We lovvvvved Zinque. Amazing vibes and truly a great experience except the service was not amazing. I asked for my burger without any thousand island and they smothered it with 1000 island but the manager took it off the bill. Decent prices and I highly recommend the salmon Crudo.

Good and bad. Pork belly tacos were great. Pizza was nasty. Frozen from the market is better. Meatballs had a lot of flavor but were WAY overcooked. Hard a a rock. Quesadilla was very good. Good prices. Excellent service. Probably won’t go back.

Great experience at Zinque. The location was perfect for a bite before our show. All our dishes and drinks were delicious. We would definitely go back.

My friends and I visited prior to a show at the Orpheum, and we loved Zinqué! The food was absolutely delish and the vibe/ambiance were perfect: great music, unhurried, great service. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

This restaurant was so convenient as we were attending a show at the United Theatre, literally next door. And, they had outdoor seating, which I always prefer. The waiter was great, and answered all our questions. I had the spinach/broccoli/curry soup, so good. The avocado/tomato tartine was more a bruschetta than a tartine, but was very tasty. My friend had the quiche, which was also delicious. A perfect choice if you're going to the theatre there!

We went to Zinque because it is next door to the United Theater. We had a number of appetizer type dishes which we shared. They were all unique and excellent. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We sat inside on the southern side of the restaurant which was quieter than the northern side. We will go back if we are in the area.

I found the service to be really standoffish and rude. I asked to move to a different table because it was really windy day and we are right by the front door, which was open, once we moved to a new table we never had a server come back up to check in with us to make sure we had everything or to order new drinks from. I literally had to find and flag someone down every time we needed anything.I definitely would not recommend for that reason even considering that we actually enjoy the food because service matters just as much as quality of food.

Food is good, service is friendly and the location was great for a concert we were attending later in the evening. The noise however and the continual screeching of the metal dining chairs against the bare concrete floors overpowered the experience. Seriously as a designer, the fact that the restaurant had made no effort the mitigate the shriek of metal on concrete or the sheer volume of conversational noise was enough for me not to return

I was going to a concert at the United Artists (formerly Ace Hotel) theater next door, so it was a perfect choice. Don't tell anyone, but the 3 tapas for $20 during happy hour is an amazing deal on top of the craft drink specials. Service was great, ambience friendly, will return.

The food was fantastic. Absolutely delicious. The service, however, left a bad impression and we do not plan to return. We were served tonic water when we asked for sparkling water, and when we ran out of both water and cocktail, nobody asked if we wanted more to drink. We ordered 2 starters, a pasta entree, a steak frites, and a side dish. Five minutes after ordering, my husband's rigatoni came out. The staff member looked perplexed when I told him that we haven't had our appetizers yet. Twenty minutes later, someone tried to deliver a rigatoni again, and I again explained that while we ordered it, we have not yet had our appetizers. He took it away looking confused, and a minute later, both appetizers, my steak, and the side dish all appeared at once. We thoroughly enjoyed the prosciutto with pear and burrata, as well as the grilled shrimp (though I recommend that the restaurant indicate in the description on the menu that the shrimp is spicy). I then moved on to my now-cold steak, which still packed excellent flavor and the fries were perfectly crisp. Still no rigatoni. I flagged down a staff member to tell him we are missing my husband's pasta entree that was attempted to be delivered twice before our starters, which he said he would check on. We also asked for another bottle of sparkling water, and someone delivered tonic water yet again. It wasn't until after I finished my steak that we were able to get the attention of our server to tell her the pasta was missing, which she apologized for and said she thought we cancelled the dish from the order. She went to the kitchen and came back less than a minute later with a pasta that had been sitting under the heat lamp for a long time. It was tasty, but clearly not freshly prepared. I have nothing to report on desserts because we went elsewhere. I don't blame our server specifically because there was a service failure on multiple fronts. If you go, make sure you order one course at a time!

The service was great, very attentive. The appetizer was great (fried artichokes) and the burgers were good (a little overcooked based on the temperature we ordered). The drinks were great, and considering how busy they were, came out very fast. We were seated at a two person table against one of the walls and the seats were soft cushioned armchairs with a little pillow for your back. Very comfortable and welcoming. The only real negative was the sound level. Very noisy because it looked like there wasn't any real noise reducing covering on any wall or the high ceiling. Would recommend giving them a try if you are seeing a show at any of the local theaters.

Super friendly and accommodating staff. Even on a busy night, everything was served in a timely manner. I can say that my salmon with forbidden rice and ratatouille was superb, uber-fresh with a light crust on the salmon, Absolutely delicious. Two friends that ordered burgers said they were pretty good, no raves. The flank steaks and fries were enjoyed by a couple others. All in all, an inviting, positive experience. Will certainly try their other locations in West Hollywood and Century City. Thanks, Zinque, well done!

We were sat at a high top table and offered a Happy Hour Menu that was available only at high top tables. When the bill came, the Happy Hour discount was applied to the food, but not the drinks. The excuse was inconsistent with the what the menu offered. Unfortunate ending to an otherwise pleasant evening.

We were very impressed with the food and extremely pleased with the large selection of vegetarian options. We ordered 2 appetizers, 3 entrees, and a side of potatoes gratin for the table. The gratin and the french fries that came with the steak frites were the stars of the show. This place definitely does potatoes right. Our only complaint about the food was that the steak frites plate was ordered medium rare and delivered medium well. Not even a big enough deal to send it back. Cocktails were lovely. Overall it was a great meal.

I actually ate twice in one day…take away lunch, and a small dinner before our theater date “next door”. The food was fabulous, and I had the “best I’ve ever had” potatoes dauphinois at Zinque. Prices were fair for the quality.

The food was amazing!! Very odd, I was asked for a credit card prior to ordering as if I was at the bar. I don’t drink and have not eaten in DTLA since lockdown. Is asking for CC a new thing? I have no issue giving my CC before my meal but are thinkings so bad that restaurants need to resort to having a CC on file before they take your order??

Came here before a show and got stuck in horrible traffic. The host was so kind and held our table when I called, was very understanding. We got seated right away and when we mentioned we were going to the show next door, our waiter took great care of us and made sure we got in and out in a considerate amount of time. And the food was delicious— would highly recommend!

We had tickets for a show at the Orpheum and wanted to have dinner near the theater. Zinqué was one block away and had availability for their 4-course Valentine's Day dinner. The service was wonderful and our server was very attentive. My wife had the steak frites and I had the duck confit. Both were on point. I don't know if these dishes are typically on their menu, but I would return to Zinqué next time we are in the theatre district for a show.

Excellent choice for dinner before an Orpheum show. Service was good, food came quickly, coq au vin was a treat to share. A tad noisy but it was a full house………basically All Good!

We picked Zinque because it was right next door to an event we were going to at the Ace Hotel theater. When we arrived we were immediately greeted and taken to our table. We ordered a hamburger and eggplant dish. Both were delicious and the service was perfect. The waitstaff and bus people were efficient and helpful. The only downside is that the noise level is very high and difficult to have a conversation unless you yell.

Our appetizer came out incorrect, but the server fixed it quickly. Our main courses came out less than 5 minutes later, so had to just sit until we were finished with the appetizer. The main dishes were ok but not amazing, lacking a little bit of flavor. Ambiance was very cool, drinks were great. I would definitely go back, but just for drinks and appetizers.

I knew nothing about Zinque when I booked it. All I knew was it was next door to the venue we were going to. It was a nice surprise. The service was excellent, the food was excellent. And the ambience was fun. I will definitely go again.

My husband and I came here before a show at the Belasco. The Moules-Frites were yummy! The Tomato Avocado Tartine was super fresh and delicious. My favorite of the night was the Espresso Martini! Would definitely come here again for a pre-show dinner!
