    Food was amazing but the service was ok. Very busy when we arrived but we had a reservation for 8:45 PM. It was projected to storm that night so many outdoor reservations were moved inside. Not an issue for us but we did have to wait until 9:05 pm to get officially sat at a table. The hostess kindly gave us seats at the bar until our table was ready. While we were at the bar my friend went to grab a drink menu from the hostess stand. As he approached the stand another patron ran up to him and rudely questioned if he knew where Chris was over and over. My friend stood there in disbelief until the hostess intervened and stated he was not part of the wait staff. Not a good look for our first dining experience but we brushed it off. Our server Kevin was friendly but only saw him a few times throughout the night. Again the food was absolutely immaculate and is the main reason I would return here.

    I was so excited to come here for my birthday and enjoy Yamas! The food and drinks were amazing. However I left feeling let down and I didn’t feel very welcome there. I felt rushed to leave and was just hoping for a more positive and upbeat experience.

    Like a little visit to the islands. First rate ingredients cooked perfectly. Wonderful vibe.

    Service was nice, everyone was super polite, greeted with a smile and when we left everyone said bye, it’s the little things that matter. The tables for two have no space to move in between when you’re trying to get in and out. It makes it awkward for all parties. Cocktails were on point and food was very well made and seasoned. I’ll be going back but with a bigger party to try more dishes.

    This place has simply gone to the dogs! We showed up yesterday and the music was SO LOUD! that we couldn’t hear each other or our waitress for our entire meal. All the people outside were high on pot and they were openly smoking it and drinking themselves under the table. Every time they opened the door we could smell it. They were loud and obnoxious. This felt like a day club in Ibiza BUT without the beach or a view. We had a 6pm inside dinner reservation and we never signed up for this crazy stuff. There was even a magician outside with a pink sparkling suit. The food was terrible. Last time we had the Chicken Souvlaki it was delicious and made with white meat. This time we received the fattiest nastiest Chicken parts along with an underwhelming moussaka. The Tzatziki with Pita was good and the meatball appetizer was solid but the shrimp saganaki was bland and non eventful. We will not be back. What a joke…

    One of our favorites in Austin! Everything is great and the owners are so friendly and caring about the customers. Get the grilled octopus appetizer!
