Had oysters which were fresh and tasty and had the peruvian seafood stew which was plentiful and outstanding.

It was okay, nothing special. The very first impression was not very pleasant, as one of the waitresses was grumpy. When I asked about the oysters, it was obvious she did not care at all. She ignored my question and said, “You can order whatever you want to order,” then left. The red wine was served super warm in very scratched glasses. However, another waiter saved the evening and the bar's reputation. He switched the wine, offering us white wine because it would be much cooler. He was very attentive and answered all our questions. Regarding the oysters, the menu says there are four different types, but honestly, they all seemed the same to us. Same size, no difference in taste. When we visited other oyster bars that claimed to have a variety of oysters, it was true—they differed in size, taste, and consistency. To sum up, the overall impression is simply “okay.” There are nicely presented, delicious meals and a nice atmosphere. If you are lucky to get a pleasant waiter, you will most likely have a very nice experience. However, the oysters are rather basic, no matter which type you choose, the red wine is super warm, and there is a chance you might get an uncaring server. That is why I give it 3/5.

2nd time here. We had a very good experience. Tasty and fresh food as well as impeccable service. Will go back 👍🏻

The oysters were delicious and at $3.95 a piece they should be. My companion had the scallops and declared them very good and I had the lobster roll which was disappointingly very thin on lobster but with a fat price tag. Potato chips were not exactly a filling side however the accompanying slaw was good. Avoid the lobster roll if you don't want to leave hungry otherwise it's a nice restaurant.

Delicious food in a cosy ambience. Our only negative is the service is too fast! We like to sit and chat between courses

We returned to this established local restaurant after many years and wondered why we had passed it by for so long. Lovely brick-walled decor and more spacious layout than remembered. Attentive, professional service without any pressure, despite a busy Saturday night. Wonderful tender mussels, easily shared with two, in a tomato & cream sauce (spooned to bottom of the casserole) with a toasted baguette. Fresh ahi tuna with several salad sides and the generous Peruvian fish stew were both without fault & beautifully laid out. No room for dessert but takeaway for tomorrow! Very reasonable pricing for glasses of wine was also welcome in today's inflated prices for full bottles.
