    We had the chef's choice -- tasting menu selections from the cookbook. Terrific!!! Slightly disappointing desserts. eg. Olive oil cake was random. Lifeless. We were too satisfied to care. And staff cleared the plates just a bit too quickly. Not much time for enjoyment and digestion between delectable courses. (we understand you are trying to turn the tables over. Still...another minute or two wouldn't hurt) I'd already purchased the cookbook and now know which recipes I will be targeting first. Congrats on providing an outstanding dining experience.

    Such delicious fresh food. The red pepper and feta dip is a must, and the grilled haloumi with pistachios and pomegranate seeds a treat.

    Our waiter was not very attentive, multiple times we had to request items and refills from others. And at one point we had to get and ask him for more water and he forgot some of our food.

    The servers forgot my table multiple times. Only 2’guests at the table including myself. The food was in the sun melting and overheated. They brood me a Diet Coke after I asked 3 times. We never got our main course and I had to ask for the check 3 times. It was a horrendous experience for a $240 meal.

    At last, a perfectly beautiful day in DC and enjoying lunch in the outdoor space at Zaytinya made it even more delightful. Excellent service - thank you, Marvin. That, plus beautifully prepared food made it a lovely occasion. Zaytinya was the first restaurant we visited when we moved to DC in 2010 and it is still a favorite.

    Delicious tasting menu, and wine pairing. Lovely service. Inside is a little loud, we found it hard to hear our server and each other at times. For some GREAT flavors, (and some new ones to us) this is a wonderful restaurant.

    This Jose Andres’ restaurant came highly recommended. If you want a nice quiet place then this is not it. It’s bustling with customers and noise but in a good way. It also means it was hard to hear our server and my husband and I had to talk a little louder so we could hear each other (perhaps it was where we were seated which was right by the main entrance). The food was good but I expected a lot better and sadly, I was not so much in awe of the dishes we ordered. Our order came very quickly and in quick succession leaving us rushed to eat what is on the table to make room for the other plates. In that respect while service was great, the overall dining experience leaves much to be desired. It could be better. The meal price itself was reasonable. We really enjoyed the dessert of Turkish Coffee chocolate cake and the Turkish Coffee itself. We also loved the pita with the olive oil they served at the beginning. We also loved the Turkish Style Pastirma with apricot! These definitely hit the spot!
