Yama ramen and sushi bar is a Japanese eatery and sushi bar. We proudly serve our authentic ramen and delicate Japanese sushi.
We are located at the heart of Midtown West New York City and walking distance from Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nintendo NYC, Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
Reservation is not required.

Food was OK, service good. Bit dark and small. Only one toilet for entire restaurant. Few-to-no toilets in food services businesses - must be a NYC thing.

Excellent Tonkotsu ramen. It was very flavorful and definitely one of the best ramen I’ve had lately. It came with a nice variety of toppings and the pork belly was tender. They have great happy hour menu. Fast and friendly service.

Be ready to climb a flight of stairs and sit on a hard wooden stool. Varied menu with ramen as well as sushi, sashimi and lots of other choices. Fast service if you are going to a show.

We had edamame, pork gyoza, top of the rock, tuna roll combo, miso ramen and kimchi ramen. All were very delicious and fresh. The inside decor is a nice ambiance. Service was quick, but all of our food came out at slightly different times. All in all it was delicious. We will definitely go back!

Probably my favorite dining experience in NYC! Delicious food, quaint spot, quick service. Definitely would return and recommend.

Outstanding! Excellent food, ambiance, and service with great music. The space is cozy and welcoming. Had Scottish salmon for appetizer and Tonkotsu ramen with black garlic oil. The pork belly is tasty and tender. My new favorite ramen place in the city.
