This is probably going to be my absolute best review. My Mother’s Day started out a little teary. Plans just kept falling through. So I thought I would do something for myself and maybe invite some coworkers. That fell through. But I made my reservations determined not to cancel. Last minute a beautiful sister in Christ joined me. Neither of us have ever been here. I have been to some pretty uppity scale restaurants, and I don’t mean Red Lobster or Olive Garden. This one lives up to the 5 🌟. First off, parking is underneath and they sign off. Yeah! Free! We then laughed our bougie hips right through the Renaissance breezeway and out one door right into the oh so delightful tapestry of Wren and Wolf. We were greeted with smiles as if we were regulars. She even mentioned she read my preferences. We were seated in a both close to the front. The noise level was perfect. I mean people are going to talk and socialize. We could clearly hear ourselves talk. Secondly a blooper blessing. A charming young man placed a dish of crusted bread in front of us and we immediately indulged. It wasn’t ours nor was it their free bread appetiser. We were first embarrassed, then humbled. I offered to pay for it but they graciously declined. I ordered the 12 hour braised oxtails. Somebody come get me!!! It was so fabulous, I couldn’t talk. Then the whipped potatoes, buttery clouds, I tell you, I thought that’s what was on my plate. They were the creamiest, fluffiest, lightest, and most tasty whipped potatoes I have ever put in my mouth. They are the #1 of all potatoes I’ve ever eaten. The broccolini was nicely seasoned but a little too crunchy for my braces. But no complaints. Then the iced Chai Latte, could have been a bit stronger but that time of night, I could appreciate the reduced caffeine level. Second to last, the GELATO! Fabulous! A+. I couldn’t finish it. Lastly, the server (s) bravo. Everyone was exceptional. This experience definitely deserves a repeat.

Made reservation, gave us the worst seating not even getting to experience the inside (sat us near the windows and curtains where all the day light is and not inside where it’s dark… there’s booths lights and the bar.) Caesar salad was dry no dressing on it chicken was like 4 small slices. when asked for extra dressing it took a while, since we were not where everyone is getting the experience we felt as if the waiter would forget about us or things we would ask for. This was all for dinner. Been there before for brunch and it was way better

The Mother's Day brunch buffet was amazing! They had eggs Benedict, salmon eggs Benedict, French toast, homemade bacon, scrambled eggs, 2 types of salads, prime rib, and a seafood bar which had split crab legs, lobster tail, drawn butter, oyster bar, shrimp. Desserts as well. It was all top quality. There was even a DJ next to the desserts spinning low key but fun music for the buffet! So fun and memorable. Pricey but for what they offered, the price was on point.

Love the ambiance of the restaurant not too noisy took my wife out for Mother’s Day dinner and she love the place. Hannah our server was amazing and wait time for food was not very long and food was definitely to the taste. Definitely recommend for a date night any occasion

Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. Enjoyed the drinks, very strong but delicious. Plate size was perfect, not too much but not too little, was able to try a bit of everything. Service was on point very attentive.

As always another great experience and the W&W. The only issue was my steak, which was a VERY mediocre cut. Fortunately the chef saved the day by preparing it perfectly. Even though the cut was lackluster, the steak was still cooked absolutely perfectly and had GREAT flavor. Props and compliments to the chef!!! Everything else was absolutely perfect.

Wren & Wolf was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Great food - we had the lobster tagliatelle and Salisbury steak and both were well presented and delicious. The service was delightful - Graham was a great server. All around a superb dinner and we’d definitely go back.

One Word: WOW! Absolutely delicious food, perfect service, and amazing ambiance. Might be our favorite restaurant in the area. Trophy Room is our favorite speakeasy as well.

We had Lex as our server. She was amazing because prior to her explanation she checked in with us to see if we wanted to hear about the place or just dine quietly.. Lex even found out that we had gotten married and gave us champagne, a discount, and a mini photo session on her own. It was awesome. She was kind, knowledgeable, and also has a cool story that I was happy to hear. I would come back just for the service. I must also mention that the food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful. I had the quiche which was great and my husband had the Dutch pancake that he will it stop talking about. We are excited to return to try the dinner menu.

Everyone was timely and professional. The staff worked very hard and that should be noted. The service was great. Most items that came from the kitchen in our party of 8, except the pastries and a burger, were either underwhelming or not cooked to request. Unfortunately, would not go back.

Celebrated my birthday here and we had the best server. John was so happy to have us and made us feel special. We enjoyed everything from the food, drinks (nonalcoholic too), service and the ambiance. I would love to dine here again in the future.

First time going after hearing good things. I booked a table for 1 (not the bar — OpenTable gave both options) for 6pm. When I arrived, the hostess was blunt & cold, stating she only had bar seating or this one high table right by the door & all the traffic which hadn’t yet been cleared. I often dine solo and have encountered this attitude before, like I don’t matter. It’s very insulting and a poor first impression. I stated that I had specified a table and she went off in a huff. Low & behold, she found a table at the back, but nice quiet ambiance. Everything went well after that. My waiter Victor was marvelous: friendly, informed, attentive and helpful. He coordinated everything timely so I could make the Ballet later. Had the Bramble cocktail — worth it. Glass of Red: Roman Ceremony, very good, earthy, paired well with the 10oz tenderloin perfect cooked rare–med rare. Sides were fair, mashed potatoes too garlicky & buttery imo, broccolini tough. Decor amazing. Other waiters were also very nice, and you could see they supported each other. Would give 5 star but for snit hostess/poor start & ok sides.

We were greeted warmly by the charming hosts and promptly seated. Graham, our server, was incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and attentive. The meal and cocktails were outstanding and the ambiance was excellent. This was one of the best customer experiences, and we'll definitely be returning!

Outstanding meal. Every dish was superb. We had the Zatar bread, strawberry salad, 24 hour braised oxtail, asparagus, and butter cake. I’d eat it all again every day.

Maddie was awesome! She gave us great recommendations and we enjoyed everything we ate. We had bone marrow and bluefin ceviche as the appetizers and lobster tagliatelle and salmon for entrees. Great ambiance, friendly staff, and good location. Since it’s downtown I’d plan to look for a parking spot and walk. One of us parked in the Palomar garage and the other got lucky with street parking.

The meal was extremely well managed from our initial seating - it was an excellent experience. Victor our waiter was very engaging and the orchestration of order/delivery, from initial water service, to drinks, appetizer, wine, sides and main course was coordinated seamlessly by several different wait staff members. All in all it was a wonderful evening.

We have been wanting to see if this location lives up to the hype and reputation. The atmosphere is incredible, however, the food was average and the service was subpar. I expect that the server we had for a late lunch at 2 pm might not be as good as the evening service but not sure because we will not go back. 3 cocktails that were dinky for 60 bucks is not going to cut it - we will stick with the real 5 star locations in the future when we celebrate good news during the cocktail hour on a Friday.

We loved our experience at Wren + Wolf. We ordered the bread service, oysters, the filet, and the wild boar bolognese. My wife and I shared everything and had no complaints. The steak was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes that came with it were immaculate. The wild boar bolognese was also really good. We ordered a round of drinks with dinner and the cocktails we got were both very good. After dinner, we made an additional reservation for their speakeasy called the Trophy Room. It’s a no phones allowed experience and a great way to end the night!

I'm a foodie. I am picky and never mind paying for a high quality meal. I was traveling with any best friend who wanted a steak dinner for our last night. She recommended another place but after looking at the menu, I was underwhelmed. Then I found Wren & Wolf's menu and was immediately sold at the notion of bread service getting its own section. Wren & Wolf is one of those rare gems you come across that you never forget. There's not a single thing on this menu that made me scrunch my nose up. The food was decadent, flavorful, inspired and delicious. We had the truffle butter (mainly bc I adore truffles), beef carpaccio, A5 Wagyu (cooked table side) and truffle Mac & Cheese. Every morsel was filled with flavor. The quality was what you'd expect at this price point and you can tell they only use the best ingredients. I highly recommend Wren & Wolf if you're looking for a chef style, high end meal in Phoenix. I will definitely be back when I'm in town. PS. Go to the trophy room. Holy cow that place is rad and the bartenders are top notch!!

too noisy, everything just moderate, was hoping for much more after reading other reviews. pretty decor, lovely waitress. I would not recommend or return

The ambiance was outstanding, it was pretty loud which was honestly the downside due to the music by the service and food was amazing. It is more high end in price range but it was amazing. Definitely plan on going again.
