This is an amazing gem of a place. The staff was outstanding. A visit to our table by the chef - always a nice touch. The ambiance of the old pharmacy was truly unique. Everything we tried from the Brioche to the crab/avocado salad to the ribeye were perfect. Excited to go back there again soon. I did give it a high "value" score, understanding "value" doesn't necessarily mean "cheap".

The space is beautiful, the owner was welcoming, Genesis, our server, was knowledgeable and a joy. The Brie in phyllo was a light, tasty starter and the filet mingon with garlic mash was amazing! My daughter's sesame crusted tuna was so good she refused to share, LOL! There was also another older gentleman server (can't remember his name) who was sweet and friendly, not something you would expect, but certainly enjoyable to talk to. All in all, we would not only recommend York St, I would make the 2 hour drive again to visit again. Except this time, I want to sit by the giant dog! Thanks for a great evening!

My wife and I had dinner with our daughter and granddaughter before attending the theater. Starters included the Brie cheese wrapped in puffed pastry with berries and honey. Also got the dirty hummus. Dinner included a NY strip, my wife had the cheese burger. All was delicious. Our server, Phoenix was great.

Order NY strip steak and they were overly salty and tons of fat in the cuts. For $45 expected much better.

We have been to York Street Cafe for dinner several times, but never went there for brunch. I would highly recommend it. Food was very good and price was appropriate. The presentation of the food was very attractive (got the brunch board). I really like the ambiance of this place.
