                                                                                            Service was impeccable. We enjoyed the meals served flambé. All done in the old school style making our experience very enjoyable and comfortable.

                                                                                            —- ‼️AWFUL EXPERIENCE ‼️—- We love to spend money on great food and great experiences BUT,we had an Awful experience, the food is mediocre, The whole “Flambé” story is a tourist trap that looks great but is nonsense The price is outrageous big time Although the service is reasonable, the aim of the waiters is to make sure you order the “flambé” pricing dishes The only good thing was the wine selection

                                                                                            I’m not giving it a higher rating because they use canola oil in the ceaser salad dressing. They should be using olive oil. Our waiter was fantastic. Quite the entertainment.

                                                                                            Very disappointed. The person who showed us to our table told us they had some fresh lobster from the region so that is what we ordered. After what could have been no more than 5 minutes came a fast food version of lobster tails and claws with rice and asparagus only slightly warmer than room temperature. The butter and garlic sauce that was included was also not very good either. We will never go back again.

                                                                                            The staff was amazing and welcoming. The experience was one of a kind, and the food was very good. The dress code says casual on open table, but you most certainly should dress up a bit to match the wait staff and ambiance. We were wearing t-shirts and felt very out of place. They did not deny us, but to feel comfortable, I would recommend business casual. Lobster was great, shrimp was good with small portion sizing, and the peppercorn steak was perfectly cooked but was a bit one note in terms of flavor. Overall, I would definitely recommend it for a fun date night or celebration.

                                                                                            We booked this reservation far in advance as we were travelling to Quebec City to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary - which was noted on the reservation and acknowledged by the host on arrival. Our experience was marred by an aggressive waiter who took over our service and used our anniversary dinner to train three new staff. I understand training is necessary, but maybe not over a 30th anniversary celebration? There was much talking, instructions and correcting. Not a romantic atmosphere! Separately, we started off with a different waiter, who made our table-side Caesar salad - good job. The aggressive waiter literally pushed the first waiter out of the way when the table-side Chateaubriand was ready to be prepared. That was when we became the training table. There was clearly some internal politics between the first and aggressive waiter (who resembled Telly Savalas, Kojak!) The first waiter was clearly put out and sad, but conceded to the aggressive waiter. We never saw the first waiter again. The aggressive waiter was running between our table and another to do table side flambés - with his three trainees in tow. It was highly off-putting and, frankly, ruined our experience. The food was marvellous and this place was wonderfully old school (we honeymooned in France and wanted to revisit old European atmosphere.) The aggressive waiter boasted to the other couple (switching back and forth for flambé) that he had been working there for ten years. Shocking conduct and not acceptable if you care about guest experience!
