The noise level was extremely high. Something needs to be done to lower the noise level. You definitely need to consult a professional to create an atmosphere where you can have conversation with your dinner companions.

Food and style are top notch in this very bustling spot. But the busy atmosphere can lead to minor service lapses-wine pairings out of sync with food course delivery-and the noise level makes for strained listening and conversation. We’d go back, but sit at the bar where we could keep our heads close. Not suitable for large parties wanting to comfortably hear each other.

I have heard nothing but great things about this restaurant. It was good but just didn't live up to all the hype. There were a few outstanding items on the menu - the brussel sprouts, cauliflower... but most were very good, but not memorable. The portions are really small, so you can rack up quite a bill.

Somewhat disappointed as compared to same restaurant in wash.DC. While the price point was similar and reflecting nyc costs, we had the same menu and ordered as we did in DC. Appetizers come out quickly and are excellent. We again ordered the whole branzino and Brussels sprouts. They were were well prepared EXCEPT they were bordering on cold, as if kept on the pass too long waiting to be picked up by the serving staff. And the restaurant was 1/2 empty…so no excuse for the temperature! But warm pita bread was almost worth the visit///not quite! Think we’ll skip the nyc outpost on future visits to nyc.

Loved loved loved it. Flavors, atmosphere, design, service all top notch. The manager Michael was a the most enthusiastic and charming professional we met during our NY trip. Bravo José Andres and team.

My 69th birthday dinner with family. Food was outstanding, staff was exceptional, meal was fun. Extra nice wines. Surprise dessert. All and all A++ my favorite is the human with lamb, but everything was exceptional.

We celebrated my husband’s 62nd birthday at Zaytinya. Everything was terrific. The food was delicious and we loved the plate sharing. Shout out to our amazing waiter, Anthony. He was kind, attentive and suggested the right dishes to order for us first timers. Atmosphere was beautiful and the rest of the staff, from hostesses to busboys were also kind and attentive. We look forward to our next visit. They the brussel sprouts! They were so so so delicious!

The food was wonderful but our service was spotty at best - we had to flag servers to take our order and request our orders more than once. This was my first time having table service instead of the bar. I’ll stick to the bar.

Exceptional experience. Gorgeous space but not any more impressive than the food. We opted for the Cookbook testing menu. An overwhelming amount of small plates for a modest $90 per person. Our only suggestion would be for the staff to clear the previous course plates before a the next course of 4 more small plates are served. At times it was awkward. Otherwise a splendid dining experience. .

I love this restaurant - the food is always exceptional and the scene is always lively (and maybe a bit on the loud side when at full capacity). And while the service is good, it's not great. There definitely seems to be fewer servers than when Zaytinya first opened, so it's just a little more difficult to flag someone down for refills or to order something additional when it's really busy. Not a terrible misstep, just something to note...

The food is excellent! Small portions and you can try a variety of things. Wine by the glass was a little pricey…but it was excellent. They were very busy and seating was very close to adjacent tables. So makes it a bit loud

We ordered 3 dishes with my wife. 2 of them were cold. They took it back made new ones for us which were not cold anymore. Then we order dessert to share. It was ok. When we asked for the check she said dessert was complementary. When I saw the check I thought it is someone else’s check. There were our wines on the check the rest was something else. Waitress said ‘ohh it is cheaper like this because we got you free dessert’ we were super confused. Then she brought our check which was our check without the dessert and it was cheaper. It is just unnecessary things for us to think about it. We came there to enjoy our dinner on Sunday. The only good thing about this restaurant is ambiance.

Everything about this restaurant was impeccable. The atmosphere, the design down to the napkins-all very much with a Mediterranean vibe, the people that served us, the food--all wonderful. What we appreciated the most was that our waitress talked with our 2 1/2 year old grandson and brought his food right away so he didn't have to wait. She also accommodated all of our food sensitivities and allergies without a blip. The hummus, babaganoush, the 2 different pitas, the fatoush salad, the halloumi, the fish and a few others were very very good.

The restaurant is large and quite active, but very nicely decorated. The food was outstanding with all the maze we orders being very delicious. It is not inexpensive, but when the quality is good, no complaints!

Our server was Mo and she was fantastic. We just followed her suggestions on what to order and everything was incredible. From the fresh pita to the hummus, brussel sprouts, caluiflower and chicken skewer, we loved it all! Decor is beautiful, ambiance is cool and the vibe was great.

A great open space that is beautiful and comfortable. It was a perfect place for a group of old friends to catch up, without feeling rushed to get the next table seated. Would definitely come back!

The food has such a great mixture of middle eastern flavors and also many great takes on ordinary brunch fare that resulted in an improvement on the traditional plus memorable dishes! We also wanted be there to honor Jose Andres, a modern hero, and his World Central Kitchen team who risk their lives everyday for others.
