We had such a wonderful time celebrating a graduation here! They had our table ready early and it was quiet enough to talk with one another. Wonderful food, the favorites were the tenderloin steak, crab cakes, and the warm skillet cookie. The drinks were fantastic as well. This is a more pricey experience, but it’s well worth it if you’re looking to splurge

Great service. The ranch rolls were really good. Ricotta is very spicy. Steaks were not cooked to desired temp, one over salted the other under salted. Overall great atmosphere and place but not worth the $$ also our wines were old and spoiled (turned to vinegar).

This place rocks, especially as choice pre-theater dinner. Validates valet ticket and free dessert included for the theater crew. Food is unfailingly delicious throughout 6-8 times eating here over past 6 months. Highly recommend!

You don’t come to Denver to eat fish, but Range came up when I filtered on seafood. It’s in the Renaissance hotel. Not many choices for a pescatarian, but what they have, they do well. I had a very nice Range salad with salmon (done perfectly) and the vegetarian Mediterranean pasta. The pasta is house made and you can tell. It comes in a white wine sauce with stem-on artichokes, olives, and red peppers. Well-curated wines by the glass. Attentive service.

This was my 2nd visit to range. Nice atmosphere, attentive staff, good food. The server was helpful in making recommendations and we were generally pleased with the meal. The Leadville Iceberg Wedge was ok but nothing special. Both entrees, the Angus Ribeye and Mediterranean Pasta, were great. Will definitely make a 3rd visit.

Great service, solid food, cocktails were excellent with a good spirits selection. Ambience is severely lacking in a brightly lit hotel basement. Would not return.

Food was fine, but not great. Hostess and getting seated seemed confusing even though we had a reservation. Our server was great and helpful. Mostly the ambience is what killed it for me. I had been excited to eat here, and for the price, I definitely expected more.

VERY over priced for food value, taste and overall disappointing. The only way to describe is that this place has great ambiance in lobby but the restaurant feels like a typical hotel place to eat if there are no other options - which in Denver right now there are. This menu changed in past years and pre-pandemic it was more reliable. Carrots over cooked ( thank you manager for taking them off bill); skirt steak entree was awful - three or four pieces of chewy, fatty beef and this huge mound of potatoes; side salads tasted like bagged super market greens with boring dressing; burger was just ok; deserts are dull. The prices are what are so shocking and we chose the least expensive ones so I would be cautious on spending more for any other entrees if they cant get the simple items well prepared. Service was fine and we tipped accordingly. This place needs a totally new concept and refresh

We have been here several times in the past and really enjoyed it. This time we came to celebrate my sons birthday and it was not amazing. They had asked if we were celebrating anything when I made the reservation and then again when we arrived. Both times I said yes a birthday, which they did nothing for.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed dinner at range before the Temple Buelle performance of “MJ” (which was amazing!). Their range salad with pomegranate seeds, pinion nuts and goat cheese was marvelous. We shared plates of duck and salmon, which were wonderful. A bottle of Duckhorn Merlot was a perfect accompaniment. The bread pudding and deep dish chocolate cookie - both ala mode, with a cup of delicious decaf coffee made the dinner complete. Compliments to the restaurant staff, especially “Al” (Alisha), for making the start of our date night perfect. Thank you, again.

Server worked hard. Had runners to help. Appetizers were good , drinks on point. Food was awful … Salty Salty Salty No taste of food but salt. 6 of us picked around our food. Super disappointed… scallops and salmon over cooked Steaks were Applebees quality.

Our server who was also the bartender was friendly and accommodating. We sat at the bar and were able to watch the women’s NCAA game so that was a plus. I did not receive my 1000 dining points though. Can this be fixed ? Overall great food and service

Great staff and wonderful food! We haven’t been there in a long time and were pleasantly surprised. We made a last minute reservation as we decided to eat downtown prior to the symphony and range was available, so glad we were able to get in!

Large portions. Went for lunch. It was dead but food was slow coming out and took a little longer than expected to get our order in considering. I don't understand why they advertise a club sandwich and it comes out like something griddled and melted from Jack in the Box. It was good, but don't call it a club.

I no longer work downtown and had not been to the Range in a long time. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The restaurant has very pleasant decor - but is very very loud making conversation difficult. I asked if I could get a cup of the butternut squash bisque. A cup not on the menu - but server said he would request. I was served and charged for a bowl. I ate it all - and was very good - but think I should have been told a cup was not available. Otherwise enjoyed evening very much.

Fabulous option for pre-show dinner (and they validate for valet parking!). I've eaten here ~5 times in the past 6 months and never been disappointed. Excellent!

Good brunch. The meat was not kept warm. And the variety of different options was limited. The $75 brunch did not include any drinks except water. There was live music outside the restaurant. We were seated inside so we could not hear it. We were told that there weee no tables available outside near the live music. The omelette station was too far from everything else. So, no one got omelettes. All in all, an okay experience.

Sorry to have to say this. The stations for food were all over the place. So it was very hard for my elderly limited vision mother to see. The server, I hate to mention was not that friendly. Her voice was so low I could barely hear her. She came around a few times, but this other bus man was way more attentive than her. From the beginning I told my mom the server was not nice. The food choices were not that great either. Dessert was horrible. One thing we ate was stale. I was born in the food industry, and I hate to complain, but for $75 and then $32 to server, $5 for bus guy, and $5 to valet I felt it was not worth it. One more thing, sitting where everyone was coming back and forth in the hallway was very distracting. It was open and nice to see the hallway, but I felt like people could just watch us eat.

Had a lovely dinner at range with a friend I had not seen in awhile. We ordered starters and salads because it was early. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. It was quiet enough to chat and our waiter was excellent!

I loved this place so much I ate there twice on my trip! First time I had the lamb loin on harissa rice pilaf. Perfectly grilled to medium rare, with a lovely wine sauce to drizzle on top. The second time I was with 3 colleagues. Tempted to have the lamb again but I went with the duck breast with scalloped potatoes and roasted carrots. The dark cherry sauce was the perfect touch. My companions enjoyed the short rib, salmon and flat iron steak. All got top reviews from them. Service was friendly, helpful and timely. Highly recommend.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. We were in a hurry as they accommodated us beautifully. The only draw back, and it was a big one, was the bone arrow starter. One was cooked nicely. The other one was barely warm and marrow was a congealed white clump of lard. It’s my understanding that it is unsafe to eat undercooked bone marrow. The staff brought me another which was cooked on top but bellow the surface was again congealed. Not pleasant. Otherwise the rest of the food was fantastic.

We enjoyed our experience trying out Range's menu for Denver Restaurant Week. Some items stood out more than others (the petite filet and lobster bisque), but all were delicious. Service was also kind, attentive, and professional.

Hostess was very unfriendly, bordering on rude. No hello, no welcome, no smile. Bad start for a dining experience. Waitress was efficient but not very friendly, drinks were weak, the meal however was great. We dined there the previous week, totally different experience, that's why we returned. The meal again was great, but the service was above and beyond, which is what we expected.

We dined at Range to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Our party included her boyfriend and his parents. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive, without being intrusive. Everyone enjoyed their meal and had a wonderful time.

Scallops were good. Chicken roll appt was tasty. Bisque was Luke warm. Not great. Sole was kinda dry. Not much flavor. Server was a good guy. Rest of staff was too. There are tables that really make you feel enclosed. We got one.

It may be listed as a steak house, but it's different from the usual crowd or fare you'd expect with that designation. Yes, there was a ribeye on the menu, but honestly, there were much better choices. The warm brussel sprout salad was phenomenal and the lamb was the best I've ever had (and I eat a lot of it). Our server was also remarkable for her attentiveness and recommendations.

Range was absolutely lovely! Great place to have an intimate dinner date! Loved the duck confit and scalloped potatoes and the signature cocktails were delightful. All of the servers were so kind and helpful when it came to guiding me in the right direction for an entree. I definitely feel like this was well worth the price for the quality and experience. I have been to many restaurants in Denver and it seems like I have paid about the same at other places but for much less value. Thanks!!

My husband and I had a date night here. Our server, Alex was exceptional. He was attentive and answered all of our questions. We shared the bone marrow and it was the star of the show. We will be back.
