We were very grateful for the service. We didn’t feel pressure to leave and found the staff all very respectful. The food was lovely and we had a beautiful night.

I went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We had a reservation, but the staff passed us by without a greeting or even a glance. Despite being a small restaurant, the 4-5 staff members showed no interest in us. We waited in the middle of the restaurant for them to seat us. They didn't even give us menus, so we had to order late. And finally, we waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for the food we ordered. I thought they might have forgotten our order or that the food normally takes that long, but wouldn't it have been nice if they had warned us that we would have to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for food? Unaware, we started drinking wine while expecting our food. It was truly the worst service. We finished a bottle of wine before the food came out, and even then, they tried to charge us for a new wine when we asked for a refill without knowing we had already ordered one. I felt sorry and embarrassed for ruining my boyfriend's birthday. I wanted to move to another restaurant, but how could I find one for my boyfriend's birthday on a Saturday night? The staff, who had ignored us and pretended not to know us, apologized when the food arrived, and I had to pay $241 for that food. Was the food delicious? I don't really know. I can't remember what the food tasted like because of their ignorance and my guilt towards my boyfriend. I felt embarrassed by the absurd service and the staff's ignorance, and I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. Worst restaurant ever.

Zama was a mixture of good tasting and a little disappointing. The steak was very expensive and not cooked to how I liked it but the beef empanadas were very good. My biggest problem was everything was of a small size eg the cerviche, the steak even the empanadas was an odd number. For an expensive menu they should not be stingy
