The food was subpar. My husband steak had to be sent back twice. The service was poor. I do realize it was Mother’s Day but if you can’t do it right , then just don’t do it.

I certainly recommend this place. It’s our favorite go to place for any occasion, food and service are outstanding. Hope they keep the ambiance at he new place. I’m sure we’ll be there to check it out.

I’ve been here a lot and I have to say this was a really bad experience. Ordered an appetizer that never came out, had to mention it once our meals came. Waiter was not attentive at all empty glasses that were never filled or asked if we wanted more. Definitely not worth the experience to pay 50 dollars for a decent steak at best. The use to have quality napkins at the table and restrooms that gave it a high end feel that they don’t have now. Overall the quality of this place from my experience has went downhill. Charging 5 star prices for a 2 star experience.

Based on our waiter's (Andre) recommendation, we had the Bread Pudding Taco for dessert. Now, we thought the dinner was great, the food was hot and tasty, but that Bread Pudding Taco was absolutely amazing. We live in Dallas, and we're already making plans on how we can get back to Fort Worth, just so we can get to Reata and have that dessert again. WOW!

Excellent lunch with a friend’s family who wanted to visit Fort Worth. Reata is our “Go to” for visiting friends and never disappoints. Food, service, and ambiance simply outstanding! Still our “Go to”!

All of our food was excellent. The staff was very friendly and the environment was very chill. Would definitely go back and plan to as the cheese enchiladas were the best I’ve ever had!

Reata has always been our special occasion go to, and this time was no different. We went for our anniversary (party of 10), but this time we were sorely disappointed with really only 1 item. My son and I both ordered the chicken fried steak....big mistake. The CFS was very tough and was nowhere near what we have come to expect at Reata. I have had this in the past and always pretty tender, but not this time. The taste was great, just extremely tough, chewy, only an okay CFS at best. Sorry Reata, but you failed the CFS miserably.

Reata never disappoints! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Wish we had more restaurants like Reata in downtown Fort Worth. Hate to see them more from this wonderful location but will definitely follow them to wherever they go.

We were disappointed that the waitress didn’t bring a birthday dessert to the person we were celebrating as I had given that info with my reservation. She asked if she wanted dessert and she said no. Usually y’all just bring to the person without asking. We weren’t however asked if we wanted dessert. It was just a different experience. The food is awesome and we love this restaurant. We went there on our wedding day 21 years ago and we continue to come back.

Really wanted to like this place. The physical space and building are quite beautiful (though we all noticed we had some sort of ache or pain after sitting in the dining chairs, very uncomfortable, both children and adults). The food however was terribly underwhelming. From the tortilla soup to the fish tacos, little to no flavor..I mean rarely should one need to add salt or pepper to a dish at a southwestern restaurant but that was the least you could do to get a few bites down. Also noted a member of our party with a food allergy specifically requested a dish prepared a particular way, it was not. Thankfully not an anaphylactic allergy. So wanted this to be stellar…disappointing.

Both food and service were superb. Portions were oversized, and I wish we had been aware of that. Parking was a nightmare- take an Uber. We would definitely return for another meal.

John, the waiter, interrupted often and told inappropriate jokes even after I gave him several stern looks. Almost ruined a birthday and anniversary meal. Then waited 1 hour 30 minutes for the valet parking due to the Main Street art festival. My tenderloin steak had several strings of gristle in it. Four Winds Steak House has Reata beat hands down.

Very disappointed. This restaurant was rated very high. I had the chicken enchiladas, which is one of their specialties. If you like bland food, this is the place to go. Beans, rice had little flavor. The enchilada had chicken only, bland. The small muffins/scones before the meal were dry. The pork tacos were flavorful. I would not go back . Too many other good options!

The entire experience was fantastic… service, food, decor and ambiance. The ribeye and lemon blueberry crème brûlée (and gluten free bread) were absolutely worth eating too much!

Between the six of us we had two different chef's specials, the chicken fried steak, and the citrus encrusted chicken. ALL diners were VERY satisfied with their meals! One of the chef specials was a fish dish which included sides of rice and roasted vegetables and that got high marks for flavor. Fish had a shrimp topping that really added to the overall experience. My brother and I each got the 6oz steak and 5oz crabcake chef special. When asked for doneness my brother said 'medium ... medium-rare'. The waitperson said, "Oh, Medium rare +." When my turn came I repeated with med-rare+ and the steaks were exactly that! Amazingly tender, hot, medium dark pinkish red but not dark red. Delightful! Side of asparagus and garlic mashed were sublime. Asparagus was tender but tactile enough to not be at all mushy and garlic mashed lit up the plate. Crabcake was light yet solidly crab! Chicken fried steak was laid over a bed of garlic mashed and was bigger than my face. I didn't try it myself but more than half of it was brought home for leftovers so I'm hoping to get a taste today. My wife loved it. Since it was my Mom's birthday we'd let the front staff know my brother and his wife's joining us was a surprise. They were directed to the rooftop bar until our arrival. Their appearance was a great surprise and my Mom loved it. Scott, the manager, paid a visit to our table and wished my mom a happy birthday. Complimentary chocolate covered birthday strawberries were shared around the table at the end as we were all too full for any of the delicious looking dessert options. All-in-all a tremendous meal!

We loved the food during brunch at Reata, for such an upscale restaurant the prices at brunch are actually very reasonable. The service was a bit slow, as is the case at many places these days. Overall we had a great experience.
