Yuta was the name the Ute Indians called the area and themselves, meaning "mountain top" or "people who live high is the mountains." Legend has it, when Spanish explorers arrived and asked the natives what this area was called, they were told "YUTA." Its mountains have seen many cultures pass through or inhabit, starting with the Uto-Aztecan Native Americans; then, the Utes. As US western expansion continued, more cultures moved through the area – from as far away as Eastern Europe and China. Drawing on all of these cultures, we are defining a regional cuisine true to Utah, featuring a wood-burning hearth, and with Lynsey Gammon, our Blue Sky farmer who uses the ultimate in organic farming practices.

Overall, the location, restaurant service and food is excellent. My only issue is the price for the portioning. We have no problem paying top dollar for great food. We have spent $100s on top-end meals many, many times. Having moved to Utah from NYC we are always on the lookout for really good food. Utah is severely lacking for options at the top tier. Yuta's food is top notch. My lobster tortellini and my wife's bass were excellent. The snacks and apps were awesome. We loved every bite. My one problem is price point. I would say the price for the portions is probably about 25% inflated. Very small portions. To finish it off, $20 for every dessert that were a fine size for dessert but really only worth $12-$14. I know, the place charges $2,000 - $5,000 a night for their hotel rooms so they are going to overprice everything but they could do better on their food.

Stunning views and lovely atmosphere. A bit overpriced for the small portions. Sunchoke appetizer and lemon meringue tarts were divine highlights of the meal.

Great romantic place for a meal. Gorgeous setting in the mountains, nice layout of the restaurant makes for a romantic getaway. The food was exceptional and well presented. I'd recommend bringing your own wine, even with the hefty corkage fee as the wine list is heavily marked up. Yuta goes head-to-head with the Nelson Cottage as the best dining experience in the Wasatch Back region!

Incredibly beautiful experience starting off with the interaction with the sommelier. The black caviar appetizer and pork chop main course set the bar really high. It's probably THE best pork chop I've had prepared for me. The ambience, the service, absolutely everything enjoy this place is truly exceptional

I expected an expensive and lovely meal/dining experience. What we got was a nice meal that was extremely overpriced (even for fine dining) and an average dining experience. I have eaten at Michelen star rated restaurants in New York City that weren’t nearly as pricy. Despite the restaurant being less than half full, rather than sitting us near the windows overlooking the mountains they sat us at a high top table adjacent to the open kitchen. Server was pretentious and made recommendations that were only to upsell or have us order more than necessary. Menu had “snacks” and “appetizers” sections. Rather than recommend one or two that would be good for our party of six we ordered what turned out to be way more than needed. By the time my entrée arrived, I was too full to eat it, and I told the waiter that. No Apologies, and he wrapped up my $58 fish entree in a to go box. The sommelier only recommended bottles that were $500 and up. We were there celebrating an anniversary so we did order one dessert to share - tiramisu. It was very below average, and despite being shared among six people was not finished. Only after we ate that and had coffee did they bring a small chocolate pudding dessert for the anniversary. It would’ve been nicer if they brought that first and we didn’t order the other dessert. While all of the food was very good, only a couple of items were what I would consider memorable or above average. Despite that, the prices and the service left a bad taste in my mouth.

Absolutely stunning location. All of the staff were very welcoming and kind. The food was out of this world. Highly recommend the tomahawk steak.

We had an amazing experience. The food was delicious as well as the cocktails. Corkage fee was a bit much at $60, but less expensive than 2 glasses of wine and we got to take the rest home. Beautiful restaurant with valet parking.

Unique location up in the mountains with a an upscale ambience. Food options were very creative and unique. We had a unique situation where 2 members of our group of 6 had to leave early so we asked for those plates to be expedited, which they were (Yuta was very accommodating). However the other 4 main courses came out cold which was disappointing. They did comp us on desert, but given the price point, the cold main courses took away from our experience.

this is a nice restaurant in an amazing setting. It’s worth a visit. For a lodge that is extremely exclusive. The restaurant prices were relatively reasonable.

We have dined a few times now. Ambiance is very nice and service is fantastic. I draw a line there. Unfortunately when I get the bill it just doesn’t justify my taste. For the price, I think you should walk away with something that stands out. Instead I just think that was expensive. Mary’s chicken presented wasn’t much different than what you present at your home. Was just slightly warm by time served. I’m not expert but having a tray with huge cuts of meat just sitting out on counter where people walk in isn’t sanitary. Also in full view of the dinning room. Unfortunately think this will be our last visit.

They charged $225 for a Tommahawk Steak and it took 1 hour and 15 minutes to serve. Once we recieved the steak was less than warm..

Honestly, one of the best meals we’ve had in Utah in 3 years of living here. We came for the Valentine’s Day pre-fixe with our infant because it was his 7 month birthday and we had the audacity to want to bring him and be together as a family. Everyone was above and beyond accommodating and of course I called after making the res to confirm we were good to go. Our baby is good about being out but still! They were so sweet about it and didn’t bawk that we were attempting a tasting course with a baby. And it was absolutely delicious from start to finish. We love you Blue Sky/Yuta ❤️❤️❤️

An amazing meal! Both their brunch and dinner service are fantastic. The views during the day are spectacular and the interior design really shines in the evening. One of the best meals I’ve ever had in Park City with definitively the best service. Truly a hidden gem.

Excellent food, drinks and service. We had the caviar hash browns and crisp followed by sea bass and short ribs. Don’t miss the signature cocktail! Our server was great. Beautiful location and property. Reserve your Uber ahead of time! Highly recommend for a special night and meal.

We had an amazing experience at Yuta for my mother’s birthday. The team made it an incredibly special night. My mom can’t stop talking about it. The food was creative and delicious. The service was great. Stuart went out of his way to make it extra special. The restaurant design is stunning. Thank you!!

Yuta was spectacular. It’s a beautiful setting and lodge, but that is outdone by the incredible food. There were 7 of us, and we tried most of the menu - each dish more delicious than the last. Highly original and awesome.

Favorite restaurant around town. Wish the prices were a bit More conducive to my budget but the food is prepared to perfection. I had the pork as my Main and it was plentiful enough to take home leftovers. Tiramisu is light and not overly sweet. I also had scallops in curry for app. Just divine. Service was also amazing. Can’t wait to return

We went to Yuta after never having heard of it or been to it so we weren’t sure what to expect. It ended up being a great meal and a really fun experience! Food was incredible and the service was fantastic. We’re looking forward to going back.

Excellent hidden gem of a restaurant. The Chef is from 11 Madison in New York and brought that culinary style to Park City. Highly recommended as a high end experience.
