We had a lovely time at red Fish Grill. The house specialty bbq oysters are so delicious! The gumbo was decent but a little pricey at $24. The redfish and shrimp feature was very tasty the catfish with red cabbage was interesting- good flair but the coating just flaked off. All drinks were excellent.

The entrees were incredibly good. However, the star of the evening was the double chocolate bread pudding. Incredibly decadent and unbelievably delicious.

The service was awful. I dont know if its Ralh Brennan or just spread too thin. But what was worse than the service was the manager making excuses instead of just saying, I’m so sorry, let me try and make this right for you and…” Owen and Ella would be rolling in their graves.

Gumbo was horrible and clearly burned the Roux. At least the server was good enough to take off of our bill. Had the signature redfish and shrimp. Was very plain.

I was disappointed in the redfish. Mine was dry. I asked for it to be done with olive oil, but it was very dry and I don't think it was cooked to my request

Hey we’re visiting from California (Bay Area) and Iesha is an awesome bartender and server. She is very attentive and has great suggestions for drinks! We definitely will re-visit and hopefully dine with her again… She has great vibes!!!! Thanks so much Iesha!!!!! We ordered the BBQ oysters and yes I needed a second round because they were super delicious..sheeeessshhhh!!!!

The food was great they just forgot our appetizer and brought our food out instead and so we just said forget the appetizer.

I had the alligator sausage gumbo, the redfish, and the chocolate bread pudding. Everything was excellent. Waitress was attentive and happy to be there.

We had a party of 8. Kevin, our server, was excellent and provided spot-on recommendations. Food was delicious - a steal at this price level. But seriously listen when they say to order your chocolate bread pudding. (Tip - it’s totally worth it.)

Excellent food and service in a lively, very casual atmosphere. A bit concerned about safety because an armed member of the Sheriff's Department came in the entrance at least three times during our dinner to check on conditions.

I hosted a business dinner for my colleagues from out of state and they were extremely pleased with an impeccable dining experience. Our waiter was amazing and managed a table of 9 flawlessly. He was very personable and on point the entire night. We topped the night off with a delicious double chocolate Bread Pudding and a few Espresso Martini’s. Thank you Red Fish grill! You and your staff did not disappoint.

We enjoyed the best praline pecan sundae with homemade soft serve, vanilla ice cream that we have ever tasted! The food is phenomenal and the dessert absolutely amazing!

Lindberg was a fantastic server, food was great and drinks were great. One wish….can you please put some short ribs in the “shrimp and short rib” entree? Very light in the actual good stuff.

We loved it. Kaleb was WONDERFUL. The signature Redfish & LA shrimp dish was outstanding. I'll dream about the chocolate bread pudding. GET THE SOFT SERVE ON TOP!!!!

Red Fish Grill was our 1st restaurant when we came to New Orleans and it did not fail to impress. It was wonderful. the food was great and so too was the service. It was a great introduction to the city.

Gumbo, beet/strawberry salad and chocolate cake were wonderful. The fish bites needed to be crisper, they were a bit soggy. Our waiter was wonderful. Sorry I can’t remember his name.

Always the first restaurant we book on our trips to New Orleans. Their redfish is succulent and well seasoned. Our beet and strawberries salad was wonderful and carried the fresh seasonal tastes of Louisiana. The shrimp and avocado Po-Boy sandwich had nicely spiced shrimp that were perfectly cooked on an excellent French bread. Our dessert consisted of a fresh strawberry shortcake that was made with a true shortcake, not a raised cake imposter. Service in the Knights of Chaos room was cozy. Our server was friendly and efficient. Restaurant Manager Holli even stopped by to ensure everyone was happy. She was very friendly and very much on top of restaurant operations. We highly recommend this restaurant to diners of all ages.
