We really love Yuki Yama but this last experience was just ok. They were out of a few things that were listed on their website which was a little disappointing. We sat upstairs and the ambience is not as inviting. Modern but almost sterile. There’s also no view of the sushi bar upstairs. Our server gave us really basic service with no recommendations or intro and never did a check back on any of our items. We got the gyoza for my son since there aren’t a lot of options for kids. They are made in house, but honestly pretty disappointing in flavor and for 5 gyoza for $20. I would not order that again. But the wagyu was delicious as always and hamachi carpaccio was excellent. Overall we’ll be back, maybe they were just having an off day

Nate was awesome & helpful. Everyone was ON it with the waters and so grand. They are so considerate of gluten-free/celiac as well. I love this place!

We booked this weeks in advanced originally with a party of 4. Since open table now threats to charge you if your party doesn’t show up I had to alter my reservation. I had a table for 4 people, when I changed it to 2 I was throw at the sushi bar. Cramped and stuffed at a 2x4 we order a little of everything off the menu. Naturally having to stagger our meals so we could have somewhere to place our food. Although we could care less for being at the bar, the food was good. Everything we ate was excellent and full of flavor. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The sushi bar was underwhelming for our style of dinning. Once all the temporary residence leave PC we’ll be back to enjoy another meal.

We would like to see more vegan options. We loved the cornrolio that used to be on the menu. One of our rolls was delivered wrong and it had raw salmon on it. The server apologized and brought the correct one, so no big deal.

We lover our evening! All the dishes were delicious and the foo came out very quickly. Our waiter was especially very fun and friendly and did everything to make our evening even more special. We sat at the sushi bar and I loved that spot. We even made some friends with the couple next to us at the end of our meal. I love to come back next year. The miso was the highlight with spicy kimsey. But all the little dishes were just spot on.

We thought most of what we ordered was below average. This applied to the carpaccio, the negeri, the sushi roll and the crab gyoza - tasted like old fish and they kindly removed from the bill. The vegetarian noodles were good as were the shishito peppers.

As Utah residents, we have eaten at many Park City restaurants. Our meal at Yuki Yama was one of the best we have ever had. Billy was an excellent server who was knowledgeable and obviously knew and enjoyed the food he was serving. He helped answer our questions and helped us make the best choices. Daneli (Danyl,?????) our runner/busser was not only efficient and attentive, but he was friendly and personable and knowledgeable. It's always dinner and a show when we get to watch talented sushi chefs while we enjoy the gifts from their hard work. We look forward to our next meal at Yuki Yama.

We were seated up stairs after 8 pm next to a large extremely loud young group to the point of obnoxiously loud. I saw Broadie try to ask them kindly to be mindful and thanked him for saying something because all other tables were not enjoying the experience. Broadie and Zhivko (our main server) ensured we enjoyed our night despite the annoying beginning part of our meal. The food is incredible, the servers too and we can wait to become regulars when in PC part time! Many thanks Zhivko and Broadie!

Had high hopes for this Park City sushi spot but ultimately it fell short where it mattered most - the sushi. Great service and a decent ambiance ultimately don’t make up for uninspired dishes lacking any real flavor. We had four roles including the Executive and Mr. Miyagi from their chef’s special selection and not one really one us over. Capping it off with their only desert option (a sweet potato layered cake) left us feeling full but satisfied. Can’t compare to the other options PC has to offer, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to hit this spot.

This is a phenomial sushi restaurant which prides itself on great quality fish and creative dishes. As somewhat of a sushi snob, this restaurant gets a very favorable approval. If you're in Park City, Canyons, or Deer Valley, make a reservation, you won't regret it.

Always love dining at Yuki Yama. Appetizers were all great but we thought the sushi was sub par tonight. We had the gyoza, oysters, and cod-all wonderful. We had the chefs special 6 piece nigiri which was good. Our two sushi rolls were ok. Mr Mygami was great but the Sh nuff was terrible. We each had one piece and couldn’t eat it. We shared our thoughts with our server but he didn’t take it off our bill. $22 for yucky sushi. Overall it was a fun night but sushi not as good as we have experienced in the past.

If you live in the Park City area, and must have sushi, than this place works. If you are from an area that has decent sushi, then save your money and just wait to you get home. Maybe this could be considered an excellent sushi restaurant, given that we are in Utah. However, for the price level, even if much less, it is mediocre at best. There are hundreds of sushi bars in every major city that blow this place away, yet cost much less.

We made a reservation for my sons birthday. Sushi was excellent. The wagyu beef salt block was a fun experience for the kids to cook on. They provided a candle on a dessert ordered for my son to blow away. Would come again the next time we are in park city.

It had been a long time since my last visit, and I have to say both my wife and I were very disappointed in the food, especially at this price point. $200 for both of us before tip with no alcohol. Service was great, but we left disappointed. I have been eating at sushi restaurants for over 40 years and I would consider sushi to be my favorite food. Over the years I have eaten at all different levels of sushi restaurants, from all you can eat, rotating plates, to super high end and I would put my meal at Yuki Yama towards the bottom. And I am not very picky! We ordered the edamame, cucumber salad and pork gyoza to share and I ordered the 15 piece sashimi, the Executive special maki roll and a bowl of rice. Edamame - good, liked the course ground salt. Cucumber salad - better, sizable portion with good flavor. Pork Gyoza - maybe the worst I have ever had and I will happily eat the frozen microwave stuff. Little flavor and bad texture, like it had been reheated after sitting out for hours. Sauce that came with it was good. 15 Piece Sashimi - pretty good with a nice array of seaweed salad and other edible garnishes. There were 4 different cuts, salmon, red snapper, travally jack, and fatty tuna. Some cuts were great, fatty tuna, but they were just ok, with the salmon being disappointing. If that is all I had, I would not have been so disappointed, but $60... Executive Maki Roll & Rice Bowl - the rice in everything was not good. Like the gyoza, its texture was like it had been reheated. Super disappointed. My wife's meal was similar, a roll and salmon nigiri. Salmon was ok, but rice in both ware terrible. Overall I am not sure if we just had a one-off bad meal, or if this has become characteristic of the quality. Either way, I will not be going back anytime soon.

The tuna tartare on crispy rice was a great version of this classic dish. The salmon collar kame was also incredibly delicious (beware some bones). Our waiter Link was a total pro.

Food was delicious! We love sushi and have been to MANY sushi spots. My 13yo sushi connoisseur said it was better than NOBU The menu had several items that we had never seen anywhere else. We sat at the sushi bar. The waiter and sushi bar attendant Mateo were excellent throughout the meal. We got our sushi and menu items in a very timely manner. We are so glad we were able to get a reservation. Hope to go back again
