Our server was terrible. It took nearly 30 minutes to have him get us a beer and a non alcoholic drink. It was so bad another server thought we hadn’t been helped at all because we had nothing for so long. Food took forever to come out which couldn’t necessarily be the servers fault. Had a reservation for 8, got seated right away but didn’t get drinks until about 8:30 and food didn’t start coming out until 9:15. Overall not very thrilled with the restaurant especially considering the price point they are at.

Service was horrible. Sat in bar area. Witnessed the bartender give customers at the bar glasses that were dirty. Our server got our drink and appetizer order when we sat down. We waited 15 minutes and ended up leaving…we could see our drinks were rang in at the bar and ignored. Place was empty, it’s typically packed during the evening @ 6pm…this should’ve been our first red flag. Cancelled drinks and food and went somewhere else. Disappointing, usually love this place!

I will never patronize this establishment again. Absolutely abysmal customer service. Came with a party of 3 & they brought out my sushi & 45 minutes later we were waiting on the rest of my party’s order. It would have been rude to eat in front of everyone so I did not eat my sushi. 45 minutes later we are still waiting on our order. I flagged down my server & asked them to cancel our order & bring me the check for the appetizers we did receive. I got the same excuse that multiple people have referenced in their reviews “the kitchen is backed up” & “your food is getting ready to be plated” Reservation was for 6:30 & after 8pm we were getting lied to about our order. Total waste of my time & money!

Food was great, service was awful. We got almost all of our entrees within about 10 minutes then wewaited over 30 minutes for a mango lobster roll which was ordered at same time as everything else…. After receiving our last entree we ordered dessert and after waiting 20 minutes we asked for our check and to just cancel the dessert the waitress was like okay, she didn’t care that we had been waiting forever for things then took another 10 minutes to bring us the check! This is the second time I’ve had awful service here within past year. I think it’s too commercialized/chain feeling, I recommend going somewhere else for great sushi and service!

We have eaten here many times. Always have an amazing experience. This was not. Multiple drink orders were not put in (some cocktails, some not) so some people had to wait around. It was at least 10 minutes before the waitress and trainee came back around. Then the food was brought out horribly. 15-20 minutes between different rolls that were ordered at the same time. Then the only two entrees ordered didn’t come out until everyone else was already done with their rolls. One person had the steak fried rice (which is always the best fried rice we’ve ever had) came out with nuggets of beef jerky! Steak was burnt to a crisp and only had 5 pieces . Not at all what we are used to. Another couple ordered the filet, shrimp and chicken, they didn’t get their shrimp at all, and the filet had 6 small pieces. Again not at all what we are used to from RA. Staff all just hung out in the corner and did not wait on guests. Waitress mentioned the cooking staff was short handed but to me that is not an excuse. If you are short handed close some of the dining room to compensate for staffing. Overall we were there for 2 hours and that was not “lingering” time. That was just to sit down and eat get the checks and leave. Overall horrible experience. Truly hope the next visit is not a repeat of last night or it will most certainly be our last visit and/or recommendation of RA.

Our reservation was at 6:30, and we received all our food 1 item at a time. Our last entree arrived 8:09 and by this time our daughter didn’t even want it any longer. The server said the kitchen was backed up, then said our food was being plated, then said they were comping an appetizer for the time, it was just excuse after excuse, this seemed extreme for as many open/dirty tables. Never been there before, will not return!

Great food. Service had some hiccups. Forgot to bring appetizer until asked, slow with check, spillage at table. But I would recommend wholeheartedly given food, taste, quantity and quality

Service was slow despite the restaurant being nearly empty. There was limited selection of sake available due to being out of stock. There was no hot sake available at all. Our food orders came out late, and we didn’t get our order all together, twenty minutes between sushi rolls being delivered despite being ordered at the same time. When we ordered an additional plate later, it hadn’t been put in and we had to order it again. Our server only checked on us once and we had to wait a long while to flag her down to get our ticket to cash out.

The waitress's attitude right away made it clear she was disinterested. A few minutes later a new waiter said the waitress went home and he would take over. He had a friendly demeanor all evening, although he was quite inattentive to us, other than the initial check up after the first course was served. We had to ask him to clear our used plates 3 times in a row. The sushi/sashimi was excellent. Unfortunately both hot plates, were poor: steak teriyaki was overcooked, and did not seem to be a great cut of beef (I had to remove a tough piece from my mouth), and the salmon was similarly overcooked and tiny. We had to ask about the long wait for our hot plates, and then we waited a very long time for one desert, creme brulee. After 2.5 hours there, we were glad to leave. The restaurant seemed to be about 30% or less seated capacity. This place has a nice ambience for drinks outside in the summer, but I would not go there for dinner.

30 minute wait past reservation. Went to get a drink while waiting and told by bartender drinks were “on hold” due to being backed up. Got a table and had 4 restaurant week orders (4 courses per order)…we received them like this…2 received the sushi before the appetizer, then drinks came for all of us , followed by 3 appetizers, we then waited for 15 more minutes with no food/service. By this time we had been in the restaurant for over 2 hours, one guest received zero food and the rest partial of what was ordered. Not shockingly we decided to pack up and go. We were also seated by the main entrance door that wouldn’t close and had people seated awkwardly behind us in chairs waiting for tables. The food we had was good but they need to get their crap together.

Made a reservation and it was not honored. Ended up sitting by the door late which was extremely cold. Our server was unprofessional and did not hear any of our orders because they would not move around the table for some reason. We did not receive our drinks for 30+ minutes, and we did not receive everything we ordered. One person at the table was not able to even eat with us. Unfortunately, this was a disaster of a dining experience and we should have been refunded for several items. Instead, we got two $10 gift cards not redeemable that night… very bad way to say “sorry.”

Went for restaurant week and made the reservation through restaurant week site and when we got there they told us there was no restaurant week. They brought us rolls we didn’t order saying they were the ones we did order.

Great place - but had to wait a while for food. It was GOOOD but 2 hours is a long time for dinner...

It took 30 minutes just to get water!! The food was good but the service was lacking both times I went. Won’t be back.

Went for restaurant week experience for the first time. Wait people seem to be having a good time in the kitchen. Appetizers came out kind of in a hurry as if premade waiting. Taste was the same. Sushi came out and wife and I shared our sushi. The albacore seemed to be old and tough. Waiting for the steak dish and the steak was way overdone and full of gristle and fat. Rice even at an abundant supply was super dry. Dishes stayed on table for a very long time when the place was over staffed. If anyone ever had the real and good sushi would never go to this place again. This place is set up for parties with drinks being served. I feel sorry for the patrons that eat there on a usual basis. This is t a place for good sushi.

Service was pretty dismal we waited 30 minutes to be greeted before we flagged down the manager. Our server let us know she was new-no big, we got our food going and all was fine. Then she just kept disappearing. We ended up waiting another 30 minutes after we ate to flag her down for our tab. She was nice enough but no sense of urgency. For food that was just ok it was definitely not worth the time or money.

From the host to our server, no one seemed to be enjoying themselves. I'm glad we got there in time for happy hour prices otherwise it would have been over priced. It was cold outside and with the concert floor, it was extremely drafty and our feet were extremely cold. Just not a great experience. It also did not help that we were there for a birthday celebration, which we noted on the reservation yet not one word was said or asked about it. If not for the $20 coupon, I would not be back.

Drinks were made wrong and the server told the manager ahead of bringing it that it looked off and she made her take it anyway rather than fix it prior. Food came out at very different times. Person who brought the food split our soups when putting them on the table. Also almost every dish was missing its sides. Ordered the same drink twice and it was different both times. For the price you have to pay to eat here it just wasn’t worth the hassle having to ask for everything to be fixed because it came out wrong.

Ra has gone way down hill! We'll never go back. Took 20 minutes to be greeted at our table, they delivered the wrong food to us after waiting an hour, sushi came out with zero presentation, and tasted like everything was fried in old oil. Who fries sushi? We were never offered a refill on any of our beverages, and server never even offered us soy, ginger or wasabi. Too bad for as expensive sushi is.
