The potato and spinach stuffed flautos are boring with mostly potato inside. Couldn’t even taste the spinach. These need a serious makeover!!!!

Lovely lunch experience with the service, great quality food and drinks. Zocalo can get super busy in the evenings and weekends. The Roseville location is very nice with outdoor seating and dog friendly. I especially love their mixed taco plate and their blackberry margaritas on the rocks. It's my go to every time I come here.

We’ve been for diner several times and always a pleasure. Food is always tasty, service is a little slow at times due to high volume of patrons. I decided to try for Mother’s Day brunch, wife had the usual and I tried the French toast with bacon and eggs. I should have been more traditional. Dennys slam is more tasty. Oh well dinner from now on

Very hyped restaurant, the check o staff was not friendly at all. I have had better Mexican food for sure and can’t believe this is Michelin recommended restaurant as food was not at all good. Pork was very dry, enchiladas were very basic flavors. May be their other locations are better, but would not recommend the Roseville location.

Zocalo was the perfect location for my daughter’s bridal shower! They were exceptionally accommodating and flexible. The food was excellent as we’ve come to expect. I appreciate the kindness from everyone who helped with our reservation and our wonderful server!

Our waitress was amazing! The food was alright but has been better in the past. They were also dealing with a really big carry out order. The people that sat next to us had a little boy that was running around their table screaming repeatedly and very loud. Besides that it was a good experience when we could hear each other talk.

Our three meals came so quickly we were surprised. The reason was because they were all barely lukewarm temperature, not hot. My chicken enchilada tasted much better when I ate it later, microwaving it at home to get it hot and adding extra sour cream. My friend's tacos weren't that great either because the tortillas were gummy. Strange for tacos. So it seems the kitchen prepares a bunch of plates before the orders even come in and they sit on the counter too long. They could also offer better or additional dessert options. Didn't order a drink, but my bill came to $48 after tip. Pretty pricey for lunch. It was also terribly noisy and difficult to carry on a conversation. Had to really strain to hear each other. I will say though that our server was very attentive and pleasant and did take care of having our food reheated.

The restaurant was very appealing and the environment was really nice. The service was quite good. They have a beautiful outdoor patio which was very attractive. The food was a bit pricey but by today’s standards it was very good and the portions were quite large. The plate was very attractive and the food was delicious. I have been to three different locations in the Sacramento area and I would recommend this place to anyone.

It was a birthday celebration and we had a wonderful experience. Food was delicious and thank you for wonderful service. I think our server was Bobbi (girl) who was very pleasant. She was very patient and took her time to listen.

This was my THIRD time this month at the Roseville Zocalo's location! Why? Because it was my birthday month and everyone knows where to take me for good food and great margaritas! Our server was amazing, always smiling, always helpful and knowledgeable about the food. This time I had the Chile Relleno dish with a Guava Margarita. Yum!

Terrible service and food. I have been a long time customer but each visit the food and service just go down. Made a reservation online only to wait 15 minutes when we arrived. Got seated, waited another 20 to be acknowledged. They claimed that they were so busy but most of the tables sat empty. Managment is terrible. Just a bunch of kids who know nothing about customer service. Very slow for a Friday night. Seems like less and less people are coming in.

I hate that we had a terrible experience, since I come here all the time. This has been my go to for lunch and dinner. I made a reservation for 7:30 but we weren’t seated until about 45 minutes later. It would’ve been ok if the lady who came over to discuss our wobbly table hadn’t shrugged the whole thing off. She just kept shrugging and saying “yeah there’s nothing I can do about that”. Our server was really nice though. Honestly I don’t know that I’ll be back. They’re really nice when things go great but when there’s a problem- on their end- they gave the impression they could care less. Don’t know that we’ll keep coming back like we used to 😭😭😭

I have almost nothing but great things to say about eating at Zocalo. We came here for my birthday, were seated quickly, the service was impeccable. We never really waited for much, surprising given it was a Friday night. The food? Amazing! We were all happy - I got the Cochinita Pibil and it was so flavorful, tender and melt in your mouth amazing. My hubs got the three taco plate, my son got carnitas tacos and MIL got Camarones Enchipotlsdos - all were thoroughly enjoyed! I would honestly recommend coming here to anyone and I'm already thinking about when we're going back. If I could have changed anything, they were two minor things... My mother-in-law is a little hard of hearing and we were seated outside, right below a speaker playing music kind of loud. We were outside, it's Friday night at a Mexican restaurant... so it's to be expected but I wish the music was about half as loud. I also wish that they had something chocolate or fruity on their dessert menu. Or sopapillas! Sopapillas dusted with cinnamon & sugar with ice cream and chocolate sauce? Yum! Mango sorbet? Margarita Key Lime Pie? Mexican Hot Chocolate Pie? But their lack of a different dessert options would definitely not deter me from visiting. It most certainly did not disappoint! Thank you for making my birthday dinner amazing.

Took my Godmother to Zocalo's for her birthday lunch. She is older and is never 100% happy with any of the restaurants that I have introduced her to. I have taken her to some pretty highly recommended places before, and I usually get a "meh" afterwards. Not this time. She RAVED about the food (she had the Baja fish tacos) and of course I was impressed as I always am (I had the Cochinita Pibil tacos). The pickled onions here are to DIE for, by the way. She had a beer and I had the blackberry margarita. I meant to take photos of the beautifully presented food by the top notch waitress...but we forgot to do that in our excitement. Zocolo's never disappoints and she is STILL talking about it.

It was good but nothing special. Sooooo noisy. There were four of us and we had to work very hard to follow the conversation. I like the patio but weather did not cooperate. I would not go again if I had to sit inside.

I loved the experience at Zocalo, including the service and the food. However, the noise was so loud I couldn’t hear my daughter sitting across the table from me. Weather permitting, we’ll sit outside next time.

We loved all the food and service but the price way too high. The Salmon Bowl used to be $16., now it is $22. Which is a very high price for a lunch.

Our experience was so welcoming and all of the service staff was friendly and attentive. The chips and salsa were very good as were the fish tacos. A very fun birthday celebration and the whole restaurant sang! Loved it.

Our waiter was terrific! He offered to pick his favorite tequila to put in our margaritas, and he did not disappoint. We loved it so much that we took shots of the tequila after our margaritas. The mole enchiladas were delicious and overall we had a wonderful experience.

We eat here frequently and have mostly been disappointed. Service was mediocre and the food was just ok. I always love the one downtown much better

My friend & I only get together every 3 months! We only go to Zocolos at the Fountains , we only get fish tacos , wine , & sometimes dessert! We always have soooooo much news to get caught up on & the waiters or waitresses are ALWAYS BEYOND AMAZING..accommodating., fun, thoughtful, efficient, personal, & the reason we each travel 45 mins to get there‼️We have NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED IN THE MANY YEARS WE’VE BEEN MAKING IT OUR DESTINATION ‼️3/6/2024

We had a party of 11 and of course not all arrived on time. The staff were very accommodating, and attentive. Very enjoyable birthday celebration.

We were treated good, but it was sort of quick because we had no waiter, it was a manager or assistant manager that was helping us. It felt rushed and she forgot drinks a few times we had to repeat what we wanted. But mostly what was off was the food. We are regular customers at Zocalo and we most of the time enjoy the food. This time the food was bland, no flavor to it unfortunately which was surprising.
