We went for Mother’s Day and everyone enjoyed their food. Especially the Rigatoni! We had a 2:15 PM reservation and didn’t realize the kitchen closed at 2:30. We were able to get our orders in but it felt a bit rusher. Wished we had known so we could have come in earlier. The service was great snd my girls said the place had a cool vibe. We’ll definitely go back!

I unfortunately had to leave the restaurant before trying any food. After being seated at a table just a few minutes after our reservation, my companion and I waited 30 minutes with no server ever coming to our table. At about 25 minutes in my companion alerted the host so we could get service, but still no one came. This was at 6:15pm on a Friday evening, seated in the center of the restaurant with numerous servers covering other tables. The manager happened to be at the host stand when we were leaving and we told the host, and while he seemed exasperated to hear of our lack of service the manager made no attempt to apologize or rectify the situation. Instead we had standing tacos around the corner and a cocktail at another restaurant before attending a show at the Geffen. I will never return to Wolfsglen. Too many other worthy options nearby. The bus staff was great though, with my water being filled multiple times.

I was not blown away. Granted, Westwood is an expensive area but a bowl of pasta bolognese for $28 should be spectacular. It was not bad. The place has a cool vibe and the live jazz band was really good.

The food was good. I wasn’t a fan of the bone marrow. It was too salty and was over powered my the pastrami. The burrata salad was great as well as the labne. The stripped bass and bolognese pasta was also very good.

Our server disappeared in the middle of our meal. We saw several people behind the bar standing there while we had to wait awhile. We even started stacking the plates up because no one would come

Service was terrific, and the jazz ensemble added to the ambiance. Salmon was delicious, as was the Caccio and Pepi. The evening was enjoyable.

The Brussels sprouts were excellent as was the salad with pea tendrils. My Old Fashion bourbon drink was great. The salad with the pea tendrils was quite hard to eat and required extensive cutting to get the pieces small enough. It would have been better with smaller pieces and more actual peas.

The food was delicious, but I prefer more vegetarian options. The noise level at the bar got progressively worse as our dinner progressed. Our table was in a bad spot. This is a great spot for pre- theater dining, but be careful where you are seated.

One of the worst dining experiences I have had in LA. We sat down at 6:30, and by 6:50, not a single server had come by. The manager had to come to take our order (who has very nice), said the server would come by, but never did once. Shawarma was good, burger came out cold. Will not be going back

Food was mediocre. Chiliquiles were salty; Brussels sprouts were cold; the burrata wasn’t fresh and the capers were a weird addition. Service was fine. Nice space. But I wouldn’t go back.

We ordered the cowboy steak. It was flavorless and TOUGH! We were told they would give us a discount since it was evident we hadn’t eaten much of the steak. The “discount “ was the waiters 20% tip. We didn’t want to stiff the server, so basically, we got no discount. I think that’s called pulling a fast one. We ordered the Caesar salad. Delicious. I asked to take home the salad. They brought it in a bag to my table. But then, someone took it away. Not going back!

The menu was overpriced for fairly basic food. Cocktails were tasty and well balanced.

Best bar cocktails, exceptional service from the assistant manager, bartender and our server. Food was also very good. It is our new go to after a play at the Geffen.

We had a wonderful time! Staff were all courteous and very helpful. Food was incredible! We shared everything. Stand outs were the Cesar salad and bone marrow *chef’s kiss*!!

Food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and lively. Wait staff was sweet and welcoming, but a little inattentive, never asked if we wanted drinks or milk with our coffees. Would definitely go back for the food though!

A great neighborhood pick, as well as a very convenient pre- or post-Geffen Playhouse spot for dinner. Excellent food, all very shareable. Great vibe, enhanced by live music.

Food and service were top notch. Incredible starters and desserts. Our entrées were all quite good. The pasta Bolognese was the standout value. The chicken with wild mushrooms was umami-packed (and stood up to the 12-year-old Cabernet we drank with it). The "cowboy" ribeye was delicious and perfectly cooked, though I continue to feel that starters especially — and non-meat-slab entrées — show off the talents of the chefs better (and are better values). Wolfsglen isn't cheap (but no good restaurant is cheap in an area like Westwood or almost anywhere in LA) but it's really good, even surprisingly so.

God bless Wolfsglen; it has great potential, and they just might get it right eventually. Sadly, their servers either are not trained, or don't care about giving proper service. For example, we received our food order prior to our cocktails. In what universe does that make sense? A proper dining experience starts with relaxing over a cocktail before the onslaught of the meal.

We went to Wolfsglen for a quick dinner before a play at the Geffen Playhouse. We hadn’t been to the location since it was the Mustache Cafe many years ago. Our server, Brian, understood our time constraint and offered us their unexpected 20% discount for theatergoers. The menu was really interesting with a lot of original items. We picked the green pea tendril salad because we had never seen that before and let Brian select two appetizers out of the three that we found most interesting. He went full carnivore on us, and selected the steak tartar and bone marrow with Wagyu pastrami. Everything was GREAT! We’ll be back!

Good food , drinks and atmosphere for our party of 5. The steak frites and salmon were big hits. The calamari was also great! They were out of the drink I wanted (the amethyst) so that wasn’t great but other than that it was a good experience!

Had dinner on Friday night during the jazz combo. The music was really great, both pleasant and lively and the perfect volume. The dishes were wonderful, especially the ceviche and the lemon blueberry custard. The only hiccup and it is minor, was that our young server was clueless about the cocktail menu and spirits behind the bar. We asked after a few different spirits (cognac, scotch) and he’d disappear for 10 minutes at a time and then come back with no answers. I asked for a spirits list but apparently they don’t have one - I would recommend a place of this caliber keep a few on hand for the spirit aficionados. Overall a lovely night, will come again and this time sit at the bar.

The food was expensive and not good. Burger overcooked and dry. Salad ok, chicken sandwich also dry and tasteless. Service lack luster. Overall not a good experience and not to be repeated

I love Wolfsglen. It's a welcome addition to the neighborhood, and the food is terrific. Service could use attention. For example, I was brought a glass of wine that had spilled, so it was wet all over the bottom, and the waiter didn't bother to clean it before he set it on the table. Also, your waitstaff is missing opportunities to upsell. I had to actually get up from my seat to go find the server when my wine glass was beyond empty. Having been a server in fast-paced environments, I was surprised to see how slowly some of your waitstaff move.

Our server was helpful in deciding what we should order. Started with delicious arancini. We ordered cauliflower steak w/ a wonderful sauce underneath. Also got schwarma encased in homemade pita. Followed by donut holes that came to the table piping hot. We will be back!

Good and service was amazing. We let the service know we had limited time to eat and get to a play and he was able to make our food get out super fast for us. And suggested items to order to help us.
