Cocktails well done, with nice, fairly priced wine list. Solid B in my book. Less sugar and honey would move food up a grade. Service good, noise tolerable.

We went to Restaurant Rebirth last night and it was wonderful and our server Erica was great! Definitely try the gumbo - it was delicious for a starter. The filet mignon was amazing. The restaurant is small so it was a personalized experience with a couple visits to our table by the general manager. Drinks from the bar took quite some time, but they made up for that. Would definitely recommend and go back next time we are in New Orleans.

The pork belly and fried oyster pasta starters were both amazing. The fish of the day was solid and the coffee crème brûlée and bread pudding were very good. Cocktails were just okay. Would definitely return…especially for the pork belly!

We ate at the bar. The bartender was using his hands to grab ice and make cocktails. Not once but every drink he made. He never washed his hands. He continuously used the ice hand to wipe sweat from his forehead and face. Wild.

At the risk of sounding redundant (see first review I left just 48 hours ago), this place is unbelievable. I visited NO for four days and nights and made a point of going here twice... Chef, owner, staff, food, drink, ambiance... the best. Bar none. Dont hesitate - just make the reservation. Bar seating is key!!

Words won't do it justice. Just go. Never had a better dining experience - the service, vibe, food (pork belly!! double-cut pork chop, NY strip, and gumbo!!) were just top notch. Sat at the bar and spent the next two hours shaking our heads in disbelief and bliss. Visting New Orleans for 4 days - just ate here last nite and already made another res for tomorrow... Go!

This was the best meal we had in New Orleans. From the cornbread to the entree, everything was delicious. Our server, Justin, was very nice and helpful. The General Manager, Riley, came by several times to check on us. We shared the Pork belly appetizer, and it was wonderful. I had the strip steak with Bearnaise sauce which was out of this world good. My brother had the scallops and loved them. I will definitely go back, the next time I am in New Orleans.

Excellent service and outstanding food. I had the double pork chop which may be the best I have ever had and my wife had the scallops which she thoroughly enjoyed! We would definitely go back whenever in New Orleans!!

If you want to experience true Nola Cajun food there is no place like Restaurant Rebirth. A super cozy, relaxing restaurant with a true family vibe. Come dressed nicely casual or finally clothed. You will feel totally comfortable. Being from Hawaii you rarely find the aloha spirit. Here at Rebirth it truly exists. What an amazing waitstaff. They know how every dish is prepared. An excellent wine list marries a very creative menu. We had the following: the greatest gumbo in Nola. Redolent in the best andouille. Filet Mignon that rivals the best from France. And a double cut pork chop with the most balanced intense stock. $243.54 won’t break the bank and that includes an excellent French Rhone wine and two Sazerac’s.

We had last minute reservations and we were seated at the bar. Very busy area but exciting to see the workings of the restaurant. Everyone was super attentive and polite and truly interested in our experience at Restaurant Rebirth. The pork chop is probably the best I have ever had!!
