Apparently OpenTable reservations don’t register with the restaurant’s system. We arrived and they had no record of our reservation. The manager said OpenTable doesn’t always communicate with their reservation system. Thankfully he did his best to accommodate us as close to our time as possible. But id be cautious about booking through OpenTable for refinery moving forward.

Fun birthday celebration on the rooftop. Food and drinks were great. And thank you for the birthday cake. My son enjoyed it. Photo ops made it even more special.

Very loud. So loud you couldn’t even hear the music - just a faint thumping in the background. Impossible to have a conversation. Don’t get the chicken panini. The flatbread was good as well as the salads. The spicy margaritas are very good.

It is all about the view. Just try not to sit right next to the door to the balcony as there is a lot of traffic filing past all night.

Arrived to the hostess desk to only be denied entry, because they didn’t “see my reservation”. Apparently if you make a same day reservation on open table , Refinery Rooftop won’t recognize it until the next day. Don’t offer reservations if you can’t serve us .

Food was fresh and delicious. Great atmosphere. Go outside to corner of patio for amazing view of Empire Stare Building.

Cute rooftop spot with great views of the Empire State Building. The food was delicious! We had 4 brunch selections: eggs in purgatory, eggs Benedict, chicken club, avocado toast and two apps: calamari and crab cake, both scrumptious. We decided to try the large format Bloody Mary since there were 4 of us and the menu said it would serve 6….what a waste of money! We each basically had 1 fill of a pint glass which came full of ice with limes wedges & olive. What was left in the pitcher would not have filled a 4oz glass!! Soooo we ended up paying $18.75 per drink…a far cry from the single serving for $15 Buyer beware!!!! DONT GET THE LARGE DRINK OPTION
