Zou Zou’s is a lively and modern Eastern Mediterranean restaurant from chef Juliana Latif, who spent years working at some of the most notable restaurants throughout New York City, including The NoMad. The menu is inspired by and celebrating the cuisine and flavors of the Eastern Mediterranean region, bringing in influences from Lebanon, Israel, Turkey, Egypt, Syria, and Jordan, among others.

Zou Zou’s is located within the Manhattan West Plaza, on the ground level of Pendry Manhattan West. If arriving at 33rd Street (between 9th & 10th), follow the walkway to the plaza, turn left, and find the Zou Zou’s entrance on your left.

If arriving at the Ninth Avenue entrance (at 32nd Street), walk through the plaza towards Whole Foods – Zou Zou’s will be on the right side of the plaza just past the NHL Experience Store.

    The food was ok, the service was fine. I didn’t find anything spectacular about this place. I wouldn’t recommend this place, there are 24,599 other restaurants in Manhattan you could visit before you visit this place. Honestly, I’ve had better street food.

    We went for brunch and ordered a bit of everything. Absolutely incredible brunch experience and food. Excellent service from a very kind staff. Can’t wait to return!

    Food is good and the restaurant is beautiful but our service wasn’t great. Had to ask twice for the check by people other than my assigned waiter and no one came back over to ask how the food was, ask if we needed anything else, refill drinks or offer dessert. Too expensive for bad service.

    Too noisy and tables are too close to on another. The next table kept bumping into my friend’s chair. The people at the bar were leaning on the railing towards our table

    Our party of 7 had a reservation at 8:30pm on a Tuesday night and it was also noted on the reservation that this was to celebrate a special occasion. However we were actually seated at 9pm and they added a single order of the fried dumplings dish (was not told the name)- 7 in total, so merely one for each of us, with their compliments. In addition, we had ordered the Fattoush salad, which requires tapping and breaking the top crust. Our server did this so aggressively that a large piece actually fell wayside, rendering it inedible, and all of us wondered why he looked so miserable. Had it not been for the great company, this would have been an immensely disappointing experience especially given the occasion.
