WU Chow brings authentic, farm-fresh, modern Chinese food to Austin by offering dishes representative of all eight styles of Chinese cuisine. Led by Executive Chef Ji Peng Chen, the farm-to-wok menu will include Austin favorites such as Crispy Sesame Beef, Honey Pecan Prawns, Dry Fried Local Green Beans and a wide variety of Handmade Steamed and Fried Dumplings. Full bar is available including guest favorite cocktails such as the Texan’s Take On Tiki, Nole Gingko, Green Dragon; with a selection of beer, wine & zero-proof cocktails. Wu Chow 38th also offers a private dining room that accommodates up to 40 people, complete with full audiovisual capability and its own private entrance

Beautiful environment as always, everything is always incredibly delicious, but more than that- the attention paid to guests is beyond compare. The staff was so kind to our table with two people with immune disorders and food allergies and took care to inform us of each dish and what was and was not safe for them. It felt like being at a friend's house. I know that it isn't easy for restaurants to handle those requests but I really feel like this was the best experience I've had in Austin when dining with these family members. They were treated so respectfully and not like a problem or an issue. Can't recommend it more!

Overall food was ok. Most of the items were comparable to take out Chinese food, just at higher prices.

Gone down hill. Used to be really good but the service and quality of the food has been terrible the last few times I’ve gone. Most of the food was so salty it was barely edible. Such a shame.

I would happily eat at any restaurant run by C.K. Chin. This location of Wu Chow is a huge success.

This was our first time to try Wu Chow's new location. We liked the easy parking and attractive exterior, and the interior really made us feel like it was a special occasion place. The service was excellent--attentive, careful to be sure our dietary restrictions were met, and very speedy. The amount of food was just right (we ordered one main and one vegetable dish, plus soups) and very tasty. It was our anniversary, and they provided us with complimentary sparkling wine to help us celebrate.

Hot and sour soup: watery Green beans: excellent Singapore noodles: good but underflavored Tangerine beef: half the too-big pieces were tough (had cut them in half), tangerine sauce OK but too timid and too little

Went for DimSum. Food was hit or miss. Char sui was good but disappointed in pineapple bao and sesame noodles. Jasmine tea was good but second pot was too hot, burned the tip of my tongue while sipping. Egg crean bao was okay. Sticky rice had gluttonous texture and odd flavor. Service was polite and good without hovering. Disappointed that dim sum was not on carts moving through restaurant, which was first time I've experienced no carts. Restaurant had nice, modern ambiance and was not loud, which I appreciate.

Service was great - attentive, timely, team. Food was delicious, green beans a bit overcooked, but didn't stop us from having 2 orders of them. Ambience of this location lacks compared to that of the downtown restaurant.
