XUNTOS, "together" in Gallego, is a Tapas Bar from Chef Sandra Cordero in the heart of Downtown Santa Monica, serving small plates of things we want you to try: from the farmer's market around the corner to traditional dishes of Galicia, Asturias, Catalunya & the Basque Country, as they're eaten in Spain.

The wines follow the food: natural, fun & unrefined, showcasing Spain & California, along with some others we love & want to share with you.

Walk in to the bar for Xuntanza from 5-7pm, Monday-Saturday!

Raj will be in the house pouring his wines & telling tales of the city of vines (aka Los Angeles), big bottles, bigger piles of compost & the meaning of Misturado. Parr is a James Beard award-winning author, wine professional & celebrated sommelier. His winemaking career began with Sandhi & Domaine de la Cóte in Santa Barbara. Now he's moved both up and down the coast: to Cambria tending the extremely cool Phelan Farm, & back down the grapevine to Cucamonga for Scythian Wine Co. We’ll focus on the these labels, particularly those with Spanish roots: Palomino, Mencía y más!

We went on a Monday Night Restaurant was nearly empty. Service was prompt. Waiter was knowledgeable about menu. Roasted Shrimp was above average. Truffle toast was good. Wines by the glass needs upgrading. Overall it was good. Not what we were expecting.

Best Spanish food in LA! Service is top notch, wine list is exciting (also just received liquor license), and food is delicious.

This was our second time to Xuntos and we loved it. The room is a great ArtDeco feeling especially the seashell wall! Our servers were lovely and did a great job of explaining the tapas/pintxos menu. The standouts were the fried eggplant, sardine empanadas, and the acelgas. Loved their Albarino, too.

This is a small place with good service. The food is interesting dishes meant for sharing. Because its small the noise level is high. Our party enjoyed the experience and the food.

Feels a little bit like being in Spain. We were greeted by friendly staff and our server was engaging without being over the top. Small shareable plates, they say 3 - 5 per person but we were totally satiated with 5 plates between the 2 of us (and a cocktail). We both loved the flavors, lovely char on the artichokes, the lamb skewer was moist and juicy, empanadas (3 varieties to chose from and we tried tuna) was excellent. Great cocktail list, of which we both loved the one we tried. Many wines by the glass or bottle, but we didn't pay attention to that list. Great addition to the neighborhood.
