The only problem we had, was the reservation we made was for 4pm on OpenTable App, but when we showed up @ 4:15, we were told Woodbury's opens at 5pm. Oh, and it was freezing in the restaurant, but we had jackets. The service was absolutely top notch this time. Food was delicious and came out timed perfectly. The Restaurant Week $30 deal was so worth it. Fried cheese appetizer was way better than we expected and just the right size. The short ribs were very tender, well seasoned. Carrots were a bit under done but it was fine since I took them home and they reheated perfectly the next day. Cheesy hash browns were perfectly crispy and flavorful. Grilled pound cake with strawberries, champaign and cream was a new treat and delicious! Fantastic job this time; we will be back!

Cost too much money for the few items on the Buffett. Meat options - prime rib, bacon & shrimp. The only prime rib option was rare, way too bloody to be appealing. I asked for medium to well done & the server couldn’t find any to serve. Where were the mashed potatoes? The only potatoes served were the roasted & cheesy potato. Again, very few options for the high price.

Food was okay. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing. They were out of the gooey butter cake. Not sure I would go back unless staying at the hotel.

For $370 for 4 people the food was bland. I would suggest hitting the bar for some great cocktails then going somewhere else for dinner.

We arrived 1.5 hrs before our event we were to attend. It took 15 minutes or more to see a server then another 15 minutes to get our wine. We were finally able to order a salad and dinner. Long after we finished our salad, our waiter came and said our steaks weren’t even on the fire yet. We had been there for well over an hour at that point. We left to make it to our even without even eating. Very disappointed and we have eaten at many high end restaurants. This was any far our worst experience

Stayed at The Warrior and booked Woodburys for supper before the show. Started with appetizers, shrimp and grits and street corn beignets, both were delicious, I loved the crispy cream combination of the beignets. I followed up with a burrata salad, beautifully presented and so good. Husband had NY strip and enjoyed that with besides of Brussel sprouts and garlic mashed. The positives- beautiful setting, terrific choices, convenient option. The negatives- dinner server did not take the rest of our order until well after our appetizers came to the table and the price was a bit steep overall. Would dine at the Woodbury again!

Great food. Exceptioaly attentive wait staff especially Diedre. The omelette I had for breakfast was the best ever. The breakfast wait and food preparation staffs performed well considering a party of 12 came in to aprivate room for breakfast without notice.

Was during winter so not a lot of patrons. Drinks were little stout and service was hit and miss. Sure due to the fact they were light staffed for a Thursday night. Overall food was good desert was great.

The salmon with Cale was outstanding. Not sure how they flash fry the cale but it was spectacular Just a great atmosphere and food that is just as good

We had 6 p.m. reservations and arrived at 5:50. We didn’t get seated until 6:20 without any excuses. Our order was taken at 6:45 and we had to ask for the bread. I had a romaine salad in which I had to cut it into a salad and the knives were so bad that I used my pocket knife to cut it. We had tickets for the Orpheus’s 7:30 show and at 7:20 I explained to the maitre de that we would haven to leave without eating and did. I was pleasant but so much for Valentine’s Day. Sure glad the show made up for the dinner. I bought tacos after the show (Taco Bell).

Apparently the restaurant overbooked themselves. I had a reservation for 6:00. We waited until 6:15 to get seated. We got water but got no offer of drinks until we ordered our food. We had to ask for bread. We thought we would have plenty of time to get to the show across the street. But by the time we got our food, we were short and time and I only had time to eat my soup and my husband, his fries. We had asked for ketchup and never received it. We had to box up our steak and baked potato. I was so looking forward to putting all the toppings on my potato to my liking only to get the potatoes with a small amount of cheese and bacon bits and a side of sour cream. We’ve been here multiple times and have always enjoyed it, but tonight we were both quite miffed about the service, we definitely did not get what we paid for!

We had a 5:45 reservation and didn’t have a table for 31 minutes after that. Kind of defeats the point of setting a reservation. We figured 5:45 would have given us plenty of time to sit down, have a nice meal and go to our show at 7:30 across the street. But since we were seated at 6:15 or so and then ordered 10 minutes later we were rushed through dinner and still a late for our show. The food was good but the overall experience was disappointing. We understand that there was a rush of people before the show, however if someone reserves a table a week plus before then a table should be ready at said time. My 2 cents.

I really like the atmosphere and the work that was done to refurbish this old building. Our steaks were very sub-par for a the price. It was unfortunate due to the fact it was a special birthday dinner.

We enjoyed our dinner experience. Both of our steaks were delicious and cooked exactly as ordered. It's nice to have another great steakhouse in the Sioux City area.

Great American steakhouse in art deco surroundings. Bar tender was knowledgeable, friendly , and made good recommendations. Food was fabulous! The crab crusted halibut could have been on any big city upscale menu. Portion size was ample on all dishes but not excessive. Steaks were done perfectly to order. The street corn beignets were wonderful - highly recommended. It was a win on all counts. Prices are on the high side but I think you have to pay for top quality. Overall, our group had a delightful experience.

We had to switch tables twice because the chairs were too low (I am shorter in stature), felt like a child at the big kids table. Not comfortable to sit and eat. Our sodas were flat. Expected it to be more like a restaurant than an extension of the bar area. No interest in going back.

We were acknowledged immediately when we walked in. Servers were efficient and attentive. The food was excellent. It was our adult son’s birthday. They gave him a free dessert. Wonderful experience!

Only people in my restaurant. Server was also attending bar so hard to get his attention when needed. We had my 89 year old mother with us so the delay in ordering and getting dessert ordered and waiting for bill was long. Also planned on having the small prime rib as your websight showed. Couldn’t get small prime rib and it was a ribeye. Not typically prime rib. A little disappointed in what we could order and what you advertised on your web sight.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. I had the crab encrusted halibut with potatoes and kale. Excellent flavor from begging to end. My potatoes had cooled by the time they were served but still yummy. I also had the French onion soup which was fabulous. My husband had the ribeye, perfectly done, with the loaded baked potato…I forget his other side. He thoroughly enjoyed everything. We will definitely eat there again!

We had brunch to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We were very pleased with the food selections , ambiance, and service. The kind staff truly made our celebration special. Would definitely recommend!

It was very nice- we watched the sunset, then proceeded for supper. We were taken to our table immediately with a smile. We had excellent service and the food was very good. It was quiet, which is a rare thing these days- no difficulty carrying on a conversation.

My husband and I always have a great experience here. Natalie was a new server and did an excellent job. My husband loved the seafood pasta, and I enjoyed the hot honey salmon. Both were delicious. He had the Twin Bing chocolate cake, and I had the Twin Bing martini. The manager, Collin, is doing a fabulous job. They are very receptive to food intolerances and will make your meal fit your dietary needs. We always have a 5 star experience.

Waitress was very attentive & was quick to meet our needs. We were celebrating my daughter’s 16th birthday and they went above and beyond to make it special for her. The food was delicious! The ambiance was nice and calming with dimmed lighting and little noise. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Had the best time before a fashion show event we were attending at the hotel. It was so nice to come and have a nice meal before the event. Our server was great and the food was soooo yummy!!! I highly recommend the STREET CORN BEIGNETS! HEAVENLY!!!

A friend & I ate dinner there prior to a performance at the Orpheum. I have eaten there a total of 4 times now---one breakfast, one lunch & two dinners. I have also stayed at the Warrior Hotel on two separate occassions. Our food choices were plentiful, fresh & tasty! My friend complained that the "seafood dish" was much spicier than she anticipated. The ambiance of the dining room is exquisite & our server was helpful, responsive & always smiling!! I promote the hotel & it's amenities all the time. I know I will be dining there again in the future. Thank you!!

Our server was great and helped when I asked about a substitution of a side. Overall the food was delicious and we are happy to have chosen this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary.

Prime rib was over cooked. The au jus was clear and tasteless. The waiter said the rib had just arrived on a truck so it was going to take longer. They sent green beans instead of asparagus and when he brought the replacement, he brought 3 tiny pieces when everyone got 6 nice pieces. Our waiter had forgotten us a few times and we had to call our waiter over or we sent another waiter after him.

I would give less than one star if I could. We had a reservation for our anniversary we had been wanting to try it for awhile. We requested a booth in the reservation but they were full, the hostess said the ppl were in it 30mins over what they were supposed to be. Which I can see why now if they had the same slow service we had. The hostess was very nice and sat us at a table. She showed us how to look at the menu on the ipad and poured us some water. The table was ok but I just wasn’t a fan of the atmosphere, it felt cold and not as clean and fancy as I was thinking it would be in my head. Then we sat there for 10-15 mins with absolutely no other contact! No waitress to take drink order or even to tell us she would come to take our drink order. My husband had plenty of time to look over the menu and was unimpressed already. I’ve worked in the nicest restaurants across the country and you cannot leave guests sitting for 10mins at a table with nothing, not if you expect them to pay at least $100per person for a nice steak dinner. It felt like the twilight zone, so after about 15mins of nobody coming to our table we just left. I was going yo tell the hostess on our way out, but there was no one around yo even tell we were leaving. We went to Table 32 and had a fabulous dinner.

Call and did an excellent job. Taking care of us is very much an asset to Woodbury’s, and the Warrior hotel.. it was my birthday, and he made sure it was special. We had the Seabass and the sirloin steak, the food was excellent.
