We take reservations up to 14 days in advance (at 12am midnight)

Yasu is Canada's first Omakase sushi bar. We celebrates the ocean’s best catches and the craft of sushi in its award-winning Toronto eatery; dishes created by Executive Chef and Owner Yasu Ouchi from Osaka, Japan. There is only one menu at Yasu; Omakase style (chef's choice set course) at $185 per person, a Japanese tradition wherein Chef Yasu creates a new menu daily based on the freshest and seasonal seafood available from around the world. The Omakase course consists of approximately 20 items include appetizers, sushi and dessert. An 18% service fee will be added to each bill. Any further tipping or gratuity is not expected. We look forward to hosting you!

Yasu offers a premium omakase experience with quality ingredients, professional service, and elegant ambiance. I would not hesitate to recommend it to any who enjoy sushi, and are looking to elevate that enjoyment.

Fabulous combination of omakase and a chef's table small group experience. Not so much guest interaction as chef's table but a warm and cordial evening. Fish was superb. Expertly prepared and served. Excellent traditional presentation with no options for soy sauce drowning guests. Excellent beverage suggestions from our host. In all, a genuine 5 star evening.

Scrumptious sushi in each bite. We had the sake pairing which was great. We also splurged for the caviar nigiri which was disappointing and not worth it but everything else was pretty much perfect.

This was a lovely dining experience - everyone eating the same thing at the same time, really delicious and fresh sushi, detailed explanations by wonderful staff. We tried the sake pairing menu as well and it was truly excellent and will change the way you think about sake.

Amazing experience trying unique food flown in directly from Japan and other parts of the world. Excellent service and care taken in preparation. Would go again.

I have been enjoying Yasu for a long time. The food is absolutely divine and the sake pairings perfect. The prices have risen significantly since the start and the value is no longer what it was, unfortunately.

Had the lunch omakase for my birthday last weekend. The food was exquisite and the ingredients fresh and delicious. The host was very welcoming and friendly and the chef was incredibly kind as well. Food was delicious and we added on the sashimi plate and an extra uni+caviar nigiri piece. Everything was so delightfully tasty and we had a wonderful time!
