Great food, excellent service, and the pre-theater menu helped get us through dinner and on our way to our theater seats of the street in a great amount of time without feeling rushed. Absolutely would go back!

Our server Charlene was wondering! She was very knowledgeable about the dishes and the drinks. My redfish was good, but not as good as my son's blackened mahi mahi. That was phenomenal! We ordered the chocolate bread pudding which was a perfect ending to our meal.

Food is picture worthy, but it would take some acting to make eating it look enjoyable. Salad was good. Red Fish is way too salty. Ignore that the server claims it isn't. it really is barely edible due to far too much salt. The ham should provide plenty of salt, but it tastes like they added a lot more on top of that. The double chocolate bread pudding photographs very well and looks pretty. But it is NOT BREAD PUDDING. It is a muffin with a crunchy top with soft-serve ice cream and a good chocolate sauce and mediocre white chocolate sauce. Only the chocolate and crunchy top of the muffin are worth eating. For $100 for meal for one, NOT WORTH IT. Try someplace else while exploring New Orleans. Have fun in search of great eats! (elsewhere!)

What a fun atmosphere with excellent food variety. We especially enjoyed the cheese bread and short ribs, shrimp and grits. Our server kindly allowed us to share the entree, all was beautifully plated. We will come again when in the area.

Enjoyed the Mothers Day brunch as always I had the oysters on the half shell, corn and crawfish chowder , alligator and sausage gumbo , smoked salmon , tuna tartare, red fish , smoked salmon, veal , blue berry crumble and doberge wedding cake and mimosas!

The food was superb. All of the servers were very kind and confident about the meals they were serving. This was my 3rd year participating in the brunch. I’d invited my mother-in-law and mom. We were having such a great time. Until…. my mother-in-law eats really slow. I didn’t know if we were holding the section up so when she excused herself to the restroom, I asked if the little pastry’s she had on her plate could be taken with her. THE RUDE WAITRESS STATED, “ there is no go plates..you don’t have togo plates at a buffet”. First off, that was a yes or no question. Second, I’d asked so he could sit someone else there since we’d been there for a while. Lastly, I am 51 years old, I do not need a lesson on buffets. I actually waited until my mom and mother-in-law was out of the restaurant and I went back in to let the manager know I absolutely did not appreciate the little waiter’s condescending tone. I WILL NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER SET FOOT BACK IN RED FISH GRILL. My daughter Dijon Dilosa worked there for a few years and she suggested Red Fish years ago and I’d been a faithful customer often. I will absolutely recommend GW Fins, Revolution, Morrows Steakhouse, or 4 Seasons from now on.

Mother’s Day brunch was excellent. Well very it was very pricey, I loved the variety it had. From raw oysters on the half shell and crawfish Mac and cheese to a waffle bar and king cake bonbons, it all was outstanding. The service was also outstanding. Every time you left to get something else from the buffet, your last plate would be gone. I would go back. Just wish it was a tad cheaper.

Service at the bar and table was excellent. Honest, real, and friendly staff. The blue cheese/honey buffalo shrimp app was THE best. We wanted to order 3 more!! And the snapper entree was excellent, with the fingerling potatoes seasoned perfectly. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t get the crawfish mac and cheese again. Cheese had a good consistency, but the flavor was just off for me.

We had a lovely time at red Fish Grill. The house specialty bbq oysters are so delicious! The gumbo was decent but a little pricey at $24. The redfish and shrimp feature was very tasty the catfish with red cabbage was interesting- good flair but the coating just flaked off. All drinks were excellent.

Very personable waiter named Ike provided wonderful service. All four of us enjoyed our dinners. Dark chocolate bread pudding with ice cream is a must try.

The entrees were incredibly good. However, the star of the evening was the double chocolate bread pudding. Incredibly decadent and unbelievably delicious.

We enjoyed an excellent meal at Red Fish. Our server, Lyn, was engaging and knowledgeable, able to help with any menu questions we had. Our martinis were made expertly, we enjoyed the Banana’s Foster one especially. Our red fish and catfish entrees were perfect. Also, the charbroiled oysters were great. Red Fish has become a must go each trip to NOLA.

The service was awful. I dont know if its Ralh Brennan or just spread too thin. But what was worse than the service was the manager making excuses instead of just saying, I’m so sorry, let me try and make this right for you and…” Owen and Ella would be rolling in their graves.

Their special of soft shell crab over mango rice in a cream sauce and topped with thinly sliced cucumber was magnificent. It was the best soft shell crab I ever had! My husband had the house special and loved that as well. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.
