L'établissement intime du chef Daisuke Izutsu, situé à Mount Pleasant, n'accueille que 20 personnes par soir. Our commitment to culinary excellence is showcased in each dish, meticulously curated and presented by our esteemed owner-chef, Daisuke Izutsu. Please be advised that this reservation is ticketed and NON-REFUNDABLE. Note that the pricing for our tasting menu excludes beverages, pairings, or any additional add-ons.       Wonderful culinary and human experience! The Chef and the staff were very personable! Loved the cuisine and the sake pairing is a must at least once. My wife and I really enjoyed it and even more so since it was our 15 year anniversary. They made each guest feel welcome and imbued the meal with a personal touch for everyone.

      We had a great experience sitting at the counter, watching Chef and his team prepare our meal. Counter seats are comfortable and there is just enough room between the diners. Chef is very friendly, puts you at ease, and explains the various dishes. The presentation and plating are beautiful. Our favourite dish was the seared beef, urchin and fois gras wrapped up in a shiso leaf - perfection! What we did not understand were the two younger couples who spent all of their time on their phones, looking at various apps. What a waste of an evening - and very rude to Chef.

      A wonderful experience from start to finish. Chef Izutsu shared some of his life story which truly added to the evening.

      My husband and I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible omakase restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were warmly greeted by the staff, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. The chef's selection of dishes was nothing short of spectacular, each one meticulously crafted with the finest ingredients and bursting with flavor. The presentation was exquisite, elevating each dish to a work of art. Every course was a delightful surprise, showcasing the chef's creativity and expertise. The sake we picked up complemented the meal perfectly, enhancing the overall dining experience. The attentive service and attention to detail truly made me feel like a valued guest.
