The food was delicious, to put it mildly! The service was incredible... and the refreshing scoop of sorbet in between the courses was the cherry on top:) We'll be sure to visit again soon!

I wanted to take my mother somewhere nice for her 60th birthday but didn't want to go too far from home since the kids had school the next day. I found this place on OpenTable and was pleasantly surprised. I'm a native Brooklynite and had never been that far down Coney Island Avenue so I didn't know what to expect. When I walked up my expectations were low because the place is very unassuming. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and from the time we entered the hospitality and customer service was definitely notable. We started will the bbq chicken tacos, an order placed by my 9 year old, that I was not rushing to try. However, I was delightfully surprised. We went with the ribeye and salmon for our entrees and both were tasty. They also have a fabulous cocktails with flair. If you're looking for a nice steakhouse with great hospitality, try Yakar!

Service was great, many employees attended to our table and needs. Food came out all on time. Apps with Apps and mains with mains. All steaks were cooked to perfection and the desserts were top notch. I cant find anything negative at all and look forward to going back again.

The prices are a bit of a sticker shock but after I experienced the quality of the meat, cocktails and appetizers, I concluded it was worth the trip and the expense. Service was very attentive and the cool, subdued 50s ambience was most appreciated during the hectic holiday season. A great choice when most of the places in my neighborhood were closed on Christmas.

Service was outstanding the waitress brought me jerky to taste was delicious the carpaccio was super thin and flavorful 10/10 Taco's was delicious corn soup was creamy and yummy beef sliders was crispy perfect Cook 10/10 the flat bread wasn't my style maybe you should have more options for flatbread like pastrami or pulled beef

The food and cocktails at Yakar Steakhouse were absolutely delicious!!!! We especially loved the crispy beef and the tongue appetizer!! The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was just perfect. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Nice place. Each different food you order has a different sauce for dipping- no repeats which was great. Skirt steak was delicious! Appetizers were beautifully presented and very tasty. Wait time for food can be a bit long so prepare to wait. Waiters and service was great. Clean, dim and relaxing ambiance. Prices were typical for a steakhouse.
