Well when I looked at their website I was under the impression that they served brunch every day which was not the case. We specifically went there for brunch. The waitress was very good! The bisque was great! The railcar salad was not what I expected- included cilantro and raw onion, neither of which were listed under the explanation on the menu. Because I don’t like either one, I didn’t eat the salad.

Serice this night was off. We love Railcar, but this was disappointing. Tables that sat after us received their drinks and appetizers before we even placed our order. Serve seemed distracted. Overall, not in a hurry to return to Railcar, hoping it was just an off night. Never had a Dirty Martini in a short glass before, again not the norm for them.

The jambalaya this time was horrible. The shrimp were not peeled . There was no duck as advertised. It was tomato soup over white rice. I’ve had it here previously and it was great but this was awful

It was a Sunday evening so the restaurant wasn't very full. The food came out fast. We have been on previous occasions and this time it was just okay food wise.

Went to Railcar on Easter Sunday for brunch. It was fantastic as always. Wonderful service and food. Saw lots of good looking food at other tables, maybe someday I’ll try something other than their Cubano sandwich which is my usual because it is soooo good! Fantastic experience.

I got the steak medallions with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The steak and potatoes were amazing, but the asparagus was a big letdown. I don't think there was any seasoning to the asparagus at all, and it seemed like it was just steamed to cook. With so many better ways to prepare asparagus I was a little underwhelmed. Overall still a great meal, but for the price tag I expected better vegetables.

Fantastic food and great service made for a fun night in a new city for us. Our meals were delicious and looked great without being fussy. The prices seems totally in line with the quality of the food.

Food is always good, was a little disappointed in the service this time, had to ask for refills on the bottomless Mimosas and sat with dirty dishes for longer than necessary for how slow they were. I’d still go back.

Food was pretty great! However, the online menu photo of the Railcar Board (and the board I remember receiving at a previous visit last year) shows three cheeses, salami, prosciutto, mustard, jam, two types of bread, pickled red onions, pecans, gherkins, craisins, and sliced sausage. Despite what was shown on the online menu’s photo, our board came with two cheeses, four slices of salami, one slice of prosciutto, mustard and jam, one type of bread, and about twenty olives. Kind of a let down for the same price as the other, more plentiful board. While the prime rib French dip I ordered tasted wonderful, it did not contain any noticeable amount of caramelized onions that were mentioned on the menu description. Our server Marissa was fantastic. My partner’s steak frites was amazing, as was the French onion soup and Caesar salad. The Key Lime Pie is a must-have for dessert.

Not sure what was the point in reserving a table when we waited for 20 mins . Service was slow. Many items in the menu were actually missing . Quality was hit or miss. The schnitzel was over cooked , hard to chew and too thin . I did not finish the dish , and gave the feedback to the waitress. Nothing was done . I’ve a been a regular in Railcar , time for me to take a break until they get their s$&it together .

Entrees were excellent. The Baked Goat Cheese appetizer was primarily a baked container of marinara sauce with a suggestion of goat cheese.

No salad and no bread. At 90.00 I thought it a bit excessive. Portions were ok food was ok but not great. Just not up to par for all the times the wife and I have been there.

This was our first visit and we were not disappointed. Incredibly fast food service even though it was a busy Sat night. Varied and interesting menu. Reasonable range of prices. Our food was delicious. We will put Railcar American Kitchen in our regular rotation.

We enjoyed our meals very much, especially the raspberry beignets at the end! Our server was very busy and not always quick to get to us, but she was kind, and we really liked her. I appreciated that the staff members were helping each other out to make sure that everyone had a good experience. We enjoyed the lively atmosphere of good conversation and the quieter corner where we sat.

A nice experience for our first time there. The server was very pleasant and helpful. He recommended a couple drinks and didn't seem bothered or put out by a couple questions. A very natural and welcoming experience. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I would highly recommend eating here. I made a reservation at the last minute and am glad I did. This place is very popular and for good reason. Definitely one of the best choices for dining in West Omaha.

The food was very good. The service was not. Service was slow with poor timing of the courses. We ordered cocktails and appetizers at the same time. Got cocktails half way through the appetizers. Martini was no longer cold and the cheese in the olives had dissolved. We were told the bar was "backed up". We ordered a bottle of wine to have with dinner. As the food was being served we were informed by our waitress that they were out of the wine that we ordered as well as another that was similar in style and price. We eventually found one that they had in stock. My wife had to request ketchup to go with her hamburger and fries. When we got the bill I was upcharged $5 for the vodka in the Martini even though it was the one listed in the description for the drink. I was also upcharged $15 more than what the bottle of wine was listed for. The assistant manager blamed it on the updates or revision to the bar menu. They did reduce the bill by the $15. Bottom line...the food was good but the experience probably wasn't worth the price.

Service was great and the food was good. However, not 100% satisfied. My husband and friend both ordered ribs and they were over cooked. The char on the ribs wasn’t the typical good char when the bbq sauce caramelizes. No, it was burnt. Hopefully my husband will give the restaurant another go.

Celebrated New Year’s Eve and everyone enjoyed their meal. Limited menu but still good selections to choose from. Truffle fries and Brussels spouts were big winners.

On the Saturday evening before New Year's Eve, the waitress was appropriately observant and noted when we finished eating and asked about carry-out containers. It as a busy time, and all the waitstaff was moving through the restaurant quickly and efficiently. My roast beef included more fat that needed to be cut off can I expected. Nevertheless, I was pleased that it was cook to my request-rare! Overall, a pleasant mealtime .
